RACE TWO

ELENIARK (3) looks to complete the hat-trick after wins at the 2138m and then the mile last start in easily accounting for her opponents in a mares qualifier. 2 starts back she took out the mares Triad in a dominant performance. She is a class mare and can put them away again here.

BUNDABURRA (1) has been in the money at his 3 starts since returning from a NSW campaign with the latest a late closing run to get within a head of BODHI TREE. His gate speed is a big query as he has not been drawn to fire out early. Provided he has track to work with, he is a huge threat.

BODHI TREE (9) continued his amazing season when successful last week in the M0 and finishing over the top after going back from gate 7. That made it a hat-trick and 14 wins for the season. He is up to this again and will be storming home.

BATTLE BORN (11) went back from gate 7 here 2 starts back and finished down the centre of the track in a strong sprint to score. His run last week had merit and with a cart into the contest can be close up once again.

RACE THREE

NUI TOC TIEN (1) has been solid in 3 runs back from a break and has yet to land a marble in each of those 3. Returning with a 3^rd from gate 7 when closing strongly he never saw space when 2^nd up and was locked away. He found the line in good style on Tues behind OUTLAW FELLA and with the last shot can knock them out late.

GASMONKEY (4) returned from a break with a passing lane 4^th to THE SHADY ONE when 6m away. Taken back from gate 6 last start he made some closing ground when 8m from MAJOR SCORE. He can roll forward here and with the ability to work in his races can ask the question in the run.

CHERISH THE MOMENT (11) was buried away on the pegs last start after being snagged back from gate 7 and was doing her best work late. Luckless 2 starts back, she can look to work into the race late and can feature.

SICILIAN SLUMBER (8) looked to take them all the way 2 starts back over the mile and was trying to fight them off when 5.5m from the winner. He looks set to be buried here but with the cosy run can look for the gaps.

RACE FOUR

CASINO TOMMY (1) settled back in the pack from a wide gate last start and tracked home well to claim the bronze behind CONSTANTLYSIDEWAYS. He didn’t have the best of luck 2 starts back in an M0 when probing for an opening. He can take the cosy trip here and make the closing shot the winning one.

STORMFORTHEBOYS (2) started from gate 2 last week and angled down to the pegs for a cosy trip and at the 400m was shuffled back and forced to come wide down the centre of the track. Closing out strongly he ran CONSTANTLYSIDEWAYS to a neck. He can look for the pegs here and is in the mix.

GANGSTER BOY (6) is absolutely out of luck at present and was once again carted backwards by a tiring runner last week. From this gate he can go forward to make his own luck and will be throwing down the challenge.

POLISHED ROCKS (8) had been out of luck at his past few starts before bouncing back with a strong 2^nd last start when only beaten a head behind WRITTEN IN RED. He can get the soft run here and be probing late.

RACE FIVE

ITS JUST KENNY (2) made his Qld debut in a 2^nd division qualifier and found running line cover from gate 3. He was working home in the closing stages when 5m from the winner OYSTER STRIDE. He will strip fitter from that run which was his 1^st in a month and from the gate can look to take control and dictate.

TOMEARA (8) knows how to run 2^nd and has now been in the silver medal position at his past 5 in succession. Caught wide he was sent to the breeze last start and worked in the run when fighting on to be 1.5m from the leader and winner MAGICNRACING. He will need a slice of luck from this gate but can feature again.

FRANCO TARIQ (9) found the line strongly last start after being buried away on the pegs after going back from a wide gate and looking for luck. Only beaten a head 2 starts back, his hoof is on the till.

OYSTER STRIDE (10) put together 4 successive Redcliffe wins before a couple of sub-par runs. 2 back he was back in good touch when only 2m from INVINCIBLE LOXTON before finishing best to take a 2^nd div qualifier last week. He is in the mix again.

RACE SIX

SOHO SHANGHAI (4) was 1^st up in Qld 2 starts back and was also having his 1^st start following a 6 week freshen. The run had merit after working wide out behind MAGICNRACING and followed that with a top effort when 5.5m from ROCK WITH SAM. In a wide open race, he looks to get every chance.

