RACE TWO

NEWMERELLA MOLLY (6) was a big winner on debut when she was sent straight to the front and kept an even tempo to put them away with a bg 27m victory. Last start from inside the 2nd line she was never comfortable and after breaking gait did well to grab 3rd. Freshened she can atone.

MOLLY MONTANA (4) chased gamely from the trail at Redcliffe 2 starts back when finishing 4m from the winner TAXI METER which followed a tidy debut when 6m from JOVIAL JULIE. Not suited from a wide gate there on Wed night, the effort was still good and in this can feature.

LIVING FREE (5) has a good record at the track and here 3 starts back was the best of the chasing pack behind GETINANHANGON after stating from the 2nd line. With even luck he is in the mix.

VILLAGE SMIRKER (1) is an 8YO gelding on debut for Greg Elkins. He trialled in good order at Redcliffe for the debut and with a cosy run from the gate has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: NEWMERELLA MOLLY (6), MOLLY MONTANA (4), LIVING FREE (5), VILLAGE SMIRKER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: NEWMERELLA MOLLY (6) to win

RACE THREE

INCITER (6) will need some early luck to work away from the pegs but if he can find the running line he looks hard to stop. Sent to the breeze from this same gate 2 starts back he was too strong and with an amazing record on the track where he has never missed a top-3, he can add another win.

FLASHING GOOD TIME (4) was angled to the pegs at Redcliffe 2 starts back and tracked home nicely when 5m from FORTES IN FIDES. A good 3rd at AP 5 starts back from the pocket trail, she has the speed to take an early look for the front and is in the mix.

KIWI SOLDIER (7) opened his account at Redcliffe 3 starts back when making the most of gate 1 he took the trail and finished best up the passing lane. He worked home in good order last start to grab the bronze and will be closing hard.

GRINYDONTCHA (1) looked to take them all the way here 5 starts back when grabbed in the stretch and then 3 starts back was 9m from the winner. She has podium claims from the gate.

SELECTIONS: INCITER (6), FLASHING GOOD TIME (4), KIWI SOLDIER (7), GRINYDONTCHA (1)
SUGGESTED BET: INCITER (6) to win

RACE FOUR

REDDY FIRE (2)
found his race at Redcliffe on Wed night and made the most of conditions to dictate in front. Taking control over the 1780m he was never in danger holding on for a 3m victory with a further 16m back to 3rd. Hustling early he can find the pegs and look to go back-to-back.

ACE MONTANA (4) opened his account on Wed night when holding the front from gate 1 and setting a steady tempo scored a comfortable victory. That followed a tough 3rd when working from gate 5 to get forward and from the tricky gate looks to need to come wide at some stage.

OUR CHAMPION (1) wasn’t suited at the AP 2138m trip last time out which followed a tidy 3rd over the 1660m. With the cosy trip on offer here he can be following and probing for gaps.

ROYAL TAZ (6) was diving hard in the closing stages on Wed night and went within a half-head of victory. He will need his share of luck from this gate but with the right luck can chime in late.

SELECTIONS: REDDY FIRE (2), ACE MONTANA (4), OUR CHAMPION (1), ROYAL TAZ (6)
SUGGESTED BET: REDDY FIRE (2) to win

RACE FIVE

ALL MADNESS (4) steps out at Marburg for the 1st time and should be further tightened following 2 runs back from a break. 2 starts back when resuming at Redcliffe he looked to take them all the way from gate 2 and only faded the closing stages. In an open contest he looks to have his chance.

STUDLEIGH WILL (3) will be having his 3rd Qld start and 1st at Marburg. Resuming from a spell at Redcliffe 2 starts back he slid back in the small field to find position and went around again on the triangle on Thursday. From the gate in this line-up expect a sharper effort.

MOLLIGUANNA (8) started from inside the 2nd line at Redcliffe 3 starts back when landing a 7m 3rd to LITTLE BOLT and followed that with another 3rd. She faces a tricky alley but is in the mix.

NIGHT NINJA (7) has now been to the track twice this campaign since resuming from a spell. He was closing strongly here when 1st up and only 4m from IFYOUBELIEVE. With the right luck he is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: ALL MADNESS (4), STUDLEIGH WILL (3), MOLLIGUANNA (8), NIGHT NINJA (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

ANNAS BEST (1)
was unsuited last start from the 2nd line over the AP mile yet she still finished strongly to get within 2m of the winner FLASH UNDER FIRE and claim the bronze. That followed a string of wide gates and with good early speed from gate 1 get her chance to go all the way.

HEADWIN (2) did it tough in the breeze last start and was in for the fight when not far from the handy LEFT A TERROR. He found them a bit sharp when mid-field in a Gold Pot final 2 starts back and should enjoy the return to good gate at this track where he is 2 from 3.

VILLAGE CRUISER (6) is on the back-up from Friday at AP where he looked well placed to finish in the money. He fought gamely 2 starts back and likely to be locked away here will be probing for gaps.

REGAL ROCK (8) chased home gamely behind PARAVANI in a Gold Pot heat and then the final at his past 2 starts. Following the pegs to grab the bronze in the final he will be working home late.

SELECTIONS: ANNAS BEST (1), HEADWIN (2), VILLAGE CRUISER (6), REGAL ROCK (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ANNAS BEST (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

MACH TORQUE (3) has placed at her past 2 starts at Redcliffe, the latest when starting fav and forced to do the hard yard in the breeze. The start prior she was working home in good order from a 2nd line gate when 7m from the winner and getting handy to the speed here can prove too strong.

LOTS MORE GRINS (1) held on for the bronze over the AP mile 4 starts back after securing the pocket trail. In his 3 runs since he has struck trouble and faced wide gates which have proven costly at each outing. With the inside gate advantage he will be trying to stave them off.

WEE JIMMY (8)
was working home in good order over the 2138m trip last start and held on for 3rd when 6m from the handy JUST DEAL IT. The gate hurts but he can be looking to make late metres.

MY SECRET TORQUE (4) hit the line strongly along the inside at Redcliffe 3 starts back when resuming from a spell to be 1m from the winner. This is a big drop in grade from her past 2 starts and she can’t be ignored.

SELECTIONS: MACH TORQUE (3), LOTS MORE GRINS (1), WEE JIMMY (8), MY SECRET TORQUE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MACH TORQUE (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

RIVERLEIGH JEFF (2)
has pretty ordinary numbers next to his name but he should appreciate this class of opponent after what he has been meeting. Buried in the run last start he was facing a task against the tempo and with the front line on the tight track can bully his way to victory.

CAESAR COURT (1) has been freshened since his last appearance when stuck for position from gate 3. Grabbed in the latter stages here 4 starts back when looking to take them all the way, he lands the ideal gate over the short trip to look to dictate.

MONIVAE (9) hit the line in nice style 3 starts back when finishing 3rd in a 2nd division qualifier and only 5m from the winner MACHEASY. He worked hard in the run last start and from the gate can be looking to work home late.

OLIVER WINKLE (6) started fav last start from the 2nd line over the AP mile and struggled to work into the contest. He wont be seeing much space from inside the 2nd line and probing for gaps can podium.

SELECTIONS: RIVERLEIGH JEFF (2), CAESAR COURT (1), MONIVAE (9), OLIVER WINKLE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: RIVERLEIGH JEFF (2) to win
