Apprentice Cox stated her instructions were to push forward from the start and take up a position on the back of the likely leader, RULER’S PRIDE. However, after beginning well she appeared not to overly pressure her mount and at a point some 200m after the start attempted to press forward however when attempting to do so was caught in a 4-wide position

Checked near the 400m to avoid the heels of MADAM SHAZAM (N. Tomizawa), which shifted out to secure clear running. N. Tomizawa was reprimanded.
