RACE TWO

ZARAS HEAVEN (2) has faced the starter here at Redcliffe 4 times since returning from a spell. Put out of the race with a wheel issue in 1 of those, she has been runner-up in 2 and claimed victory in the other. Beaten in the closing stages last start to go under a head, she can bounce back all the way.

CANDYFLOSS (1) found the front from gate 3 in an easier contest last start and was trying to take them all the way when she was grabbed in the closing stages to be 2m away in 2nd. That followed a sound effort behind MONTANA LAD and with the early options will be right in the thick of it here.

MAYWYN NO REGRETS (10) shoots for the hat-trick after successive wins here on the triangle over this trip. She attacked the line strongly last start from back in the pack and can chime in again.

JOANIES GIRL (6) has no favours from gate 6 after scoring a nice win in stronger mares company last start. Finishing over the top in the small field to score, she can challenge here despite the wide gate.

SELECTIONS: ZARAS HEAVEN (2), CANDYFLOSS (1), MAYWYN NO REGRETS (10), JOANIES GIRL (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ZARAS HEAVEN (2) to win

RACE THREE

JUST JOSHIN (1) went to AP last start over the 2138m trip and didn’t get the cleanest of runs when not too far behind the smart TIZ A SIZZLER.A beaten odds-on fav when returning from a break here 2 starts back, he will be further tightened and with the peg-line benefits can look to capitalise.

MISTER DECORUM (10) shoots for the hat-trick after winning on the grass at Kilcoy backed up with a tough win here over this trip 2 days later. He has the ability to work in his races so might be looking to get around them early here and limiting the early burn will have bullets to fire when it heats up.

WAVEDANCER (7) was shuffled back from this gate last start and chased hard to finish mid-field behind SPONDOOLEY. Holding the pocket trail here, he will be ready to strike in the stretch.

JOVIAL JULIE (2) found them a bit steep last time out behind TIZ A SIZZLER when 1st up in 6 weeks. Fitter and back to the triangle where she hasn’t missed the board in 6 appearances, she has claims.

SELECTIONS: JUST JOSHIN (1), MISTER DECORUM (10), WAVEDANCER (7), JOVIAL JULIE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-7-10

RACE FOUR

OURS TO KEEP (2)
has placed in 3 of her 4 career starts, the latest when doing it tough in the breeze from gate 6. Fighting hard to the line she was only 6m from the winner. Close-up behind MAYWYNS NO REGRET in a tougher race 2 starts back, this looks the right contest for her to open the account.

ELSIES GIRL (1) is starting to learn her race-craft after 5 career starts and comes up with the peg-line benefits here. Ending up a long way back in the pack last start form gate 5, she was attacking the line strongly in the closing stages. Showing some gate speed, she has the conditions to challenge.

GIRL ON THE GO (7) returns to start her 3YO term after a 2YO season that netted a win and 4 minors in 8 outings. With a nice trial to prepare, she will be probing for the gaps to issue a challenge.

SHADYS DELIGHT (9) started fav last time out when finding the pocket trail from gate 3 and forced to settle for the silver. He has taken on some tougher contests in recent starts and can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: OURS TO KEEP (2), ELSIES GIRL (1), GIRL ON THE GO (7), SHADYS DELIGHT (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

NON PASSARE (8) was strong in the breeze over the AP mile 2 starts back and fought hard to hold the bronze behind GOTTA MOMENT. Starting fav last time, he couldn’t pick them up late when holding silver behind MAYWYN NO REGRETS. With even luck he can arrive to take this.

ULTIMATE AD (2) was sent forward from gate 4 last start and doing his fair share of work in the run was game in holding on for the bronze. Probing for runs the start prior when angled to the pegs for some luck, he has good early speed and if he happens to find the front will take plenty of catching.

ROWDYS ACE (1) was snagged back from gate 6 last start and once he was that far back was always facing a task against the tempo to make ground. With early speed he has the options to feature.

OUR PEPPERJACK (3) was buried away from inside the 2nd line last start in a hot tempo set out in front. Placed in 3 of his past 5 starts, he can settle handy here to chime into the action.

