RACE TWO

PATERNITY SUIT (3) has been in the money in 4 of 5 starts since returning from a spell and has seen the front line in just one of those. He couldn’t make ground last start behind the leader and winner GOVINNI when beaten 8m. He can force his way to the front and will take plenty of catching.

SOMWHEREOVARAINBOW (7) is talented but has shown that he is still learning the racing game and can make errors. A winner on debut at 2YO, he resumed in December and was sent to the post a red figure fav despite starting from the 7-hole. An error ruined his chances. With a trouble-free run he can feature.

RACE THREE

THE BLACK FLASH (6) has had 2 runs back from a spell and shoots for the hat-trick after wins at both Redcliffe outings. His 3YO term ended with a 3^rd to the handy FRANCO TOTEM in a Gold Pot heat and since returning has wins at 2040m and 1780m. The rise to 2138m is a query, but he looks a talented performer.
 
ALL AFTER ME (7) will strip fitter following his return to the track last start when taken back from gate 5 and although finishing last was only 9m from the winner. The wide gate makes it tricky but with some early pressure up front he can be charging home late.

RACE FOUR

QUIETLY SPOKEN (2) shoots for a hat-trick of victories after successive wins at the 2647m trip. Last week she rolled forward and from the breeze proved too strong to record a 2m victory. Starting from the front again under the conditions in this event she looks hard to stop.

SCORCHED (9) has placed at his past 3 in succession. Last start from 20m he was hitting the line in good order when 5m from QUIETLY SPOKEN and that followed a 3m margin to that same mare. He is closing in on a win in the right race and can challenge again here.

RACE FIVE

JACKS AT THE BEACH (2) took on a 2^nd division qualifier 2 starts back and started fav when looking to lead throughout when he was grabbed late to finish a 2.5m 2^nd. From gate 11 on Sat night he was finishing strongly when 3m from BOBBIES GIRL and from the front here, he doesn’t look to cop too much pressure and can go wire to wire.

PSYCHEDELIC (8) will have the option to join the running line early as the sole 2^nd line runner and with the right trail through look for him attacking the line in the closing stages. From 3-pegs last week he grabbed the silver behind CHARMS ON A ROLL. He is racing well and can issue a challenge.

RACE SIX

PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (1) started fav last start from gate 2 and was unable to muster the speed to cross when breezing throughout and finishing 3^rd. Back in Dec he landed a pair of all the way wins from this gate and with that advantage again he can look to dictate terms.

MANDY KRIDEN (3) was warming up to a win with successive 3^rd placed runs when finishing off nicely. Last start she franked those efforts with a late closing victory over her less preferred 2138m trip. Drawn to settle handy again here look for the grey mare flashing home late.

RACE SEVEN

COMPLY OR DIE (1) landed successive claiming wins in December and was then given a shot in a band 5 event when he found the tempo too solid. Back to claiming grade last start from the 5 hole he couldn’t cross and chased for a mid-field finish. He does his best work in front and from this gate he can take them all the way.

DEANO ROBYN (8) drops back to this claiming grade after finishing 10m from MONTANA FALCO last start. That followed a 3^rd to THE PACMAN and from this gate he will be glued to the 1 every step and be poised to issue the closing challenge.

RACE EIGHT

BARON JUJON (1) was able to lead all the way from this gate on Fri after being left alone in front and had 4.5m to spare on the line. That followed a 4.5m mid-field run behind ZALTA and with this race not looking any harder than his win, he can look to repeat the dictating victory.

SKYLARHAIN (2) has placed in her past 3 starts at Redcliffe with the latest a 3m 2^nd off the 2^nd line behind THE BLACK FLASH. 2 starts back she pressed forward to take up the leaders role when run-down late. She will need some cover here but with the right trail can hit the line late.
