RACE TWO

PELOSI (5) speared out to find the front from gate 5 here last time out and after taking them through the middle stages in a steady pace, was able to rip home the closing panel in a slick 27.4 to take the prize. A smart winner on debut, she looks to have the class to take this out.

TOANUI SPIRIT (1) lands her best gate since arriving in Qld and can look to take full advantage of the improvement. Last start she found the line in good order when 3rd to PELOSI and her run in the Breeders Classic was a nice effort when 5m from the winner AMAYA BECOMES. The gate helps.

A RAINBOW DELIGHT (7) has been runner-up in both career starts to date and will need to negotiate the wide alley here. Using the passing lane, she couldn’t run down PELOSI and place appears best.

MERAVIGLIA (6) will take good benefit from her latest start when 2nd up and proving too smart in taking them all the way. Her 1st up run was a tidy effort when beaten 3m and she can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: PELOSI (5), TOANUI SPIRIT (1), A RAINBOW DELIGHT (7), MERAVIGLIA (6)
SUGGESTED BET: PELOSI (5) to win

RACE THREE

CHERRYS THE BEST (3) has missed a cheque once in 8 appearances this season as she continues to race in consistent fashion. Buried and keen in the run in the Triad Final last start she found the line nicely to grab 2nd. Only beaten a neck 3 starts back, this looks her chance to cash-in.

TIMELESS APPEAL (5) took on the Triad Consolation last start and after working away from the inside early, went in to attack mode to take up the running. Wilting with 400m to run she was well beaten. A 1st up winner 3 starts back, her 2nd up run had merit and back to the mile looks to suit.

NEWMERELLA LADYKAY (6) was driven for luck after landing a horror gate in the Triad Final and did well to finish mid-field. Only beaten a neck 2 starts back she will find this more suitable.

FEEL LIKE DANCIN (4) was well-supported in the market here on Tues when finishing 8m from the winner ZARAS ALL GOOD. Only grabbed on the line 2 starts back, she will be in for the fight here.

SELECTIONS: CHERRYS THE BEST (3), TIMELESS APPEAL (5), NEWMERELLA LADYKAY (6), FEEL LIKE DANCIN (4)
SUGGESTED BET: CHERRYS THE BEST (3) to win

RACE FOUR

PARAVANI (7)
was chasing home from the 2nd line last start and the run was full of merit when attacking hard to be 3m from the winner. 2 starts back he took them all the way from gate 4 in running a career best mile and despite coming up with the extreme alley, can look to put them away.

LISA LINCOLN (5) resumes from a freshen and was last seen as a beaten fav when only 3m from the winner over her less preferred 2138m trip. An all the way winner over the mile 3 starts back, she can look to use her early speed and if able to cross without burning too much fuel can be fighting on.

HAPPY FEELINGS (6) pressed ahead to find the front in the mares Triad last start and it was only RED CHARMER that was able to get past her. Fitter for the run after being 2nd up from a freshen, she has claims.

DAPPER (2) returns from a break and can look to make the most of an improved gate. Pressing ahead to find the pegs 4 starts back and score, he has been beaten by the barriers his past 3.

SELECTIONS: PARAVANI (7), LISA LINCOLN (5), HAPPY FEELINGS (6), DAPPER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: PARAVANI (7) to win

RACE FIVE

JOVIAL JULIE (10) started from gate 1 in the 3YO Fillies Triad final last start and from the pocket trail held on for the bronze behind the star SMART AS CAMM BE who ripped home in 27.1 from the front. A winner at her past 3 in succession- 1 of those dead heating-, she can take an open race.

TORQUE WITH ESTEEM (1) found them a bit too slippery in the Triad Final last start where she was 1st up in 7 weeks. Taking good benefit from the run, she lands the perfect gate here to get a soft trip and with a good closing sprint will be coiled and ready to strike.

MAJOR SEASCAPE (2) resumes from a spell and has been to the trials once to prepare for the return. His last start was a sound effort from gate 11 and if able to pinch a panel can go close.

SEA HAWKE (11) was looking for short-cuts in the C&G Triad Final last start and wasn’t far away at the finish. 3 starts back behind HIPSTAR was a nice effort and he can feature despite the gate.

