RACE TWO

SONNY ORLANDO (7) was finding the line in good style from back in the field to be within 3m of the winner over the sprint trip here 2 starts back. Settling in the running line off gate 2 last start nothing really made any ground late when he held position to the line. Effective when saved for 1 shot he will be hoping to get the passing lane with momentum.

HERITAGE BEACH (5) was locked away on the pegs last start and was hitting the line in good style to be 4m from the winner SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT. Leading them up 2 starts back over the AP 2138m trip he faded late. This looks easier than his past 2 and he can ask the questions here.

LIFEINHEAVEN (4) was snagged back to the pegs last start from gate 5 to look for luck on the pegs. His previous 2 starts he didn’t have much luck in the run and in this he can look to podium.

THERESACHANCE (3) resumes from a break and hasn’t been to the trials to prepare. His run 2 starts back was a tidy effort when 6m from the winner WEEDONS EXPRESS and he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: SONNY ORLANDO (7), HERITAGE BEACH (5), LIFEINHEAVEN (4), THERESACHANCE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 3-4-5-7

RACE THREE

BANGKOK BRAVADO (8) will be on the short back-up from Monday where he will be 3rd up from a break. His 1st 2 runs back have been in stronger company where the runs have been better than the return. Despite the 2nd line gate he looks well placed here and can keep his perfect record on the triangle in-tact.

FLASHING GOOD TIME (3) has claimed the bronze at her past 3 in succession and with good early speed can look to take an early shot. She chased gamely last start behind the big winner BLUE MOON RISING and if she can get to the pegs 1st will be in the right position to finish at the pointy end.

HERES MY NUMBER (7) held the front last start over the 1780m trip and was looking to take them all the way when LETHAL PROMISE was able to out-grind him from the breeze. Probing for runs he can be in the mix.

SCOTT TOM (1) was a winner 2 starts back when pinching it from in front and holding on for a 7m victory. On the back-up from Monday he lands the gate to be around the money.

SELECTIONS: BANGKOK BRAVADO (8), FLASHING GOOD TIME (3), HERES MY NUMBER (7), SCOTT TOM (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BANGKOK BRAVADO (8) to win

RACE FOUR

SIR JULIAN (6)
cops his share of tough gates and lands another one here however that might not be enough to stop him in this line-up. A winner here 5 starts back in a qualifier over the 2040m trip his run 2 starts back was a tough effort when wide out and only 5m from the winner FRANCO TOTEM. With even luck he can arrive for the prize.

BETTOR BE LUCKY (1) looked to take them all the way last start over the AP 2138m and after a steady opening 800m couldn’t finish them off when 7m from WHISKEY BLAZE. His previous start was a tough effort and with the options from the gate he will be right in the fight in this.

WATTLEBANK FLYER (5) hit the line in good style to claim a 2138m King of the Claimers heat 2 starts back. Slammed with gate 11 in the final he was too far back to work into it. He can threaten here.

HOT DOGMA (4) resumes from a freshen and had been racing in some strong company prior to having a let-up. Working hard in the breeze when sent forward from gate 7 last start he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: SIR JULIAN (6), BETTOR BE LUCKY (1), WATTLEBANK FLYER (5), HOT DOGMA (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SIR JULIAN (6) to win

RACE FIVE

COAST WARNING (7) finally broke through for a C0 win last start when rolling forward to find position off gate 5 and then finished over the top to claim the prize. That followed a silver when working home from gate 10 wide out and with a rub of the green can look to arrive in time here.

FAMOUS SHOES (10) was heavily supported last start from gate 2 and threw his chances away with a gate break. His run 2 starts back from the pocket trail was a tidy effort when only 4m from the winner and despite a tricky gate can issue a challenge in this line-up.

BERTILS DELIGHT (1) will find this easier that her last start when fading out from the trail. Her previous 2 starts had merit when back on the pegs and picking up late metres. With the options she has podium claims.

CHEYENNE AUTUMN (4) has faced wide gates at her past 2 starts here on the triangle and been trying to work home in the closing stages. With an improved gate she can settle closer and look for a sharper effort in this.

SELECTIONS: COAST WARNING (7), FAMOUS SHOES (10), BERTILS DELIGHT (1), CHEYENNE AUTUMN (4)
SUGGESTED BET: CHEYENNE AUTUMN (4) each-way

RACE SIX

HIPSTAR (7)
will be fitter following his return to the track last start to kick-off his 3YO term. Starting fav he was back in the pack from a 2nd line gate when working home late to be 9m from the winner. He trialled in good order for his return and with factors in his favour here, look for him to take the snipers shot along the passing lane.

SEA HAWKE (5) found his race last start when given plenty of time to balance up from gate 7 over the AP 2138m he was able to power over the top to post an 18m victory. That followed a 3m 3rd after setting the tempo in front and despite a tricky gate he will be right in the fight.

ALOT OF COST (8) was 3rd up last start when setting the speed from gate 3 looking to take them all the way. Trying to fight them off he was nabbed up the passing lane by SAINT KILDA BEACH after beaten a nose at his previous start. He will be thereabouts.

MAYWYN TOUGH (1) started from the 2nd line last start and was too far back to issue a challenge. From the pocket trail 2 starts back he was only 6m from the winner. With good early speed he has the options and is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: HIPSTAR (7), SEA HAWKE (5), ALOT OF COST (8), MAYWYN TOUGH (1)
SUGGESTED BET: HIPSTAR (7) to win
