R3 2nd Leg:          5-10
R4 3rd Leg:          2
R5 4th Leg:          1-7-10

RACE ONE

OUTLAW FELLA (3)
was buried away from an inside 2nd line gate last start and was running into dead-ends all the way up the stretch. That followed a tough 2nd to MIND THE WIRE and 3 back he was luckless in the run. He can press forward here to make his own luck and take some catching.

JACKAROO BROMAC (1) will be tightened from his run on Tues when 2nd up from a freshen and beaten under 10m behind JOYS A BABE. A head 2nd to SMOOTH SHOWGIRL when resuming via the passing lane, he can take similar tactics here and be taking the closing shot.

CONSTANTLYSIDEWAYS (5) is having a consistent season and wasn’t far away again last start when taken back from gate 7 to find position and then closing strongly. Never far from the action he can look to find a spot and will thereabouts once again.

JOYS A BABE (8) found her race here on Tues when able to dictate from the front and bring up her 25th Albion Park victory at her 75th run at the track. She will need a slice of luck from the gate but will be closing hard.

SELECTIONS: OUTLAW FELLA (3), JACKAROO BROMAC (1), CONSTANTLYSIDEWAYS (5), JOYS A BABE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: OUTLAW FELLA (3) to win

RACE TWO

PSYCHEDELIC (11) has the tough gate to overcome in what shapes a tricky contest. A winner at his past 2 including the heat for this final when cutting the breeze and ripping home a sharp closing panel he will be looking to track into the contest and is versatile enough to feature.

ZARAS DELIGHT (6) will be fitter following the heat run where she was 2nd up from a break and from the pocket trail held the silver behind SOMEPARTYSOMEWHERE. From the gate she can look to roll forward to find position and will be fighting hard in the stretch.

SOMEPARTYSOMEWHERE (8) will need plenty of luck from this gate with his best performances coming when able to dictate. Straight on the pegs from gate 2 in the heat he was never in danger to score a 3m victory. If able to see space in time he is some hope but place chances appear best.

JANGO FETT (2) launched forward from gate 6 in the heat but with no lead was able to slot in for the trail. Never really extended he was only 7m from the winner PSCYHEDELIC and with the speed to find the front here is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: PSYCHEDELIC (11), ZARAS DELIGHT (6), SOMEPARTYSOMEWHERE (8), JANGO FETT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: PSYCHEDELIC (11) each-way

RACE THREE

GANGSTER BOY (5) is racing in great touch and since landing a tough win 4 starts back has been runner-up at his next 3 in succession with 2 of those when beaten a head and a half-head. He loves to scrap it out with his opponents and getting in the fight and from this gate will be throwing the punches in the run and can land the knockout here
SMOOTH SHOWGIRL (10) looks best placed of the off-pace runners and will be watching the action unfold before coming with the closing shot. Winning here 3 starts back when coming with the last shot, she trailed into the race nicely here last start to arrive for a solid win. Look for her sailing home.

BETTABE PERFECT (9) graduated to the FFA ranks with his win last week when finishing strongly from the running line to score a 3m victory. Finding position from gate 6 he came with a well-judged run to arrive for the win. With the tempo on he will be closing strongly again.

FEEL THE COURAGE (1) was a winner here 6 starts back when leading all the way over the mile from gate 5. In 4 of his 5 runs since that win he has started from the 2nd line yet his efforts have been solid on each occasion, never more than 7m from the winner. From the gate he can dictate and go close.

SELECTIONS: GANGSTER BOY (5), SMOOTH SHOWGIRL (10), BETTABE PERFECT (9), FEEL THE COURAGE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-5-9-10

RACE FOUR

GET IN THE GROOVE (2)
aims up for the hat-trick in a 7 day period and lands a good alley to achieve the feat. Winning a mares qualifier last Sat night in good fashion when working wide off the track, she backed it up with an all-the-way-win here on Tues. She can force the issue and prove too good.

SWEET AS (1) rolled forward from gate 5 to score in a mares qualifier 3 starts back and setting a career best win rate in the process. In 2 runs since the win she has not had the best of luck in transit and with the improved gate will be ready for the closing play.

CASINO TOMMY (6) has found his rhythm and been top 3 in 7 of his past 8. Last time out he worked hard in the run when facing the breeze and was still only 4m from the winner GEORGIA GRACE. He can issue a strong challenge in this.

WITH AUTHORITY (10) was rewarded here last week when finishing strongly from the running line to open his band assessment. His closing fractions were strong and with the likely solid tempo from the front here will be working home strongly again.

SELECTIONS: GET IN THE GROOVE (2), SWEET AS (1), CASINO TOMMY (6), WITH AUTHORITY (10)
SUGGESTED BET: GET IN THE GROOVE (2) to win

RACE FIVE

THE SHADY ONE (10) has a tricky gate to negotiate here but there could be plenty of early and mid-race fireworks that will bring his closing sprint into play. Luckless last week when buried 3 back along the pegs that followed a good 3rd to SMOOTH SHOWGIRL when resuming from a freshen. Look for him swooping late.

FEEL THE FAITH (1) has been freshened since her last outing when beaten a head behind FIREBBY when hitting the line strongly. Winless for over 12 months now, she gets the options from the gate and can feature here.

ANOTHER BROADWAY (7) has found the right tune and shoots for a hat-trick of wins. Following the free-wheeling DON BOSTON last start he popped the pocket and forged clear to win by 14m making it successive victories by the same margin. He can apply the acid and be hard to hold out.

