RACE TWO

WERELIVINGTHEDREAM (1) has returned for her 4YO term in superb order and recorded a pair of wins and a head 2nd in 3 appearances. Last start in a restricted event at AP she had little trouble in leading from gate 2 and was never in danger when scoring an 11m victory. Fitter again she looks mighty hard to stop.

LUCKY NED PEPPER (7) pressed ahead from gate 4 last start and worked to the front over the 1660m trip. In a steady tempo he couldn’t see it out when grabbed by PUNTERS DELIGHT. Not suited when working in the run at his previous 2 starts, he can look for the cosy trip and be ready to strike.

SAND SAFARI (8) was able to lead them all the way at Marburg 2 starts back which followed a 3m margin when trying to go all the way here over the 1780m. Dropping to the pegs for a cheap run here she can podium.

SPLASH OF GOLD (5) returns from a freshen following a last start 5th when settling with running line cover. Well beaten 2 starts back after sent to the post as fav behind THE FRAME, she is an exotic hope 1st up.

SELECTIONS: WERELIVINGTHEDREAM (1), LUCKY NED PEPPER (7), SAND SAFARI (8), SPLASH OF GOLD (5)
SUGGESTED BET: WERELIVINGTHEDREAM / LUCKY NED PEPPER (1/7) Quinella

RACE THREE

ALLNIGHT MLADY (3) found her race last start and leading wire to wire was too slick for them in landing the win over the 1780m. 3 starts back she was only 4m from INVITE ONLY when pressing ahead. This is no harder than last start and she gets every chance to go back-to-back.

WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (1) claimed the bronze at AP in restricted company 2 starts back from the pocket trail. With good earl speed she will have the early options here and can look to issue a challenge.

COAST WARNING (8) grabbed the bronze last start and will take further benefit from that at his 3rd run back from a change of stables and a break. He can look to drop to the pegs early if needed and is one for the exotics here.

CONCENTRATION (10) doesn’t have convincing numbers to make a case for, however his 2nd at Marburg 2 starts back was an encouraging effort. A long way back last start, he can be an improver here.

SELECTIONS: ALLNIGHT MLADY (3), WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (1), COAST WARNING (8), CONCENTRATION (10)
SUGGESTED BET: ALLNIGHT MLADY (3) to win

RACE FOUR

MICKEE CULLEN (5) was taken back from this gate last time out and finished best to score in a pedestrian closing panel. That followed a tidy 3rd behind the smart LISA LINCOLN and despite landing a tricky gate here, he looks to get every chance to score another victory.

BEEF CITY BLAZE (7) looked to take them all the way last start from gate 1 and led them deep into the stretch before being worried out of it by TAP IT IN. He will need his share of luck from this gate but with a cosy run and a gap at the right time he can look to challenge late.

ITS ALL ABOUT ALICE (6) was buried away last start and never really a factor after having to restrain from gate 5. Disappointing 2 starts back when looking to lead throughout, she can be better in this line-up.

ANN MATTGREGOR (8) will find this easier than her last start when 4.5m from PATERNITY SUIT in a strong mile at AP. Luckless 2 starts back with the right cart into the contest she can won’t be far away here.

SELECTIONS: MICKEE CULLEN (5), BEEF CITY BLAZE (7), ITS ALL ABOUT ALICE (6), ANN MATTGREGOR (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

LETHAL PROMISE (5) paid the price for being unable to hold the inside here 2 starts back and was strung up in traffic behind a tiring leader. Last week from the 2nd line he was sent forward early and bullied his way to the front and in control held them off. He can look to repeat those tactics here.

JANUARY (6) made the most of dropping back to Redcliffe company here 3 starts back when finishing over the top for a good win. The effort was good when returning to AP 2 back and then back here to the triangle was best of the bunch late to score. The wide gate hurts but she will be charging late.

BE ON THE SLY (1) is only lightly raced and gets his chance for an improved showing from the gate. With the speed to look to hold the early advantage he will be looking to hit the lane in the closing stages.

HAVETOGETAWAYMORE (7) will strip fitter from her latest run when striking trouble yet still finishing off in the latter stages behind PITTSWPORTH MAN. Effective when saved for one sharp sprint, she will get conditions to suit here.

SELECTIONS: LETHAL PROMISE (5), JANUARY (6), BE ON THE SLY (1), HAVETOGETAWAYMORE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi trifecta 1-5-6-7

RACE SIX

PROJECTILE (7) was well back in the pack at AP on Sat night when looking to make late ground when finishing mid-field behind THE GUN ROCKSTAR. He hit the line strongly 3 starts back when 8m from OYSTER STRIDE and settling closer here will be ready to take the closing shot.

JUDAH BEN HUR (1) has been well beaten in recent starts but finds a suitable target here from a good gate. With the speed to hold the early advantage if allowed some peace in front he can return a much sharper effort.

VANDE VELDE (6) is on the short back-up after going around at AP on Monday after that meeting was transferred. That was his 2nd run back from a break and if he is set alight early he might just get stoke up enough to find the pegs and from there he can give plenty of cheek.

WHAT A FLIGHT (3) released the front from gate 1 last start and with the cosy trip finished 7m from LETHAL PROMISE, With the right run in transit she can be one for the exotics.

SELECTIONS: PROJECTILE (7), JUDAH BEN HUR (1), VANDE VELDE (6), WHAT A FLIGHT (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

MY ULTIMATE JOE (5) has placed at each of his 3 starts, the latest when closing out well from the 2nd line to get within a half-head of NOTMUCHUPTOP. All 3 career starts have been from the 2nd line and moving to the front he can look to break the maiden.

HIGH ON MONTANA (8) started from gate 7 last start and worked home wide off the track when 3rd to NOTMUCHUPTOP and MY ULTIMATE JOE. That was his 1st run back from a spell and with the added fitness can throw down a challenge here.

ALLYS FELLA (4) made a winning debut at Marburg when pressing on from gate 3 to lead all the way. He made an error last start and correcting that here has podium claims.

SIR HASZEM (2) returned a tidy effort here 2 starts back when having just his 3rd career start and going under a head. He can hold the inside advantage early and has the options.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE JOE (5), HIGH ON MONTANA (8), ALLYS FELLA (4), SIR HASZEM (2)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE JOE (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

NO TRANSACTIONS (4) was good at his Qld debut at Marburg when run down in the closing stages and only 3m rom the winner. Last week he stepped cleanly and once in control was never in danger. He is 10m back this week, but with added fitness and improvement can cash-in again.

HIGH CLOUD LASS (3) found the pocket trail from the 10m last week and returned another bronze to make it 16 placed runs for the season. Safe from the tapes you get a fair run for your ticket when putting her in the numbers.

MISS INVASION (6) was bred in Qld and returns ‘home’ after the 4YO has done all her racing in Vic and NSW. Not sighted since Feb, she will take benefit from the run and if forward enough has some hope here.

DOWN UNDER RORS (2) was looking to take them all the way on Sat night after stepping to the front over the longer 2647m trip. Collared late, it was a nice effort and back to the 1780m and a clean start will be in the fight.

SELECTIONS: NO TRANSACTIONS (4), HIGH CLOUD LASS (3), MISS INVASION (6), DOWN UNDER RORS (2)
SUGGESTED BET: NO TRANSACTIONS (4) to win
