Completed

Construction of two separated Horse tie-up stalls buildings, providing 50 tie-up stalls in each (100 stalls altogether), with a new Polytrack type sand paddock exercise area located in-between both buildings.

The new tie-up stalls will replace a large number of existing tie-up stalls (approx. 70), due to their age and dilapidated condition. The new tie-up stalls are connected to the existing adjacent facilities by new 3m wide reinforced concrete horse pathways.

Located on the stalls entry/exit, 4 new washbays are also provided as part of this project. The roofs to both buildings project sufficiently away from the stalls themselves, to reduce any impact to the horse caused by direct sunlight, when stationed within the stall whilst also providing cover to viewing Patrons. Both new tie-up stalls buildings are services with insulated roofs, roof mounted fans and one building is provisioned with misting facilities. To enable safe Patron viewing of horses, equine fencing surrounds the new facilities to provide suitable protection to patrons.
