RACE TWO

TOO GOOD FOR YOU (6) had been building towards his first victory and was able to cash-in here on Tues in fine style. Circling to find the breeze from gate 10, he lived up to his name against his opponents to put them away by 10m. This is no harder and he looks the one to beat.

NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (2) is really starting to put it together at the races as she searches for her maiden victory and has been able to place in 5 of her past 6. Buried away on the pegs last time out she may have been closer with a clearer passage and she looks to get her chance in this.

THE RAGNBONE MAN (5) looked to take them all the way from this same gate when on debut last week and went down swinging, beaten a half-neck. With the added experience he is right in this.

ALLYS FELLA (1) wasn’t suited last start when working hard in the run when cutting the breeze. Run down I the closing stages 3 starts back, the gate is his friend in this contest.

SELECTIONS: TOO GOOD FOR YOU (6), NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (2), THE RAGNBONE MAN (5), ALLYS FELLA (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TOO GOOD FOR YOU (6) to win

RACE THREE

MALONE (3) will be 2nd up in Qld for Darrel Graham after stepping out on the grass at Kilcoy on Sat. Settling back in the pack he found the line in good style to be within 5m of the winner. His previous few had been behind some handy ones at Menangle and he can break his maiden in this.

DONT BE JEALOUS (2) was beaten by the barrier last start when having to overcome gate 5 at Redcliffe and finding herself too far back in the pack. Forced to work in the run 2 starts back, she will be better suited from this alley and can issue a challenge here.

JUST ROKIN (11) has the tough gate to overcome but she is racing in good order and last start was within 10m of COREY WILLIAM. Beaten a head 2 starts back, look for her working home out wide.

LIVING FREE (1) has good early speed and from the ace gate has the options. Working hard in the run last start when cutting the breeze, she took them all the way at Marburg 2 starts back.

SELECTIONS: MALONE (3), DONT BE JEALOUS (2), JUST ROKIN (11), LIVING FREE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MALONE (3) to win

RACE FOUR

FEEL THE REIGN (10)
will take further benefit from his latest start when 2nd up from a break. Settling back in the pack off gate 10 at Redcliffe, he weaved a passage and attacked the line strongly to arrive for a 1m victory. His return run behind DATSGOOD was a solid effort and he looks hard to stop again.

MAYTHEHORSEBWITHU (2) didn’t have the best of luck last start after making an early error and then when getting going again didn’t have the clearest of runs in transit. Still hitting the line in good order, he has trialled to get back into the draw and achieving that, he can challenge here.

SNAKES N LADDERS (6) has placed at his past 3 starts with the latest when claiming the silver from the pocket trail at Redcliffe. He has no favours from this gate but can work onto the podium.

VICTREE MIKAYLA (7) was beaten 8m last start at Redcliffe after never getting a shot at them. A winner here 3 starts back over the 2138m trip, she won’t be far away despite the tough alley.

SELECTIONS: FEEL THE REIGN (10), MAYTHEHORSEBWITHU (2), SNAKES N LADDERS (6), VICTREE MIKAYLA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: FEEL THE REIGN (10) to win

RACE FIVE

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (9) features in a stable change and will line up for Ron Sallis for the 1st time in this. Buried away on the pegs last start in a qualifier, it was a sound effort behind the winner OUR CHITTYBANGBANG. He has no favours from this alley, but he looks well placed in this line-up.

ALLNIGHT MLADY (2) had no luck last start when looking for an opening and only going under by 4m. With good early speed she can look for the pegs here and if able to take control can look to dictate.

ZALTA (8) will need a slice of luck from this alley but if able to spot an opening with track to work with will be ready to launch. He was too keen last start from the pocket trail but can be sharper here.

GUTS (1) has come from back in the pack at his past 2 starts and trying to work into his races in the closing stages. With the improved gate he will get the perfect trail and be ready to take the closing shot.

SELECTIONS: SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (9), ALLNIGHT MLADY (2), ZALTA (8, GUTS (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (9) to win

RACE SIX

SIR JULIAN (3)
is knocking on the door and with placings in 3 of his past 4 starts, he looks ready to burst through in this. 10m behind OUR CHITTYBANGBANG last start in a qualifier, that followed a 3m 3rd to ONE WISE MAN. With solid form against stronger opponents, this is his chance to cash-in.

MONIVAE (4) faded out last start after working in the run at Redcliffe and doing the hard yards out 3-wide. He found the line in good style here 2 starts back after being buried away and flashing late to be within 6.5m of the winner BEAU CISHOLM. He can be better this time.

SOHO SHANGHAI (8) settled in the running line last start in a qualifier and worked home well to be 8from the winner. He worked hard here 2 starts back and with the cosy trip here will be probing for an opening.

ROCKNROLL MUSIC (10) was luckless last start when unable to find position and forced to snag back looking for a spot. His run 2 back was a tidy effort at Redcliffe off the 2nd line and he can chime into the exotics.

SELECTIONS: SIR JULIAN (3), MONIVAE (4), SOHO SHANGHAI (8), ROCKNROLL MUSIC (10)
SUGGESTED BET: SIR JULIAN (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

FRANCO TOTEM (11) was 2nd up from a break in a 2nd division qualifier 3 starts back and from this same gate was charging home and went within a head of the win. Forget his next start at Redcliffe when making an error, he found his race on the grass at Kilcoy last time. He looks too classy.

REGAL NIGHTSHADE (1) worked home wide off the track at Redcliffe 2 starts back and was able to score a tidy victory. Forced to work in the run last start over this trip when sent forward from gate 6, he will appreciate the ace gate and will be right in the fight.

MONUMENTAL (2) has claimed the bronze at his past 2, the latest when using the passing lane to get within 3m of the winner EPIRUS BOY. He flashed home here 2 back and with even luck will be in the mix.

SHADOW PASS (12) made a mess of the start last time and finds himself banished to the outside. Working hard in the run at the re-take he went down fighting and in this line-up won’t be far away.

SELECTIONS: FRANCO TOTEM (11), REGAL NIGHTSHADE (1), MONUMENTAL (2), SHADOW PASS (12)
SUGGESTED BET: FRANCO TOTEM (11) to win

RACE EIGHT

MANDY KRIDEN (6)
has the tricky gate to negotiate but her form has been solid enough to suggest she can sneak away with this. Last start the effort had merit when 10m from the smart filly MAJOR OOCCASION and she was charging home her 2 back. If she can find a spot without being too far back, she can swoop hard to score.
THUNDER MAC (12) was aiming up for the hat-trick last start and after landing the ace gate at Redcliffe, released in the middle stages and finished 12m from the winner POMPIDOU. He will need some factors to go his way in the run, but can chime in late to find the podium.

MACHIN OUT (8) is another that will be relying on some factors to go his way but if that eventuates he will be ready to take his chance. This is easier than his latest assignment when looking for gaps behind ALWAYS MY MATE and he will be probing again.

OFFICIANADO (7) has no favours from this alley but will take benefit from his last start when returning from a long break. Holding on for the bronze after taking the trail from gate 1, he won’t be far away in this.

SELECTIONS: MANDY KRIDEN (6), THUNDER MAC (12), MACHIN OUT (8), OFFICIANADO (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MANDY KRIDEN (6) each-way
