As apprentice E. Cass was unable to claim down to her riding weight in Races 4 (CRAIGLEA CETINA) and 5 (MAURIZIO) she was fined the sum of $300.

SIMPLY MARVELLOUS Ð Began awkwardly and made contact with its outside barrier gate.
MUST BE OBEYED Ð Apprentice A. Thomson dropped her whip near the 250m.
SEBRINGS DRAMA Ð Apprentice J. Woodhouse was unable to claim down to his riding weight and was fined the sum of $200.

TWICE THE STYLE Ð The bit lifter broke whilst the horse was parading behind the barriers and was unable to be replaced, resulting in the horse racing without that advertised gear. The nearside winker became detached leaving the 300m.
OUR UNIVERSAL STAR Ð Raced three wide without cover. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be sore in the off fore knee. Trainer R. Nelson was advised that he must provide a veterinary clearance before the horse is permitted to race again.
TERETTO Ð Attempted to buck shortly after the start and was restrained. Trainer J. Wehlow was advised that the horse must trial to the satisfaction of stewards before being permitted to race again.
Race 3: ELEGANT KITCHENS & JOINERY CLASS 3 H'CAP Ð 1000M
OURBOYBYRON Ð Raced four wide without cover for the majority of the event.
WE FOUND IT Ð Put its head down as the start was effected and lost ground. Improved on to heels rounding the home turn and had to alter course back to the inside near the 300m to obtain clear running.
VEE EIGHT SIXTY Ð Raced wide for the majority of the event.
Race 4: BYRNES HOLDINGS QTIS 2YO MAIDEN H'CAP Ð 1200M
CRAIGLEA RAPTURE Ð Attempted to buck shortly after the start and took no competitive part in the race. Trainer K. Johnston was advised that the colt must trial to the satisfaction of stewards before being permitted to race again.
CRAIGLEA TICKER Ð Slow to begin. Raced three wide without cover for the majority of the event.
SMOKING LADY Ð Fractious in the barriers prior to the start. Inconvenienced shortly after the start by another runner which shifted in.
ROCKSTAR ROCKET Ð Began awkwardly.
