When questioned regarding the performance of the mare rider stated his mount failed to travel strongly at any stage of the event and was very disappointing in its run to the line. Rider stated that, outside its first up win, the mare has been disappointing this preparation. When questioned, trainer agreed with the sentiments of rider. Trainer advised he would assess the mare in the coming days before making a determination on whether to continue its current preparation. A post race veterinary examination of the mare did not reveal any abnormality.
