When questioned regarding the seemingly improved performance, stable representative Mr S. Fitzgerald reported that the gelding had shown promise in its first campaign however it was not finishing off its races. The gelding had a cyst removed since its last race, and Mr Fitzgerald indicated to Stewards that he believed that this was the major contributing factor in the horse’s improved performance.
