RACE TWO

THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (4)
has been placed at her past 2 starts, the latest when claiming the silver after taking the trail on the leader and winner ALOT OF COST. Pressing on from gate 5 the start prior, she set a solid tempo when holding on for 3rd. Getting forward early here, this might just be her day.

GIGANTIC JASPER (3) wasn’t suited last start when forced to face the breeze and under the hard trip faded in the closing stages. Holding on for the bronze here 3 starts back after settling in the trail, he has the early speed to find the pegs and can return a sharper performance against this field.

PURE MADNESS (8) settled in the running line last start at Marburg and tracked home in good order to grab 2nd. With the right trail through from the 2nd line here, she can be in the mix.

CHASIN DREAMZ (10) didn’t have a lot of luck on Thurs at AP and may have finished closer with a clearer path. Striking trouble here 2 starts back, she can chime into the exotics.

SELECTIONS: THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (4), GIGANTIC JASPER (3), PURE MADNESS (8), CHASIN DREAMZ (10)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 3-4-8-10

RACE THREE

ROWDYS ACE (3) was a winner here back on May 1 when capitalising from gate 1 and taking them all the way. In 7 mobile start appearances since that win, he has been no closer than gate 5. He lands a better alley here and with good speed out of the machine can press forward and look to dictate.

BUKTHSYSTEM (4) hasn’t been in handy form of late from some tough alleys, his past 3 all off the 2nd line. 2 starts back he worked home well from gate 9 when not too far away and moving to the front line will help his chances here. Limiting the early burn, he can ask some questions in this line-up.

HALLY GUINEVERE (5) started from gate 9 last time out when looking to make some closing ground behind ALOT OF COST. Within 2m of the winner the start prior, she can be thereabouts in this.

IMPETUOSO (6) worked home in good order at AP on Thurs and was a narrow 2nd over the 2138m trip. Only beaten a half-neck over the AP mile 2 starts back, he can overcome the sticky gate in this.

SELECTIONS: ROWDYS ACE (3), BUKTHSYSTEM (4), HALLY GUINEVERE (5), IMPETUOSO (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ROWDYS ACE (3) to win

RACE FOUR

RARING TO GO (1)
will be further tightened from his latest start when 3rd up from a break. 2 starts back when 2nd up, he chased gamely behind the big winner BILL HALEY to grab the bronze. Quick out of the machine last start, he can protect the pegs from this alley and look to dictate to end a long winless streak.

ALL GOOD WALLY (5) has the tough alley to negotiate, but he has had his share of wide gates in recent starts and with this not any harder than any of those, he can get into the contest. A beaten fav here 2 starts back when working hard in a strong early tempo, he can challenge in this.

KISS CAM (6) was a winner 5 starts back when hitting the line in good style in the closing stages. Not far away at his next start, he has had excuses his past couple and despite the wide gate, he is in the mix.

KOTARE KASAI (7) will have early options as the lone 2nd line runner to find the best position. Last start from the pocket trail she chased home for the silver and won’t be too far away again in this.

SELECTIONS: RARING TO GO (1), ALL GOOD WALLY (5), KISS CAM (6), KOTARE KASAI (7)
SUGGESTED BET: RARING TO GO (1) to win

RACE FIVE

ALOT OF COST (6) found his race on Wed night and sent straight to the front was able to take control and was never in danger, scoring by a 5m. Grabbed in the closing stages here 3 back when looking to dictate, he can overcome this wide gate and with winning confidence can go back-to-back.

WECANONLYHOPE (8) started from the 2nd line last start at Marburg when finding the line in good order over the closing stages to get within 8m of the winner. Not suited the start prior when snagging back when wide off the front, with an easier run through in transit she has claims.

ITS YOU NOT ME (1) has been around the triangle plenty of times since he last landed a win, yet in recent starts, he hasn’t had conditions to suit. From the ace, he will get a nice trip to offer late.

REGALIA (7) will need a slice of luck from here, yet will enjoy a soft trip and won’t have to spend a cent in the run. He struck trouble in the run last start and can look for atonement here.

SELECTIONS: ALOT OF COST (6), WECANONLYHOPE (8), ITS YOU NOT ME (1), REGALIA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ALOT OF COST (6) to win

RACE SIX

GOALKICKER (8)
resumes following a freshen and should appreciate this class of contest. A short price fav at Marburg 2 starts back, she had little trouble in taking them all the way and then in the AP Final of that series was a disappointing run. A handy mare when right, she can return with a bang.

MIRACLESDOAPPEN (7) was locked away against the markers here on Wed with a slick tempo being set from the front. When the gaps opened, the race was gone and she was allowed to amble home behind the slick rate set by VASARI. This is much more suitable and if sighting space can challenge.

ANNAS BEST (5) has some ordinary numbers next to her name, but striking this type of contest from this gate, they might just look to pull the trigger early. Back to mares only suits and she has claims.

MALIBU DREAM (1) was shooting for the hat-trick when taking on a much stronger contest 2 starts back and found the speed too hot. This looks a better assignment and from the gate can feature.

SELECTIONS: GOALKICKER (8), MIRACLESDOAPPEN (7), ANNA BEST (5), MALIBU DREAM (1)
SUGGESTED BET: GOALKICKER (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

This race looks to be wide open and could go any which way, however with the benefit of the inside gate LITTLEDEE (1) gets top billing. Last start here she struck trouble that saw her retired from the race and sent back to the trials, she earned a return soundly. With the right trip she goes close.

BEYONSKI (5) is narrowing in on a win with placings at her past 2 outings. The latest came when releasing from gate 1 and finishing 3m from CALL ME TRISH. Pressing ahead last start at Marburg, she was at the pointy end and looking good until the race was abandoned. She can challenge.

BLACKJEWEL (9) has the lone placing in 15 attempts but in this open contest, she might just secure the right trip to chime into the exotics. Not far away 2 starts back, she just needs the right trail.

VALKYRIE HANOVER (3) can do things wrong and last start made an error that cost her any chance of featuring. With some more experience she is an exotic hope.

SELECTIONS: LITTLEDEE (1), BEYONSKI (5), BLACKJEWEL (9), VALKYRIE HANOVER (3)
SUGGESTED BET:
