RACE TWO

WHATA STRIDE (2) is still a maiden after 40 career starts but she lands a gate here and has been racing well of late with placings in 3 of her past 4 starts. Closing out nicely at AP on Mon from back in the pack, he run 2 starts back was solid when closing out strongly. Can today be the day?

ZARAS ALL GOOD (4) started in red figures last start when resuming from a spell at her 1st hit-out for her 3YO season. Settling in the pocket trail from gate 1 after being crossed under the walk-up start, she was then able to get within a neck of the winner. Fitter for the run she is the testing material.

MISS MIA (8) has had her races well spaces this prep and lines up here a last start winner back on Feb 20. Finding the 1x1 from 2nd line she finished best to claim a tidy win. She won’t be far away.

NON PASSARE (5) was a winner at the Mon meeting at AP where he blew the tote board apart. Finding the pocket trail from gate 3 he took his shot up the passing lane and can look to build.

SELECTIONS: WHATA STRIDE (2), ZARAS ALL GOOD (4), MISS MIA (8), NON PASSARE (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

MEGIDDO (1) should appreciate the return to the front line after landing 2nd line gates at his past 2 runs back since resuming from a freshen. He led them up 5 starts back over the AP mile and was only grabbed in the closing stages. A beaten fav 2 starts back, he can look to capitalise here.

NEWMERELLA LADYKAY (6) may have a 9 next to her name from her last start but that can be completely deceiving as she was within 5m of the winner and was completely luckless in the run. Probing for a gap that never arrived she never had a crack. Placed her previous 3 she is the threat.

KYLIE BROMAC (8) settled in the pocket trail last start from inside the 2nd line and held on for the silver behind SAINT KILDA BEACH. Buried in the run 2 starts bac she can chime in here to podium
POINT OH FIVE (5) was in the same contest as NEWMERELLA LADYKAY last start and in the blanket finish was 3m from the winner in finishing 6th. Placed his previous 2 starts he has claims despite the gate.

SELECTIONS: MEGIDDO (1), NEWMERELLA LADYKAY (6), KYLIE BROMAC (8), POINT OH FIVE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MEGIDDO (1) to win

RACE FOUR

MADAMOISELLE JUJON (4)
started her career in the best way possible when a debut winner. Smartly away at the walk-up she was able to find the pegs and then control the tempo and with a tidy last 800m panel held on to claim victory. With the experience she can look to make it 2 for 2.

LITTLE ARROWS (3) is racing well without getting into the money of late and with the right slice of luck can feature in this. She did some early work last time out before finding cover and finishing 6m from the winner and hit the line strongly 2 starts back when 5m from JOVIAL JULIE. This looks suitable.

ROLL ONA RAINBOW (7) will be needing a slice of luck in transit from this alley but with the soft run can be looking to offer in the latter stages. Only beaten 4m last time out he will be probing for gaps.

STUDLEIGH SONNY (5) makes his Qld debut for visiting trainer Leigh Davis. His past 2 starts have been behind some handy performers and if able to bring the form from his run 3 starts back he has claims.

SELECTIONS: MADAMOISELLE JUJON (4), LITTLE ARROWS (3), ROLL ONA RAINBOW (7), STUDLEIGH SONNY (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MADAMOISELLE JUJON (4) to win

RACE FIVE

ARBIT MAJOR (5) has a tricky gate to negotiate here but he should appreciate this class of contest. His run 3 back from gate 7 was a solid effort to grab the bronze when only 4m from the smart LIFES BLACK. His run on sat night behind OUR BONDI BEACH was full of merit and he can capitalise here.

ROLLING ALONG (9) was locked away on the pegs at AP on Mon and when he did see space, he was hitting the line well to get within 3m of the winner. That run should sharpen him after having a month between starts with his run 2 starts back be best to forget. Placed in 4 of 5 here on the triangle he is in the mix.

ZED CODE (6) has no favours from the wide gate but she has managed to finish as the runner-up in her past 2, the latest a tough effort from the breeze. Wide in the run 2 starts back she has place claims.

TASCOTT LADY (3) took on a mares event on Mon at AP and under the walk-up start conditions she was hampered from the start and then never in the mix. With early speed she can press forward and be gripping on.

SELECTIONS: ARBIT MAJOR (5), ROLLING ALONG (9), ZED CODE (6), TASCOTT LADY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ARBIT MAJOR (5) to win

RACE SIX

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (1)
started from the 2nd line over this trip 2 starts back and working home wide off the track packed too many guns in the run to the line to claim an 8m victory. He found the line in good order for the bronze over the AP 2138m trip last start and hustling early can dictate.

ON THAT DAY (9) will strip fitter for her 1st run in Qld when settling in the running line from gate 2 she was facing a task with the tempo solid from the front. A Dubbo winner 2 starts back when taking the trail from gate 1, she can look to work home over the top in the closing stages.

VINTAGE DREAM (2) worked away from the pegs 2 starts back over the AP sprint trip and was able to finish over the top to claim a career PB. Not suited from the 2nd line last start she can feature here.

SCOTT TOM (7) sat in the pocket trail and used the passing lane to get within 2m of the winner here 3 starts back. From this alley he should be able to secure the economical trip and be ready to strike.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR GENERALJUJON (1), ON THAT DAY (9), VINTAGE DREAM (2), SCOTT TOM (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR GENERALJUJON (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

RAFFERTY DEIGHTS (7) was shooting for the hat-trick over the AP 2138m trip last start and was unable to find position which forced him to snag back to the rear. A winner at the 2040m and then the 1780m in his previous 2he loves a soft trip and he looks to get the perfect conditions to take the snipers shot here.

EARL JUJON (1) lands his best gate for some time and hustling early can look to protect the pegs and attempt to wire them. Locked away from inside the 2nd line in a 2nd division qualifier last start, he chased home to be 7m from the winner SKYFELLA CAM. With the improved gate he can capitalise.

CHLOES CLOUD (8) worked hard in the run in a mares qualifier last start and cutting the breeze was in for the fight when 2m from the winner. With the pegs an option early, she is right in the fight.

ELLIOTT BROMAC (2) was forced to retreat from gate 7 last start and went luck hunting up the pegs when able to finish mid-field and only 8m from the winner. If limiting the early burn, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: RAFFERTY DEIGHTS (7), EARL JUJON (1), CHLOES CLOUD (8), ELLIOTT BROMAC (2)
SUGGESTED BET: RAFFERTY DEIGHTS (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

JUSTA DALE (1)
will need to hustle early but with the chance to make the most of his best gate in some time he will have the options to utilise and looks to get his chance. He closed out strongly to grab the bronze in a slick rate 2 starts back. He hit the line nicely last start and can end a 12-month winless drought.

LURAH (6) is in good touch and last start hit the line in good order to grab the silver over the 2138m trip here on Mon. A winner over the middle-distance trip here 3 starts back when finishing best from gate 10, she can look to throw down a solid challenge.
BETTOR ATOM (10) continues to be a risk at the start and last time out worked home strongly after a sketchy start. Holding on for 3rd 2 starts back when leading them up, if he can bring his manners he can feature.

SPLASH OF GOLD (7) will need some factors in her favour but looks set to get a cosy trip and be ready to issue a closing shot when the gaps arrive. Placed in 2 of her past 3 including a tough 3rd 2 starts back, she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: JUSTA DALE (1), LURAH (6), BETTOR ATOM (10), SPLASH OF GOLD (7)
SUGGESTED BET: JUSTA DALE (1) to win
