Brilliant pacer Bling It On is a notable omission from Saturday night’s Miracle Mile qualifying events at TABCORP Park, Menangle.

Connections of the millionaire pacer have decided to skip Australasia’s premier speed test in preference of a summer break before being set for the Brisbane winter carnival later this year.

Bling It On was unplaced in the Gr.1 $500,000 A G Hunter Cup at Melton on February 3 behind freakish pacer Lazarus.

“He copped a bump over the concluding stages and we had him scanned as a precaution once returning home and it revealed some bruising. It was decided that he have a good break now and bypass the Miracle Mile carnival before getting him readied for the Brisbane campaign, the Blacks A Fake is the main focus in July.” Regular driver Luke McCarthy said.

A successful return to Brisbane would cap an unbelievable chapter in his highly decorated career after sustaining what many believed would be career ending injuries after crashing heavily in the Lucky Creed Pace last June.

Since returning to the track, Bling It On has won 3 of his 7 starts with his only unplaced effort coming at his most recent start.

The Gr.1 $200,540 UBET Blacks A Fake, the final major event of the 2017/18 Australian Pacing Gold Grand Circuit season is scheduled for July 21.