SELECTIONS: JOVIAL JULIE (10), TORQUE WITH ESTEEM (1), MAJOR SEASCAPE (2), SEA HAWKE (11)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-10-11

RACE SIX

HEAVENS HURRICANE (5)
was sent forward from gate 7 here 3 starts back and after working in the run wilted in the closing stages. Following that with an improved run at Redcliffe, a line can be put through his latest outing when making an error. From the gate he can get forward and take control.

RAFFERTY DELIGHTS (8) will need a slice of luck in transit yet his most effective pattern is taking the closing shot via the passing lane. Only 6m from NEWMERELLA SHARKIE last start in a qualifier, he made a rare error 2 starts back that ended his chances. With a slice of luck, he can attack late.

CAVALRYMAN (12) started fav here last time out but was never in the equation after galloping as the field was released. His 1st up run in Qld had merit at Redcliffe 2 starts back and he is chance here.

KURAHAUPO GAMBLER (4) started from inside the 2nd line last time out and was only beaten 5m after a cosy run. Not far away when snagged back early 2 start back, he has place claims in this.

SELECTIONS: HEAVENS HURRICANE (5), RAFFERTY DELIGHTS (8), CAVALRYMAN (12), KURAHAUPO GAMBLER (4)
SUGGESTED BET: HEAVENS HURRICANE (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

LEFT A TERROR (12) has no favours from the gate here, but he might just have enough of a class edge on his rivals to take this. Starting fav in the 3YO C&G Triad last start he looked to take them all the way when 4m in arrears of the winner FIRST STRING. With even luck he can overcome the gate.

ARK PATROL (3) was snagged back from gate 5 last start in a qualifier and couldn’t work into it late on the sloppy track. 4th to COLT THIRTY ONE in the Triad Final 2 starts back after landing the pocket trail, he should find this assignment an easier task and can throw down a solid challenge.

BANGKOK BRAVADO (2) rolled forward to the breeze from the 2nd line last start at Redcliffe and was fighting when beaten a half-head. Close up behind TROJAN BANNER 2 back he can podium here.

TEARAWAY DIAMOND (5) is yet to miss a top-two in his 3 appearances in Qld. Beaten 3m when 1st up behind ONLY IN ROME, he was then too classy at Redcliffe 2nd up. Look for him chiming in here.

SELECTIONS: LEFT A TERROR (12), ARK PATROL (3), BANGKOK BRAVADO (2), TEARAWAY DIAMOND (5)
SUGGESTED BET: LEFT A TERROR (12) to win

RACE EIGHT
CROWNING GLORY (4)
drops into the claiming ranks and should appreciate a return to the front line. 2 starts back he finished best in a 2nd division qualifier after starting from gate 9 and last start the run had merit after starting from the car-park. Career start 100 can be memorable here.

OUR MELS DREAM (1) is honing in on a century of his own and will have his 96th start at Albion Park in this. Racing in consistent form, he was attacking the line strongly last start to get within a flared nostril of success. A winner 3 back he has the options here and will be right in the fight.

IM FREE FALLING (8) looked to take them all the way last start and after setting the tempo couldn’t see it out. Back to claiming company he will get a cosy trip and can be firing late bullets here.

SELECTIONS: CROWNING GLORY (4), OUR MELS DREAM (1), IM FREE FALLING (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

NEWMERELLA SHARKIE (1)
shoots for the hat-trick after wins at Marburg and then when opening his band assessment last start. Landing gate 1 on that occasion he took the trail and was able to put the bite on them up the passing lane. With similar tactics on offer, he can repeat the result.

RED CHARMER (4) claimed the 4YO Triad final for mares last start after finishing over the top to claim a smart win. Working in the run the start prior when sent to the post as fav, she was only 6m from the winner. If able to limit the early burn, she will throw down a strong challenge.

GREGS LEGACY (2) speared out early to find the pegs before handing over and holding on for the silver behind the smart CASTALONG SHADOW, was relegated to 3rd on protest. He can fire out and will be gripping on.

PAY ME INTEREST (9) took on a mares qualifier last start and was facing a task to make ground against the tempo. A nice run through early looks on offer here and she can chime in late.

SELECTIONS: NEWMERELLA SHARKIE (1), RED CHARMER (4), GREGS LEGACY (2), PAY ME INTEREST (9)
SUGGESTED BET: NEWMERELLA SHARKIE (1) to win