DON BOSTON (8) loves to roll along in front and he did that last week and it was only ANOTHER BROADWAY that had the sitting shot that was able to get past. He can get a good trip here and has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: THE SHADY ONE (10), FEEL THE FAITH (1), ANOTHER BROADWAY (7), DON BOSTON (8)
SUGGESTED BET: THE SHADY ONE (10) to win

RACE SIX

PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (2)
couldn’t find position last start here on Tues and was then closing well from back in the pack behind GET IN THE GROOVE. He has struggled to land a gate in recent starts and with the advantage here, he might be able to squeeze in behind the leader. Either way he looks to get his chance here.

CIRCLE LINE (10) has been racing well in stronger company than he meets here and with even luck in transit can look to make a closing play. An all the way winner 4 starts back when sprinting the last 800m, he was game to the wire 2 back when rundown by STATEMENT MADE.

WEEDONS EXPRESS (1) was a winner in a similar race 6 starts back when able to find the pegs from gate 5 and then hang on for a tidy win. Drawn wide gates his past 2 starts he lands the ace advantage here and will be looking to control the tempo and grip on.

RIVERLEIGH JEFF (8) could find himself buried in the run however he does his best work late and will be looking for the gaps to issue the closing challenge. A winner 5 starts back of a similar race when closing out strongly, look for him in the closing stages.

SELECTIONS: PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (2), CIRCLE LINE (10), WEEDONS EXPRESS (1), RIVERLEIGH JEFF (8)
SUGGESTED BET: PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

TOMEARA (3) has been doing a superb job from tough gates and looks to find a nice target with an improved gate. Last start he found running line cover from gate 6 and hit the line strongly to get within a half-head of the winner BET IM SPECIAL. Breezing to win 4 starts back, he can find position easily here and gets his chance.

SAMS A CHAMP (1) has had 3 runs back from a break and 2nd up finished best over the 1780m at Redcliffe to score by a half-neck over BAZZAS ART and STIRLING WILLIAM. He was doing his best work late from what looked a hopeless position last start and from the gate is the danger.

RUATO BAY (8) will be sweating on Sam holding top and if that scenario eventuates he will be closing hard along the lane. A winner at 2 of his past 3 at Redcliffe along the passing lane he will be coiled and awaiting the space.

ROCKNROLL MUSIC (6) has been runner-up at 3 of his past 4 outings here in Sat night company with the latest when closing in good style behind WITH AUTHORITY. He has chased well his past 2 and if able to find position can be working home.

SELECTIONS: TOMEARA (3), SAMS A CHAMP (1), RUATO BAY (8), ROCKNROLL MUSIC (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

FIRE ONE (2)
was an all the way winner here 3 starts back from this same gate when controlling the tempo to score by a head. She followed that with a 2nd to THE MUSE over the 2138m trip in a mares qualifier and freshened for this, she looks set to take them all the way.

SKYLARHAIN (1) worked home strongly from the 2nd line in a C1 Rising Stars Final 4 starts back behind ONLY ONE PROMISE. Last start she was working home well from the peg-line and with the cosy trip here can look to take a closing shot.

ROCKNROLL AMBER (12) gets no favours from the gate and will need to work into the contest at some stage. She can do some work in her races and last start was cutting the breeze when mid-field behind RUATO BAY. She hasn’t been far away in these mares qualifiers and has some hope again.

ROCKONBYE (8) will likely be buried in the run here but with the cosy trip can look for the shortcuts and be swooping late. Beaten 2m and 2.5m at her past 2 against the mares, she will be right there.

SELECTIONS: FIRE ONE (2), SKYLARHAIN (1), ROCKNROLL AMBER (12), ROCKONBYE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi trifecta 1-2-8-12

RACE NINE

JACK HAMMER (3)
will strip fitter following 1 run back from a freshen where he went to Redcliffe and held his ground behind WATTLEBANK FLYER with nothing really making any ground in the run. Only beaten 2m behind WRITTEN IN RED 3 starts back he can settle handy and land an open race.

JESSICA AMBER (2) looked to take them all the way over this trip in mares company 3 starts back and was grabbed late and only 1.5m from the winner. With good early speed she can take up the running and will be gripping on.

MASTER MONTANA (9) comes out of the same race as JACK HAMMER at Redcliffe where he followed the pegs home to grab the bronze. He should enjoy a nice trail through at the start and has place claims.

ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (5) found his race to end a long run of outs when rolling forward from gate 5 at Redcliffe and once in control held them off. Forced to work too hard last start in the breeze, he can find the podium here.

SELECTIONS: JACK HAMMER (3), JESSICA AMBER (2), MASTER MONTANA (9), ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

MISS MONEYBAGS (2)
was looking to stay undefeated in the APG heat and she was looming up with 250m to go when breaking gait and galloping wildly. It was an uncharacteristic error as she had been clinical in her 3 victories and she can bounce back.

MAWYN NO REGRETS (3) has missed the money just once in 5 career starts and that came when 4th in the Paleface Adios Classic from a 2nd line gate and only beaten 4m behind MISS MONEYBAGS. She is a talented filly in her own right and can challenge.

TIMELESS APPEAL (5) was on debut in the APG heat when finishing 6m from the winner THATS BETTOR. It was a tidy debut and from the benefit of that run has some claims again.

SELECTIONS: MISS MONEYBAGS (2), MAWYN NO REGREST (3), TIMELESS APPEAL (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MISS MONEYBAGS (2) to win
