Race 1: SOUTHERN CROSS AUSTEREO ROCKHAMPTON QTIS  2YO H’CAP – 1080M
 
DUAL PERSONALITY – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Severely checked near 900m. Lay out rounding 600m turn.
 
CRAIGLEA OMEGA – Shortly after the start the saddle shifted to its near side placing rider Z. White at a disadvantage for the remainder of the race. Shifted in abruptly near the 900m making heavy contact with DUAL PERSONALITY and became unbalanced.      
 
Race 2: RUNDLE CONSTRUCTION BENCHMARK 65 H’CAP – 1600M
 
OUTBACK PIRATE – Was late to the enclosure due to shifting its off front plate requiring farrier attention. Bumped at the start by another runner.
 
HALFBLOOD PRINCE – Bumped by another runner at the start.
 
WORTHY HERO – Began awkwardly. Trainer J. Wehlow was questioned in regards to the inconsistent form of the gelding, after hearing all submissions and acting under the provisions of LR.25. Mr Wehlow was advised that should WORTHY HERO continue to race inconsistently further action may be considered against the gelding.
 
 
 
STYLISH LUCK – Slow to begin. Commenced to over-race shortly after the start and steadied from heels near the 1200m and again near the 600m throwing its head in the air.
 
KING MAX – Due to the slow early pace was inclined to over-race near the 1200m and was checked from heels.
 
ATARARTZI – A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a slow   recovery rate.
 
Race 3: RAY WHITE GRACEMERE QTIS 3YO MAIDEN  H’CAP – 1200M
 
SWEET NOTE – Slow to begin.
 
CAPE HALIFAX – After being initially slow to begin, was then inconvenienced shortly after when tightened for room. Hampered near the 300m. Rider J. Stephens pleaded guilty to two charges under AR137A (5) (i) in that he used his whip in a consecutive manner prior to the 100m and further under AR137A (5) (ii) that he used his whip on more than five occasions prior to the 100m. J. Stephens licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of 8 days on each charge to be served concurrently and to commence midnight Saturday 17 December and to expire midnight Sunday 25 December. Mr Stephens was advised of his right of review of this decision.  
 
AZIRAP – Began awkwardly and hampered shortly after.
 
RELNINO – Began awkwardly and shifted in.
 
SHADOW BOLT – Steadied near 50m when attempting a narrow run. Inconvenienced shortly after the winning post.
 
RADHIKA – Tendency to lay in leaving the 100m and passing the winning post.
 
UNO KATY – Shifted out under pressure near the 300m hampering another runner. Rider Q. Krogh was advised to exercise greater care in similar circumstances. Raced three wide through-out without cover.  
 
Race 4: WENDY MULRY TRAVEL MAIDEN H’CAP – 1300M
 
EASY AS PYE – Slow to begin. Raced three wide for the majority of the race.
 
BAYSIDE BANDIT – Slow to begin.
 
THREE HENRYS – Shifted out under pressure approaching the winning post brushing MONACO DREAM.
 
MONACO DREAM – Raced three wide without cover. Shifted in under pressure leaving the 100m brushing THREE HENRYS.
 
 
 
 
Race 5: JP & DA JENKINS PTY LTD CLASS 3 PLATE – 1100M
 
METEOR’S MAN – Slow to begin.
 
KIPLING – Slow to begin.
 
DIPPED IN GOLD – Began very awkwardly and lost ground resulting in its rider becoming unbalanced.
THE CLANG AFFAIR – Shifted out under pressure approaching the 50m clipping the off hind heel of LUCIFER’S ANGEL which shifted in slightly under pressure resulting in THE CLANG AFFAIR being steadied and shift inwards. Raced wide for the majority of the race. Rider N. Summers was advised to show greater care.
 
LUCIFER’S ANGEL – Shifted in slightly under pressure near the 50m resulting in THE CLANG AFFAIR which shifted out slightly clipping that runners off hind heel resulting in LUCIFER’S ANGEL taking an awkward stride. Rider R. Payne was advised to show greater care.
 
GLORY CITY – Raced wide without cover for the majority of the race. 
 
Race 6: PATLAW SECURITIES PTY LTD OPEN H’CAP – 1200M
 
LEGAL PROCEDURE – Slow to begin.
 
WILDBEAST – Slow into stride. Raced three wide without cover.
 
CASINO THOUGHTS – Slow into stride. Disappointed for a run near the 500m between MOTORISED and GYPSY SECRET which shifted out to obtain clear running.
 
SPORTING PAGE – Late on course due to transportation difficulties. Was examined by the veterinary surgeon and cleared to start. Lay in near the 800m and steadied from heels. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
GYPSY SECRET – Shifted out near the 500m to obtain clear running hampering another runner. Rider Q. Krogh was advised to show greater care when shifting ground.
 
MOTORISED – Crowded for room near the 300m.
 
MISHANI GLADIATOR – Shifted out under pressure leaving the 200m.
 
TERMS OF TRADE – Shifted out under pressure over the final 200m shifting very wide on the track. Trainer M. Tremble was advised a warning would be placed on the geldings racing manners.  
 
 
 
 
 
Race 7: TONY MADDEN ARCHITECTS PTY LTD CLASS 1 H’CAP – 1400M 

As L. Attard was going to be in excess of 2kg over the allotted weight and no other rider was available DELANCIA was declared a late scratching at 3.54pm. L. Attard was fined the sum of $200.
 
LADY STIRLING – Slow to begin.
 
RUFFY ROAD – Shifted out at the start.
 
DANE SLUGGER – Was tightened for room at the start.
