Race 1: CHANNEL 7 MAIDEN H'CAP – 1350M
 
The start was delayed when MISS JALAPENO broke through the barriers, was quickly restrained, returned to the barriers, underwent a veterinary examination and was cleared to take its place in the field.
 
NETZACH – Raced three wide with cover throughout. Had a tendency to shift out under pressure shortly after straightening.
 
LADY LIMELIGHT – Raced greenly approaching the 800m and hung out after passing the 700m.
 
MISS JALAPENO – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be exhibiting an abnormal respiratory noise. Connections were advised that the results of an endoscopic examination must be produced prior to the horse racing again.
 
SECURENCY – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
BEST OF PLUCK – Had to alter course and shift wider on the track at the 300m to avoid the heels of NETZACH.
 
Race 2: SCHWEPPES F&M CLASS 2 H'CAP – 1100M
 
FAINT BLAZE – Fractious in the barriers and then began awkwardly.
 
PRONTEZZA – Began awkwardly, losing ground and then was ridden forward to obtain the lead passing the 900m.
 
APPLAUSE A STAR – Fractious in the barriers.
 
Race 3: SKY RACING QTIS 3YO MAIDEN PLATE – 1200M
 
DAINTY STEPPER – Raced greenly approaching the first turn.
 
HOOKED A BEAUTY – Began awkwardly and bumped another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to have mild heat stress.
 
PANDORA'S TALE – Began awkwardly and shifted in, bumping another runner. Raced greenly and overraced when in a trailing position rounding the turn at the 900m, having to be steadied away from heels, and then raced three wide for the remainder of the event.
 
WHAT A SMILE – Hampered between runners on jumping.
 
Race 4: SIRROMET MAIDEN PLATE – 1680M
 
HUNGRY LIKE A WOLF – Began awkwardly and shifted out.
 
SHORT CHANGED – Hung out after passing the 600m. N. Tomizawa was reminded of his obligations regarding the use of the whip on a horse out of contention.
 
SQUIDINKUM – Forced wider on the track approaching the 400m.
 
ELMO'S FIRE – Shifted out approaching the 400m, forcing another runner wider on the track. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had overreached and quartered its near fore heel.
 
IRISH HEART – Hampered between runners on jumping and lost ground.
 
ACHILTIBUIE – Began awkwardly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
 
DUPORCHE – C. Eaton was reminded of her obligations regarding the use of the whip on a horse out of contention. Trainer M. Hemmings' representative was advised that a warning would be placed on the horse for its poor performance.
 
FRENCH WARRIOR – Began awkwardly and shifted in. M. Shimodaira was reminded of his obligations regarding the use of the whip on a horse out of contention.
 
Race 5: XXXX SUMMER C,G&E CLASS 2 H'CAP – 1100M
 
AMERICAN HERO – Wanted to lay out rounding the home turn.
 
SOLTINHO LAD – As N. Evans was injured, M. Hellyer was substituted as rider. Began awkwardly and bumped another runner. Wanted to lay out rounding the home turn. Had to be steadied at the 200 when awkwardly placed at the heels of CHIPEWYAN.
 
CHIPEWYAN – Began awkwardly. Approaching the 200m was forced wide by MYSTIC FORCES, which shifted out.
 
Race 6: RAY WHITE IPSWICH RATINGS BAND 0 – 65 H'CAP – 1680M
 
SIPPIN'BUNDY – Overraced in the early stages.
 
TUNE OUT – Slow to begin. Shifted out three wide to improve passing the 1300m and remained racing three wide for the remainder of the event.
 
REDSERA – Broke down in the off hind pastern passing the 400m and was euthanased on humane grounds.
 
BLACKJACK PRINCESS – Forced wider by another runner approaching the 400m.
 
Race 7: THE QLD TIMES CLASS 1 H'CAP – 1350M
 
OCEAN CITY – Began awkwardly and bumped another runner.
 
GLEN ORD – Slow to begin. Wanted to lay in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
MALKARA – Wanted to lay in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
ALL HYPE – Began awkwardly and made heavy contact with REMISSIO. Raced three wide in the early and middle stages.
 
DAWN FIGHTER – Began awkwardly and shifted out, bumping another runner.
 
MANHATTAN MUSE – Raced three wide with cover throughout. When questioned regarding the horse's performance, jockey J. Lloyd stated that the mare travelled reasonably well until a point passing the 400m when it was shifted wider by another runner trying to improve to its inside and from that point until the 300m the mare dropped the bit and failed to respond to his urgings, however over the final stages maintained a run to the line. He added that in his opinion the horse raced greenly and that he had recommended to connections that winkers be put back on the mare for its next start.
 
SHEZA HOTTI – Raced three wide with cover throughout.
 
REMISSIO – Hampered by another runner on jumping.
