UPDATE:
Currently in day 7 of the track renovation project, and despite the weather the project is currently running to schedule.
The photo gallery also shows the various stages of work over the past week.
The geofabric and new racing surface commenced being laid this morning and will continue until the end of Sunday 11th March.

Renovation works to the Albion Park greyhound track are under way.
The track base will undergo testing before new sand is blended and re-laid, with racing to return on 19 March 2018.
Racing Queensland will continue to update participants as the project progresses.
Racing Queensland advises stakeholders that the Albion Park greyhound track will be renovated during the month of March 2018.
The last race meeting at Albion Park will be Thursday 1 March 2018.
The track will be closed from 2 March 2018 until 18 March 2018 in order for the works on the track to be completed.
The scheduled return to racing is Monday 19 March 2018.
All Albion Park meetings scheduled during this period will be transferred to the Ipswich Greyhound Racing Club.
