Race 1: FGF Bitumen Class 2 H'cap 950m
 
HOPEFULLY GOOD Delayed the start when became fractious in the barriers and was momentarily cast.. After being examined by the veterinary surgeon was declared a late scratching at 12.38 pm on veterinary advice. On the announcement of correct weight, all monies invested on the horse were ordered to be refunded with the following deductions applicable.
 
5 cents in the dollar on the face value of win bets
2 cents in the dollar on the face value of win bets for the place
6 cents in the dollar on the face valuee of 2nd place bets
8 cents in the dollar on the face value of 3rd place bets
 
Trainer A. Bailey was advised that a warning would be placed on the horsees barrier manners. In considering this matter Stewards took into account contributing factors.
 
CRAIGLEA JAZZ - Slow to begin.
 
MAGNITUDE LAD - Crowded for room and steadied near the 600m.
 
STONE PHILOSPHER - Shifted in slightly near the 600m and hampered another runner. Rider D. Evans was advised to exercise more care. Laid in in the home straight when placed under pressure.
 
CRAIGLEA ALDI - Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
TRIPLE GOLD - Slow to begin.. Following this race apprentice E. Cass fell ill, was examined by the ambulance officers and stood down from riding for the remainder of the day. Rider replacements were made as per the Stewards Summary Sheet. Ms Cass was advised she must provide a medical clearance prior to her next race ride.
 
 
Race 2: New Volkswagen Golf Now At Westco Volkswagen Class 6 Plate 1250mm
 
MAN AROUND TOWN Slow to begin.. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
PINYARDA Slow to begin. Raced wide in the early stages.
 
REAL WARRIOR Held up and unable to improve for a short distance leaving the 400m, and shifted out, bumping another runner.. Shifted out near the 100m and inconvenienced another runner.. Rider R. Thompson was advised to show greater care in similar circumstances..

Race 3: Plaster Metal Cladding QTIS 3yo H'cap 1250mm
 
LIDDELL Slow to begin.
 
ELITE JET Slow to begin.
 
WICKED MISTRESS Began awkwardly and made the 1000m turn awkwardly and was steadied when inconvenienced by another runner.. Had a tendency to hang out for a short distance thereafter.
 
ROSE CLIP Shifted in, crowding another runner near the 1000m.. Jockey N. Callow was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
 
 
Race 4: CSF Industries BenchMark 60 H'cap 1600mm
 
OUR KAPOWW - Jockey A. Coome replaced the indisposed apprentice E. Cass when no apprentice was available.
 
STANDFORD Slow into stride.
 
GLOBAL GURU Slow into stride.
 
WE JUST LOVE IT Slow into stride.
 
PHANTOM SOX Raced wide in the early stages before improving forward to race outside the leader near the 1000m.
 
CLEVFILLY Shifted in, bumping the running rail near the 1000m and became unbalanced.. Made the 800m crossing awkwardly.
 
AWESOME SIGHT Held up and unable to improve rounding the home turn until the leaving the 200m when shifted wide and finished the race off strongly.
 
 
Race 5: Australasian Point Of Sale Solutions Class 1 H'cap 1250mm
 
MONASHEE LASS Due to a misunderstanding, A. Thomson was declared as the rider of the horse when dually engaged and was replaced by W. DDAvila when no apprentice was available.

 
NATEEM ESPRIT Blundered on jumping away.
 
MISC Slow to begin. Over-raced in the early stages.. Bumped near the 50m..  When asked to explain the performance, rider S. Wilson stated that after being slow to begin, the mare commenced to over-race in the early stages, however, in his opinion was disappointing.. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities and a swab sample was taken.
 
DECODED Over-raced in the early stages. Improved onto heels and shifted out near the 1000m.
 
WHOOS A STAR Slow to begin. Improved onto heels and steadied near the 1000m.
 
SNOWY MOET Bounded in the air and lost ground at the start. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
ONE FOR THE TON Slow to begin. Improved onto heels near the 1000m and was steadied. Had difficulty obtaining clear running for the majority of the straight.. Shifted out near the 50m and bumped another runner.
 
LADY OF DARKNESS Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
MISHANI REDMAN Raced wide for the majority of the race. Held up for clear running from entering the home straight until the 200m.                                                                                                                                                                                
 
SHEES A RINGO Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
 
Race 6: Oceana Walk Arcade Class 3 Plate 1400mm
 
DEVASTATING RHYTHM
Trainer J. Petersen was fined the sum of $500 under AR140A(1) in that he presented that gelding without its allocated lead bag requiring to be resaddled.
 
CAMPANULA Jockey S. Wilson was declared as the rider of the horse when no apprentice was available to replace the indisposed apprentice E. Cass.
 
ROYAL SUPREME Slow to begin.
 
HITCH EM UP Over-raced in the early stages. Held p for clear running for the majority of the straight and went to the line without being fully tested.
 
RYLEEES SAGA Shifted out under pressure near the 100m and bumped another runner.
 
SPACE TIME Bumped near the 100m.
 
BRAVE BOW Raced in restricted room near the 400m and was steadied. Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
FLYING ONE MORE Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
GOOD CATCH Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
 
Race 7: Babinda Electrics Lightning Open H'cap 950mm
 
PALTINUM TYCOON Delayed the start when proved difficult to load. Trainer M. Lee was advised that a warning would be placed on the geldinggs barrier manners.
 
CHOI OI The start was further delayed when the horse became fractious in the barriers and was momentarily cast. The horse was examined by the veterinary surgeon and declared a late scratching at 4.21 pm with the following deductions applicable.

KHADIJA Slow to begin.
 
THE LYNCHES Began awkwardly and shifted in, bumping another runner.
 
MUKADDAMAH SON Bumped by another runner on jumping.. Shifted wider leaving the 800m to improve.
 
GREAT PRETENDER Raced wide in the early stages. Inconvenienced near the 300m when racing in restricted room between HOT SAGA and RANKED, which shifted in after initially shifting out.. Rider J. Lambie was cautioned over his use of the whip on that gelding prior to the 100m.
 
RANKED Shifted in near the 300m and inconvenienced another runner. Rider W. DDAvila, was severely reprimanded and advised to show greater care in similar circumstances.
 
PINK STILETTO Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
MAJOR MAJOR Raced wide for the majority of the race.
