Frostbite  Raced wide for the majority of the event.Rider q'd re performance - stated that the wide barrier draw made it difficult to obtain a forward position resulting in the gelding settling further back than anticipated. He added that during the middle stages of the event his mount was inclined to hang out and when pressured near the 400m the gelding did not quicken as expected, resenting the kick back and proved disappointing over the concluding stages of the event.  Taroom  26/09/2015 
Kynance Cove  Slow to begin and lost ground after standing awkwardly in the barriers. Bumped heavily with another runner near the 900m. When questioned as to the disappointing performance, apprentice M. Schrapel advised that after being slow to begin, in his opinion the horse failed to handle the track conditions tonight and also did have a tendency to lay in throughout the event, which was to its detriment. All Our Wives  Began awkwardly and shifted out at the start, bumping another runner. When questioned regarding the improved performance of the horse, in contrast to its previous start at Beaudesert, trainer R. Mackay advised that at its last start, after being caught wide, the horse was ridden back in the field, which was to its detriment. He added that the horse is better suited when ridden on the pace, and on its home track under rain-affected conditions today he expected a forward showing from the mare.  Gatton  18/09/2015

Don'tcryargentina  Slow into stride. Stewards questioned trainer in relation to the horse's seemingly improved performance. She stated that as the horse had only been in her stable for 6 days leading into tonight's event, she could offer no tangible explanation for the improved performance.  Toowoomba  3/10/2015 
Girls Command  Jumped with its head in the air at the start and lost significant ground. Raced ungenerously for a considerable distance leaving the 900m whilst being restrained from heels.  Toowoomba  19/09/2015 
It's All Irish  When questioned in regards to the disappointing performance, apprentice H. English stated that the gelding began with the field, however shortly after the start her mount was reluctant to stride out on today's dirt track. She added that it was the gelding's first start on a dirt track, and during the middle stages the gelding got its head up as a result of the kick back and was then reluctant to stride out for the remainder of the event.