RED LUCK (1) lands his best gate for some time and can look to make the most of the advantage. From the 2^nd line last start he was tracking home late when mid-field behind HEZ RAZOR SHARP which followed a run at the 2138m when carted back from gate 6. He can be sharper from this alley.

SLIPALYGRIN (8) will be sweating on the 1 looking to go all the way and if that scenario eventuates he will be poised and ready for the closing shot. A tough winner 2 starts back he should enjoy a cosy trip.

PROJECTILE (10) will be further tightened from his latest start when 2^nd up from a break. Starting off the 2^nd line he was finding the line nicely behind OYSTER STRIDE and is some hope in this line-up.

RACE SEVEN

BETTORTHANSPECIAL (7) looked to have every chance on Tues with the right trail into the contest but couldn’t get past the in-form ALLELUIA to go under a head. That followed a close 2^nd to SMOOTH SHOWGIRL and tracking home here she can go one better this time to arrive for the prize.

BETTABE PERFECT (1) was buried away in the run here on Tuesday and probing for the gaps when beaten 4m behind ALLELUIA. He was wide off the track in the Flashing Red 2 starts back. With the cosy trail here look for him sprinting hard when the gap opens.

ANYCHANCE (4) was finishing strongly from the 2^nd line last time out over the mile and went within a neck of the winner CROFT BAY. Only 2m from the winner 2 starts back, he is right in the fight here.

CONSTANTLYSIDEWAYS (6) found his race last start and closed out in good style to arrive for a stylish win. The writing was on the wall after a strong finish 2 starts back and he can be storming home.

RACE EIGHT

INVINCIBLE LOXTON (5) is having a superb season and has been brutal at his past 3 starts in scoring strong wins at both the 1660m and the mile. Last start from gate 4 he rolled to the breeze from gate 4 and was far too strong to score by a comfortable 3m margin. He should be too strong once again.

HEZ RAZOR SHARP (8) took them all the way in a 2^nd division qualifier last start over the mile and was never troubled in front. He can enjoy a cosy run in transit here and if able to get the lane with momentum will be sprinting hard.

WHISKEY BLAZE (1) started from the 2^nd line here 3 starts back and was closing out strongly to score a 1.5m win. Buried away from an inside 2^nd line gate last start he was luckless. He will be gripping on.

BEAU CISHLOM (9) was a winner 2 starts back at his Qld debut when finishing hard to score and defeat subsequent winner MAMMALS FLASH. He can drop down for a soft run and be running on late.

RACE NINE

JUSTABITLIKEMUM (4) was a winner from 30m over the 2138m trip 2 starts back when pressing ahead to find the front and once in control cruised home to score a 10m victory. Last starts she looked to take them all the way at Redcliffe and in a wide open trot with a big field, she can get forward to stay out of trouble.

HIGH CLOUD LASS (3) keeps ticking over the placings and added another 3^rd to her season tally last start at Marburg to make it 12 out of her past 14 in the top 3. Safe from the tapes she can look to be in the right position early and can go close once again.

SOUTHERN ALPS (9) started fav here on Tues from the front line in an even T2-7 with all runners off the front tape. Making a mess of the start he chased hard but couldn’t make up the margin. With a better start he can challenge in this.

DOWN UNDER RORS (1) can be a risk at release but if he can get right he will be in a great position in transit. Only 2m from the winner JUSTABITCOCO last start, his hopes will be determined early.

RACE TEN

ARTIKULATE MISS (7) has the wide gate to negotiate here but she is racing well and has good early speed to call on if needed to spear out to get forward. She completed a hat-trick of victories at Redcliffe 2 starts back before returning to AP with a tidy effort behind INVINCIBLE LOXTON. She looks to have the class edge.

NOVENA ROSE (6) looked to take them all the way 2 starts back when 8m from THE HARLEM HAMMER and followed that with the silver to ELENIARK. With no favours from the gate she can still feature and back to mares only suits following her latest outing.
SKYLARHAIN (4) looked to take them all the way 2 starts back from gate 1 and was grabbed in the closing stages to finish 3^rd. She went around on Thursday where she looked to be keen and made an error before the start which looked to fizz her up. She can be better in this.

BURNING AMBITION (2) makes her Qld debut for Mitch Dawson and was last seen when running 4^th at Tamworth from behind the leader. She can settle handy from the gate and has claims in this.
