Race 1:  The Six River Classic Class B Handicap - 1100 metres
 
DANE CHEVAL, ELDIYM and TERETTO were officially declared late scratchings at 9.06am due to no available riders.
 
BARBOUGE- Contact with another runner at the start.
 
SNIP’N’DRIFT- Contact with another runner at the start.
 
FLYING FERO- Began awkwardly, made contact with another runner and lost some ground.
 
TYCOON MEG- Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
WHISKEY LAD- Raced wide with cover. On return to scale, it was observed to have bled from both nostrils. As this was the first occasion, trainer was advised that the gelding was unable to race for 3 months or be trained for 2 months and must pass a 1000 metres gallop prior to racing.
 
Race 2:  Carnarvon Arcadia Maiden Plate- 1200 metres
 
SPLENDABA- Began awkwardly. Over the concluding stages, shifted out under pressure.
 
BONINO- Lay out and raced wide around the home turn, inclined to shift out under pressure in the straight. Trainer reported he may remove the blinkers and add winkers for future starts.
 
Race 3: King and Company Class 3 Plate- 1300 metres

MILITARY LADY- Rider reported the mare knuckled badly on jumping and had failed to stretch out for the remainder of the race. As a result, he did not place the horse under pressure throughout.  A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
 
CHATARA- Raced 3 wide without cover until near the 700 metres.
 
MYBOYOLIVER- Subsequent to the race, commenced to tie up. Veterinary treatment was administered.
 
Jockey J Rudd was reprimanded for use of his whip after passing the winning post. In determining penalty, Stewards were mindful that he had no whip related breaches in the previous 12 months.
 
Race 4: Central Highlands Sapphire Bracelet Open Handicap- 1300 metres  
 
FASTNET FLYER- Jumped out, made contact with another and lost some ground.
 
GIRLS AWAY- Contacted by another runner at the start.
 
GOWER- Raced keenly during the early stages.
 
BUTCHER BOY- Slow to begin. Tailed the field throughout and shifted out in the straight. A post-race veterinary inspection revealed no significant abnormality. Trainer will be advised that the gelding must trial competitively prior to its next race start.
 
Race 5: View of the Peaks BM 50 Handicap- 1615 metres
 
RED RADA- Rider reported that the gelding inclined to hang in throughout.
 
AARHUS- After being in a forward position, commenced to lose ground from near the 500 metres. A post-race veterinary inspection did not reveal any abnormality.
 
MUNJIZ- Near the 400 metres, had to be steadied when INACTION shifted in. Apprentice E Bell was advised to exercise more care.