SELECTIONS: NON PASSARE (8), ULTIMATE AD (2), ROWDYS ACE (1), OUR PEPPERJACK (3)
SUGGESTED BET: NON PASSARE (8) to win

RACE SIX

BARBOO (2) found the front last start from gate 2 over the sprint trip and taking control cruised home to a comfortable 5m victory. That came off the back of a close 2nd when grabbed in the closing stages at his 1st start for the new stable. With the gate to dictate, the only concern is the distance.

MISTER ARTIKULATE (5) returned to start his 3YO season last start when making error he was banished to the trials. Earning the ticket back to the track at his 4th trial outing, that hit-out was a solid effort and if his manners are packed for this trip, he can break the maiden tag.

BERTILS DELIGHT (8) started from the 2nd line last time out and was back in the pack and chasing when finishing mid-field. A winner here 4 starts back, if she can secure the right trip she has claims.

AROONA (6) made an error last start soon after release that earns him the outside draw here. Chasing hard thereafter it was a nice 3rd under the circumstances and he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: BARBOO (2), MISTER ARTIKULATE (5), BERTILS DELIGHT (8), AROONA (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

MISTER HART (7) will need some factors in his favour but if they fall into place, he can look to make the closing shot a winning one in a race where there looks plenty of front-line speed. Last start he took on the Christmas Cup behind ALWAYS IN COMMAND and can arrive with the right luck here.

RAGING INFERNO (5) sat in the 1x1 last start at Marburg and finished best to take the win in smart time. Not suited the start prior when too far back in the pack from the 2nd line, he has won 2 from 4 here at the triangle and settling handy will be in the mix.

GUPTAS CULLEN (3) showed a liking for the turf at Kilcoy last start when she bolted clear to a 27m victory. Fitter again after 2 runs back from a break and stable switch, she can challenge here.

TAYLOR HOOD (6) has the wide gate but in a race where there looks plenty of speed and tempo, he can stay out of that battle to challenge late. Only 1m in arrears last start, look for him late.

SELECTIONS: MISTER HART (7), RAGING INFERNO (5), GUPTAS CULLEN (3), TAYLOR HOOD (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER HART (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

A RAINBOW DIAMOND (3) returns for her 3YO term after a lone win at 2YO from 7 attempts. Striking trouble in the Triad Final at her last start of the season, she has been to the paddock and opened the pipes with a tidy trial hit-out. She can return in style here.

NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (2) broke a long run of outs to get on the board for her 1st victory last start when leading all the way to take a 15m victory when 1st up from a spell. Her previous form had been against stronger opponents and stripping fitter can find position to throw down the challenge.

ANDREW JAY (7) finished over the top to claim the prize last start when winning by a head as the red figure fav. He will need some luck from this gate, but if the gaps open he has podium claims.

WEASEL (1) looks set to be locked away here and will be looking for space in the closing stages. Chasing in vain last start from the pocket trail, he should find this a shade easier.

SELECTIONS: A RAINBOW DIAMOND (3), NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (2), ANDREW JAY (7), WEASEL (1)
SUGGESTED BET: A RAINBOW DIAMOND (3) to win

RACE NINE

MEGA STAR (5) has faced the starter 4 times since returning this season with his best result a 2nd when 1st up. In the 3 runs since that, he has struck some handy fields, the last 2 behind MISS RUBY SUNSHINE and then JIGGLE AND JIVE. Despite the wide gate he can open his term in this.

IM SANDY BAY (6) eased back last start from this same gate over the sprint trip and packed too many guns for the run home to arrive for the prize. That was her 2nd career win after breaking the maiden tag 4 starts back, and if she can do everything right can again throw down a challenge.

BOLT THE BOMB (8) started fav last time out and looked to lead all the way from gate 2 when gunned down late and taking 3rd behind MISTER DECORUM. This is easier and he has claims.

MHAI UPTOWN GIRL (9) was back in the pack last start and charging home in the stretch to get within a head of the prize. Luckless at Marburg the start prior, look for her closing late.

SELECTIONS: MEGA STAR (5), IM SANDY BAY (6), BOLT THE BOMB (8), MHAI UPTOWN GIRL (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MEGA STAR (5) to win
