Dougall could offer no explanation other than that the horse has a history of being somewhat inconsistent in its form. Mr. Dougall also noted that the horse has a poor record at this particular track which may have also contributed the horse’s performance today. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed no significant findings.
