RACE TWO

PEGGY STARDUST (7) looked to take them all the way last start over this trip and after running even sections was grabbed in the closing stages to settle with 2nd. Her run 2 starts saw her strike some trouble in transit that likely proved costly and stalking the speed here can take the snipers shot.

LAZY BLAZE (1) returns from a freshen and can look to take full advantage of his best gate for some time in looking to overturn a winless streak that dates back 2 years. He found the line in good style here 2 starts back to finish mid-field and with good early speed can look to capitalise.

THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (4) found the front from gate 1 here 2 starts back and looking to take them all the way was collared in the closing stages. Not suited in the breeze her past 2, she can place here.

WECANONLYHOPE (9) was a tidy 3rd here last start after striking some trouble in the run that may have cost her a closer finish, only beaten 4m. This is no harder and she is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: PEGGY STARDUST (7), LAZY BLAZE (1), THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (4), WECANONLYHOPE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: PEGGY STARDUST (7) to win

RACE THREE

LIVING FREE (4) has been runner-up at his past 2 starts with both runs coming from tough gates. From the 2nd line here 2 runs back he was wide off the track and the run had merit when best of a chasing pack behind INDYS APPROVAL. With good speed out of the machine, he can look to dictate.

RAGING INFERNO (6) was a Marburg winner 3 starts back after attacking the line strongly to arrive for a smart win after looking in strife at one stage. He again worked home strongly last start to grab the bronze behind STUDLEIGH WILL and if limiting the early burn can light it up in the latter stages.

ITS YOU NOT ME (1) didn’t have the best of luck last start from gate 5 when stuck looking for position, yet was sound in the closing stages. With an economical trip on offer, he is a place hope.

BERTILS FIREFOX (7) found space to sprint home the best here 2 starts back and break the maiden tag with a 2m victory. Put a line through his latest start when striking trouble, he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: LIVING FREE (4), RAGING INFERNO (6), ITS YOU NOT ME (1), BERTILS FIREFOX (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-6-7

RACE FOUR

CAESARS ASTRUM (1)
took on a mares qualifier last start when buried back along the poles, she was able to grab 4th in the closing stages behind CHARLYSE. Forced to retreat the start prior when too far back behind BARRETT, she will find this easier and with the early options gets her chance to cash-in.

DONT CALL ME (3) made the most of the ace gate last start and taking control early was able to walk the early stages and then put them away with a sharp closing 800m sprint. Burnt early and unable to finish it off 2 starts back at AP, he can look to pounce on the pegs here and fight them off.

JILLIBY JACKPOT (2) will strip fitter from his latest run when making his Qld debut off the back of a spell. Attacking the line strongly to score a smart victory, with a similar trip he can feature.

JENUFLECTION (7) was locked away last start and when the gaps arrived was sound to the line in a strong last 800m. With another cosy trip on offer she will be probing the gaps.

SELECTIONS: CAESARS ASTRUM (1), DONT CALL ME (3), JILLIBY JACKPOT (2), JENUFLECTION (7)
SUGGESTED BET: CAESARS ASTRUM (1) to win

RACE FIVE

IMA ROCKNROLL DIVA (1) took on a mares qualifier 2 starts back when keen in front over the mile, she faded out under a tough trip. Sent to the front again from gate 5 last start, she set a solid tempo and faded the closing stages. Back to the triangle from the ace, if she can pinch a panel, she can hold on.

HEAVENS HURRICANE (5) didn’t have that much luck last start after an early dip for the front he then did some work before finding cover. Looking for space that didn’t arrive, the run was sound under the circumstances when 8m in arrears. If finding position cheaply, he can challenge in this.

THREE MUGS IN (9) might find this a shade easier than last start when making his 1st run for the new stable and finishing 9m from STAR OF MONTANA. With even luck in transit, look for him chiming in.

BIG IN AMERICA (8) used the passing lane to grab the bronze here 2 starts back when finishing 3m from the winner. Fining the line nicely last start in a mares event, she has podium claims in this.

SELECTIONS: IMA ROCKNROLL DIVA (1), HEAVENS HURRICANE (5), THREE MUGS IN (9), BIG IN AMERICA
SUGGESTED BET: IMA ROCKNROLL DIVA (1) to win

RACE SIX

IFOUNDTHEBEACH (1) started from inside the 2nd line last start and soon found himself buried away and his chances forlorn. When the space did arrive, he found the line in good order to finish mid-field and with the return to the front-line can look to make the most of his early speed to dictate.

WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (8) started fav from gate 10 last start and after settling back in the pack was able to work home in good order to grab the silver, 1.5m in arrears of the winner. Forget his previous 2 where things didn’t go to plan, with the right trip he can be making a challenge in this.

GOALKICKER (2) was a passing lane winner here 3 starts back after securing the cosy trip against the pegs. Her past 2 haven’t worked in her favour but with the right conditions here, she is in the mix.

KISS CAM (5) has the wide gate to negotiate here, but has been in good touch with a top-three in 5 of his past 6. Attacking the line strongly last start to grab the silver behind STEVIE DEE, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: IFOUNDTHEBEACH (1), WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (8), GOALKICKER (2), KISS CAM (5)
SUGGESTED BET: IFOUNDTHEBEACH (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

CALL ME YOURS (2) was able to squeeze in to the pocket trail last start and with the favourable trip packed too many guns to score. That followed a tidy 2nd in stronger company behind CROWNING GLORY at Marburg and with the option to find the lamp lighting duties here, she can dictate.

STUDLEIGH WILL (9) did his share of work from the 2nd line when not far away here 3 starts back and followed that with a torrid trip when working in a sizzling tempo. He found the right race last start when finishing strongly to score and if limiting the early work, this is within reach.

NON PASSARE (6) shoots for the hat-trick after scoring successive wins within 4 days here last week. Finishing best from a long wasy back last time, he lands the tough gate but won’t be far away.

TELL THE FUTURE (8) was rewarded here last start after 3 successive 2nd placed runs, she proved too strong in forging clear to a big win. With the right trail through, she can throw down a challenge.

SELECTIONS: CALL ME YOURS (2), STUDLEIGH WILL (9), NON PASSARE (6), TELL THE FUTURE (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

MAFUTA VAUTIN (7) makes a rare trip to the triangle, a track where he has the smart figures of 3 wins and 2 minors in 7 attempts. Not suited last start when forced to retreat from a wide gate, his previous run was full of merit when only 6m from LEOS BEST. He will be coiled and ready to strike.

UNASSUMING CHAMP (1) snagged back from the wide gate last start and was then too far back trying to chase against the tempo. Locked in behind the leader from inside the 2nd line here 2 starts back, he grabbed the silver when a half-head off the winner. From the gate he can go close.

OUR BONDI BEACH (8) has placed 2nd in 2 of his 3 attempts here at the track and from this gate can get a nice run in transit. Looming strongly in the trail last start, his chances were dashed with an uncharacteristic gait break. He can atone.

PLATINUM ROULETTE (4) is on the back-up from Tuesday and with good early speed might just want to have a look. 3rd here 2 starts back when 6.5m from CARLOAD, he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: MAFUTA VAUTIN (7), UNASSUMING CHAMP (1), OUR BONDI BEACH (8), PLATINUM ROULETTE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MAFUTA VAUTIN (7) to win

RACE NINE

OUR UNCLE ALAN (2) rolled forward to face the breeze here 4 starts back and rolling the sleeves was too strong in scoring a tough win. Locked away from an inside 2nd line gate last time and closing in good order to grab the bronze, he will get his chance to press forward to take control here.

COULDNTBETOLD (1) found the front over the 2040m trip last start prior to releasing the speed and from the trail was only a half-neck off the winner PROJECTILE. The run the start prior had merit when not far from the winner HEZ RAZOR SHARP and with the cosy trip, can be ready for the snipers shot.

RANFURLY RULZ (4) settled back in the running line last start and was hitting the line in good order to grab the silver behind PROJECTILE. With the right run in transit, look for him swooping late.

ALWAYS IN COMMAND (5) attacked the line strongly over the AP mile 2 starts back to get within 2m of the winner. Finding his race here last start, he pressed on to take control in scoring by 6m. He is in the mix again.

SELECTIONS: OUR UNCLE ALAN (2), COULDNTBETOLD (1), RANFURLY RULZ (4), ALWAYS IN COMMAND (5)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR UNCLE ALAN (2) to win
