When questioned regarding the improved performance trainers representative R. Macrae advised that the horsees most recent start at Cunnamulla was disappointing as it had worked well in preparation for the event. Mr Macrae added that following that event, the trainer applied Earmuffs and a Tongue-tie to the horsees gear, which he felt, was the major contributing factor to todays improved performance. Stewards noted Mr Macraees explanation.
