RACE TWO

SHEZA GALVINATOR (1) returned after almost 12 months on the sidelines to finish a half-neck from MATRON JUJON after going back from gate 5. Pouncing on the pegs when 2nd up she set the tempo and was never in danger. With the ace gate and added fitness, she looks hard to stop.

MATRON JUJON (7) looks the obvious threat to the 1 and will be stalking every step ready for the sniper shot up the passing lane. A last start winner defeating SHEZA GALVINATOR when able to lead from gate 1, the roles are reversed.

ITS ALLABOUT ALICE (8) went back from gate 6 last week and was a long way back when trying to make closing ground. Dropping to the pegs for the cheap run, this looks a peg-fecta type race.

MAHALO (4) has finished 3rd at her past 3 starts in a spaced campaign. Chasing home the smart looking MACHITELLI last start, she will be looking to close late.

SELECTIONS: SHEZA GALVINATOR (1), MATRON JUJON (7), ITS ALLABOUT ALICE (8), MAHALO (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Pegline trifecta 1-7-8

RACE THREE

ONYAJANS (7) took the pocket trail last start and was winding up late to grab the bronze when 3m from the winner LITTLE CHANGE. Fitter for that run which was her 1st run back from a break, she will be sweating on getting to the lane with momentum to take the last shot.

LYNCHMAN (1) looked to take them all the way from gate 2 at AP 5 starts back and was kicking to go under a half-neck. This is a similar type race and with the speed to look to dictate will be gripping to the lead again in this.

ALLNIGHT MLADY (5) did some early work before being able to drop in for cover with 800m to go. Looking gone on the turn she lifted off the canvas in a stretch slog to arrive on the line. Shooting for a hat-trick she gets no favours from the gate.

VANTO HANOVER (2) gets back to the main draw after making an early error 3 starts back. Suited if able to secure some early cover, she can close out late and has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: ONYAJANS (7), LYNCHMAN (1), ALLNIGHT MLADY (5), VANTO HANOVER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ONYAJANS (7) to win

RACE FOUR

POMPIDOU (5)
might be winless in 24 starts but he gets into this race nicely and should appreciate this class of opponent. Taken back from gate 7 last start he was too far back to feature. Only 11m from OUR UNCLE SAM in 1.52.6 2 starts back, he looks to have every chance.

CALCAVADO (2) had a dip for the front last start before taking cover and ran home to grab the bronze to keep his placing consistency ticking over. He can take the early shot here and lighting the lamps can give some cheek.

THE FRAME (7) was too strong for them last start when rolling to the breeze and controlling it from the chair. He will need some luck here as he looks to get buried but has podium claims.

COTTON COLD CANDY (6) hit the line strongly to score at AP 3 starts back after restraining from a wide gate. Forget her latest start when making an error, she will be better here.

SELECTIONS: POMPIDOU (5), CALCAVADO (2), THE FRAME (7), COTTON COLD CANDY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: POMPIDOU (5) to win

RACE FIVE

FLASHING GOOD TIME (1) does her best work when using inside runs and has conditions to suit here. 5 back she run the winner to a head and 2 back was beaten a neck behind LETHAL PROMISE. With good early speed to hold the early advantage, she has the options and gets every chance.

DIABOLO STAR (2) lands his best gate for a while and can look to stretch the 1 early and if no lead on offer can create the gap to drop in to trail. He took on stronger company 2 back at AP and last start was making some late ground.

GOTOTHEMOON (9) settled in the running line from inside the 2nd line last start when 10m from NEVAEH. Fitter from that run he has some hope from the tough gate.

LATIN BEATS (3) worked home from the 2nd line last start when 6m from the winner. Settling handy in the run here she won’t be far from the action.

SELECTIONS: FLASHING GOOD TIME (1), DIABOLO STAR (2), GOTOTHEMOON (9), LATIN BEATS (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi trifecta 1-2-3-9

RACE SIX

MACHITELLI (6)
has the wide gate to overcome yet will be fitter for her 1st Aust start when having little trouble in scoring a restricted win at AP. Starting a short price elect she did it easily. Fitter for that run, this is no harder and there are bigger races than this in store for her.

BEEF CITY BLAZE (5) has been runner-up at her past 2 with the latest run a nice effort when hitting the line strongly in the closing stages. The wide gate is a concern following 3 successive inside gates, but she is some hope in this line-up.

WAVEDANCER (9) returns from a break after going under a half-head last start as the fav back in April. The gate makes it trick for his return but he can podium.

NIGHT NINJA (2) will take benefit from his 1st Qld start when not having the best of luck and being buried away in the run. Look for a sharper effort from this alley.

SELECTIONS: MACHITELLI (6), BEEF CITY BLAZE (5), WAVEDANCER (9), NIGHT NINJA (2)
SUGGESTED BET: MACHITELLI (6) to win

RACE SEVEN

POINT OH FIVE (6) is still looking to break the maiden and finds himself banished to the outside for his starting manners. With 4 starts to his name, he has had mixed fortunes at the races to date. With the race experience to call on, he gets a chance here despite the wide alley.

ON THE TOP (4) makes her debut for Donny Smith and is trained on the track. Put away after a trial back in April when a sound effort behind CAPITALIZE, the daughter of South Park Hanover stays under notice here.

LETS DIG IT (7) will need a slice of luck from the gate but was encouraging on debut. Finishing 8m from ARK ME he struck trouble at the start and was never afforded much room in the run. Can be an improver 2nd up.

ELLE JAY (1) has faced the starter once when fading out in a slick run event where the smart MINTED MONTANA scored. Freshened from that run she is worth of consideration.

SELECTIONS: POINT OH FIVE (6), ON THE TOP (4), LETS DIG IT (7), ELLE JAY (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

NO TRANSACTIONS (2)
was 3rd up in Qld last week and after being safely away worked into the pocket trail and then was doing his best work in the final 100m. He meets his conqueror from last week on equal terms and can turn the tables.

DOWN UNDER RORS (3) got the better of NO TRANSACTIONS last week in a good run when doing some work in the run and the putting the leader to bed and holding off the late challenge. He has been a risk but his manners were A1 last week and is a big threat again.

OLE SUN (6) is in good touch and steeped to the front from a 10m tape at AP on Fri to score. That was reward for being runner-up his previous 2 starts and he won’t be far away again.

MISS INVASION (5) will strip fitter for her 1st Qld start when sent out fav here last week. She made a mess of that and forgiven for that can challenge.

SELECTIONS: NO TRANSACTIONS (2), DOWN UNDER RORS (3), OLE SUN (6), MISS INVASION (5)
SUGGESTED BET: NO TRANSACTIONS (2) to win

RACE NINE

SAINT KILDA BEACH (6)
had been threatening to score a maiden breaking win and delivered that last start when leading all the way at AP. She has no luxury from this gate but has the runs on the board to down her opponents in this.

MUCHO GUAPA (1) cut the breeze outside SAINT KILDA BEACH last start and that decided that she is not ready to work in her races just yet. From the gate she can enjoy the cosy trip and can look to take the closing shot here.

PRESLEYBEGOOD (4) resumes from a freshen and transfers to Shawn Grimsey after arriving in Qld for the Breeders Consolation. He has been sharpened with a nice trial and stays under notice.

LITTLE BOLT (2) scored a 3rd last start albeit a long way from the winner GODDESS JUJON. With further improvement he strikes the type of race to include in the exotics.

SELECTIONS: SAINT KILDA BEACH (6), MUCHO GUAPA (1), PRESLEYBEGOOD (4), LITTLE BOLT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SAINT KILDA BEACH (6) to win
