SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT- Race 5 Rockhampton 19 January, 2017

Become a Club 150 Member Class 1 Handicap - 1200 metres

Jockey D. Hayse pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under A.R. 137(a) in that he used insufficient effort to prevent THE CATHOLIC GIRL from shifting inwards immediately after the winning post when insufficiently clear of ARNHEM BEAUTY (S. Sheargold), resulting in that horse being tightened and checked, shifted out causing SIR TRUSTICE (Jockey D. Evans) to take action to shift out from the heels of ARNHEM BEAUTY. Jockey Hayse's licence to ride in races was suspended for 9 days, to commence at midnight on 7 February 2017, up to and including 16 February 2017. Stewards afforded leniency on penalty due to Jockey Hayse’s guilty plea and significantly clean riding record.
