Brooker in relation to her riding tactics, in particular as to whether there was an opportunity in the early stages to obtain a position one off the fence trailing NEVETUS rather than remaining to the outside of that runner in a three wide position. Geejay  Inclined to hang out in the middle stages. When questioned regarding the improved performance, trainer L. Bryant advised that at the gelding's previous start at Warwick he was disadvantaged by a wide barrier and felt that with the drop in class today and small field he was confident of a forward showing.   Gatton  29/10/2015

Gran Sabana  Raced wide throughout without cover. When questioned regarding the horse's disappointing performance, apprentice L. Tilley stated that it was his intention to lead or race in a forward position, however the gelding failed to show the necessary speed to take up a forward position. He added that from the 600m the gelding commenced to lose ground and was disappointing. He further indicated to stewards that the gelding may not be suited to the tight turning track. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Chat Time  Was fractious during its preliminary, reared, dislodging S. Eilbeck, giving her a harmless fall. On arrival at the barriers was examined by the veterinary surgeon and cleared to start.
