GLENEAGLE WARRIOR (7) started from the 2nd line last time out at Marburg when making a late challenge to get within a head of the winner. Breaking the maiden tag 2 starts back in early December when too tough in the breeze, he can get the easy trip here and be ready to strike.
MISTER COLE (6) speared across from gate 3 to find the front last start when returning to kick-off his 3YO term. Taking control over the AP mile, he steadied the ship mid-race allowing the after burners to be ignited for a 27 flat closing panel. The gate hurts, but he might have the class edge on his rivals.
WHERES SEGGY (1) started inside the 2nd line last start and buried in the run was 7m from the winner. FEARLESS FAITH was too sharp for him 2 starts back but with the gate he can feature here.

WECANONLYHOPE (5) doesn’t have any favours from this alley, yet she hasn’t been far away of late, finishing runner-up at her past 2 in succession. Working to the front from gate 3 last start, she was collared late when 4m away and if limiting the early burn here, can be around the mark once again.
ELLE JAY (7) had an early look last start before easing in to take the pocket trail when finishing 8m away. A beaten fav 3 starts back, she can secure a soft trip here and look for the gaps in the stretch.
PERFECT FEELING (1) took them all the way at Marburg 3 starts back, holding off a late challenge to score. His past 2 haven’t suited, but back to this gate in this line-up, he can ask some questions.

SUGGESTED BET: BEEF CITY STARZZZ (8) to win
BONNIES CAM (1) started from gate 8 over the sprint trip here last start when settling back in the pack to then finish mid-field behind MODERN THOUGHT. RAINBOW ATOMIC (3) will take further benefit from his latest appearance when 2nd up from a let-up and having his 2nd run following a stable switch. Firing out to take control over the AP mile, he was grabbed in the latter stages. With gate speed, he can be in the right position to challenge.

The only miss came at her last start when making an early error before being sent to the breeze. With a nice trial to prepare, she can strike 1st up to open her account.
LANOCH BAY (5) has the wide gate to overcome as he looks for an elusive victory that has been out of reach on 12 previous occasions. Banished to the trials for a last start error, he returns here with a front-line gate after his past 3 have been from the 2nd line. 13 might just be his lucky number.

HURRIKANE SPECIAL (1) has the race experience to call on, boasting more starts than the entire field combined. Eased back in the early stages last start from gate 5 last start, it was just too far out of reach. The improved gate is a big plus and she can challenge for that elusive victory.

SUGGESTED BET: BETTOR MEMORIES (4) to win
KWASII (1) started from inside the 2nd line last start and was soon locked away 3 back over this trip. Chasing hard to grab the bronze behind TIMELESS APPEAL, it followed a mid-field finish after setting the pace. With the speed to dictate here, if he can pinch a panel or two, he can stave them off.
TICK OF THE CLOCK (3) makes his 1st race appearance in Qld, arriving a two-time winner joining the Adam Sanderson yard. 7m from the winner at his last start back in Sept, he was sent around in a trial at Albion Park last week when following the speed to be 4m from the winner. He stays under watch.

THATS BETTOR (8) made the most of finding an easier assignment last start when keeping the favourite punters happy when arriving in the line to claim a half-head victory, set up with a slick early tempo. With a perfect 3 from 3 record here at the track, she can challenge to make it 4.

GOES BOOM (4) found his race last start here over the sprint trip. Finding the 1x1 trail from gate 9, he powered over the top to claim an 8m victory. He will need to step up from what he met in that contest, but with winning form and moving to the front line can look for a repeat effort.

SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-7-8
LETTUCEFIRESTAR (1) found his race 2 starts back after some handy outings and after landing a nice position in transit, had bullets to fire in claiming victory over the 2040m. Forced to retreat last start, he worked home well for the bronze and from the gate, looks the one to beat here.
LIFES BLACK (6) has placed in all 4 starts since returning from a break, the latest when using the passing lane to be 3m from the winner HARD TO HEAR. Wide off the track in grabbing the silver 2 starts back after landing gate 11 over the 2138m, he has no favours from this gate but can chime in.
MAJOR GENERALJUJON (5) rolled forward to cut the breeze last start from gate 3 and digging in for the fight was too tough over the 1780m trip. Appreciating that assignment, he can look to build here.
