Steph Thornton made the move from Victoria to Queensland a little over 12 months ago.
Still an apprentice, she has enjoyed an astounding season thus far, including a first listed win aboard the Gollan-trained Sugar Boom - who she partners with again this Saturday.
Racing Queensland caught up with Steph ahead of this Saturday's Metro North meeting at Doomben to discuss her season and preview her rides for the weekend.
