RACE 1: LAURA BRACELET CLASS B HANDICAP 1200m:
 
HEART OF TIER – Slow to begin.
 
MISS MARSEILLE – Rider S. Wilson advised Stewards following the race that in his opinion the mare failed to handle todays track conditions.
 
RACE 2: PIONEER CUP BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1200m:
 
SMOOCH – Slow to begin.
 
CAMPANULA – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
DRAGON ROCKET – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
Race 3: PATRON BILL WARE QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1000m:
 
Due to no available riders, MR PALOMINO, MISHANI MYSTERY and TEXAS GAL were all declared late scratchings at 1.40pm.
 
CHARLIE ROCKET – As no other rider was available, Stewards granted permission for   jockey J. Dickinson to ride the gelding 2kg over its allotted weight.   
 
SAINTLY ROYALE – Delayed the start when proved difficult to load. Trainer J. Ryan, was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding’s barrier manners. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
BAWAARDI ROCKET – Delayed the start when proved difficult to load. Trainer J. Manzelmann, was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding’s barrier manners.
 
DROPPER ROCKET – Attempted to buck shortly after the start, Trainer J. Manzelmann, was                      advised the gelding must trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to its next race start.
RACE 4: LAURA 10,000 BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1000m:
 
ROSE OF CLARE – Blundered on jumping away. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
ROBBERS ROOST – Slow to begin.
 
RACE 5: 2017 LAURA CUP WEIGHT FOR AGE 1450m:
 
 
GREAT PRETENDER – Slow to begin then crowded for room shortly after the start. Raced wide in the middle stages.
 
WILL HE FLY – Shifted out shortly after the start crowding another runner.
