Money Talk Raced 5 wide in the early stages. Apprentice B. Nothdurft reported that, in his opinion, the gelding failed to run out today’s distance of 1400m. Gatton 03/05/2018
Ace Stryker when questioned regarding below market performance, Jockey M.Powell stated the gelding, in his opinion, did not handle the sand track conditions. Wondai 25/04/2018

Dylan's Luck Upon entering the home straight, slightly held up and had to be steadied away from heels and shift wider on the track to improve. Had a tendency to lay in over the final 100m and approaching the winning post bumped LIFES LIKE THAT. Gold Coast 12/05/2018
Destiva Hung out rounding home turn. Inconvenienced leaving 100m as a consequence of interference to the outside. Gold Coast 05/05/2018

Mustarrid After beginning moderately, Apprentice C. Gallagher pressed his mount forward to race outside the leader near the 1300m. Apprentice Gallagher reported that the gelding had an inclination to lay out throughout. Gatton 03/05/2018
Flynn Effect Slow to begin. Murwillumbah 07/05/2018
Rosador A post-race veterinary examination of the mare, which weakened over the concluding stages, revealed no significant findings. Apprentice E. Ljung could offer no explanation for the mare’s disappointing performance. Trainer J. Dann expressed disappointment in the performance. Mr Dann advised Stewards that in the days following the event the mare was found to be suffering from a virus and was treated accordingly. Toowoomba 02/05/2018

Haven Duke Raced wide during the early stages before being permitted to stride forward to assume the lead passing the 1000m. Apprentice S. Lacy was fined $300 for using her whip more than 5 times prior to the 100m. In assessing penalty stewards took into account rider apprentice S. Lacy won the race. Sunshine Coast 22/04/2018

Boltin' Desire Unable to improve between the 500m and entrance to the straight when held up on heels. Murwillumbah 07/05/2018
Fake News Raced awkwardly shortly after the start and lost ground. Made contact with the running rail and had to be checked when tightened for room near the 900m. Stewards inquired into this incident and were satisfied that the tightening was caused when RELIABLE LASS (B. Stewart) shifted in despite the efforts of its rider at that point of the race and no further action was taken. Sunshine Coast 04/05/2018
