Amanaat	After becoming fractious in the barrier underwent a veterinary examination and was passed suitable to race. Apprentice reported the gelding was quite stirred up in the gates and may not have been suited to the track conditions today. Kid Cruize	Rider questioned re tactics early and middle stages when leading by a considerable margin when challenged by SPLENDID STRYKER - stated instructed to lead and after passing winning post on first occasion attempted to restrain but despite this mount commenced to overrace and was unable to slow the pace. Our Beebee	M. Cahill reported at scale that his mount raced fiercely in the early stages and was more forward than he had anticipated in the early and middle stages.	Doomben	22/04/2017
Helarocity	Raced keenly whilst being restrained in the early stages. Momentarily steadied when crossed by another runner near the 800m. Bumped by another runner approaching the 50m.	Toowoomba	08/04/2017
Hellaroo	Began awkwardly and lost some ground. The trainer’s representative was questioned in regards to the performance of the horse. He stated the horse returned to the enclosure with its tongue over the bit and may have choked down. He also stated the horse may have come to the end of its preparation and that it was his intention to send it for a spell. A post race veterinary examination revealed a slow post-race recovery.
