MAKE A MILLION Shortly after the start attempted to buck for several strides before settling into normal stride.

RHYTHM NATION was a late scratching at 12:30pm as there was no rider available to ride the allotted weight.
 
GO SAI Was fractious in the barrier prior to starting then reared as the gates opened causing the gelding to be slow away, then travelled wide for the majority.
 
BUSH CAVIAR Travelled wide for the majority.
 
ALBERTIQUE Travelled wide in the early and middle stages.
 
GREEN LIGHT -- Slow to begin and travelled wide for the majority.

Race 3: ROBERT BLACKET MEMORIAL QTIS RATINGS BAND 0 - 50 HANDICAP - 1000 metres
 
NAYTELLRHI WORLD was a late scratching at 12:30pm as there were no riders available.
 
DIAMOND RACER Slow into stride and travelled wide for the majority.
 
DEFYING LUCK Travelled wide for the majority.
 
 
Race 4: BROWN & HURLEY CLASS B HANDICAP - 1400 metres
 
Jockey S. Galvin was the rider of DENLAGO and M Haley was the rider of RUBIDUS.
 
SOLO MIO Slow to begin and slow into stride.
 
MUCHAS CORONAS A post-race inspection revealed the mare to have bled from both nostrils. As this was the first occasion, Trainer was advised that the mare would not be permitted to race for 3 months, and must gallop over 1000 metres prior to being permitted to race.
 
Race 5: CAMPBELL HIGGINSON TOWN PLANNING BM 65 HANDICAP - 1400 metres     
 
Jockey D. Ballard was permitted to ride BLETCHY BOY 4kg overweight as there was no other rider available.
