RACE TWO

WHISKEY BLAZE (2) will be further tightened from his latest appearance when 3rd up from a break. Not suited on his return behind NORTHVIEW HUSTLER, he was attacking the line strongly 2nd up when within 5m of TOM ME GUN. Charging again last start, he just needs space at the right time.

VETTEL (10) started from gate 7 last start and toured the oval wide throughout, fighting on gamely under the wide run to be only 7m from the winner. He charged home from back in the pack the start prior to grab the bronze and with better luck in transit he can throw down a solid challenge.

SOMEMONDOSOMEWHERE (4) as forced to do a mountain of work here 2 starts back and under the effort he faded late. Luckless last start from the 2nd line, he can feature if limiting the early burn.

PLATINUM ROULETTE (3) was angled to the pegs for the short-cuts here on Tues and wasn’t far away from the winner CHAPTER ONE. With good early speed he can fire the 1st shot.

SELECTIONS: WHISKEY BLAZE (2), VETTEL (10), SOMEMONDOSOMEWHERE (4), PLATINUM ROULETTE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: WHISKEY BLAZE (2) to win

RACE THREE

SKYFELLA CAM (4) started from gate 1 last start and was soon locked away 3 back against the pylons over the mile. With the tempo set for a last panel scamper, he was always facing a task to pick up any late ground. He found the line in good order 2 starts back behind CLARRY and this looks within reach.

OFFTHETOPOFMYHEAD (1) hasn’t had much luck from the barrier gods since arriving in Qld but finally has been able to land a marble. Back in the pack last start, he chased gamely, following that with a solid closing challenge from well back. Settling closer to the action, he gets his chance.

SMOOTH SAILOR (5) didn’t see space last start after being locked away on the pegs and not far from the winner BARRETT. That followed a similar run from gate 12 and the improved gate is a big plus.

HARD TO HEAR (2) found the line in good order last start when not far from the winner KARINYA MULLY in a qualifier. That followed a tidy behind MACHIN OUT and settling handy has claims.

SELECTIONS: SKYFELLA CAM (4), OFFTHETOPOFMYHEAD (1), SMOOTH SAILOR (5), HARD TO HEAR (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-5

RACE FOUR

A tricky mares race to line up over the mile with a few looking to recapture some form. Leaning towards MISS PATRIOT (5) lining up here from an improved gate after facing the 2nd line at her past 2 attempts in mares qualifiers. A passing lane winner 3 starts back at Redcliffe, she is worth a ticket.

IM WITH LEXY (9) was able to capitalise on some good fortune 2 starts back when the leader drifted up the track and darting through to take over, she was able to stave off the challenge of ITS JUST KENNY to score. Luckless last start when probing for space, she can get the right trip to challenge.

PERFECT JESSE (1) made the most of inside runs here 2 starts back and sticking to the pegs grabbed the bronze. Forced to retreat early from gate 5 last start, she hit the line strongly and has hopes.

CHARLYSE (10) was snagged back from gate 4 last start and settled a long way back in the pack. Making some closing ground, the run had merit and with the right cart home here is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MISS PATRIOT (5), IM WITH LEXY (9), PERFECT JESSE (1), CHARLYSE (10)
SUGGESTED BET: MISS PATRIOT (5) to win

RACE FIVE

ANOTHER STATEMENT (9) was able to end a frustrating few starts that had seen him finish runner-up on two occasions with a well-timed run to arrive last time out. Finding the line strongly to open his win account, he can find a handy position from this gate and look to make it back-to-back wins.

MISTERY ROAD (7) should take good benefit from his latest outing and 1st in Qld when resuming from a let-up. Undefeated at his 1st 4 career starts, he faded after a tough run when breezing outside the start JILLIBY NITRO. His closing sections were strong in defeat last time and he can bounce back.

MUMMYS BOY (5) was down the line on debut, yet took good experience from the outing and converted that to a 2nd up victory, sprinting sharply between the 500m and 300m. He is in the fight.

REDS GOOD TO GO (6) rolled forward to face the breeze at Redcliffe last start and was in for the fight when holding 2nd to ROCKS OR DIAMONDS. The gate hurts but he won’t be far away.

SELECTIONS: ANOTHER STATEMENT (9), MISTERY ROAD (7), MUMMYS BOY (5),
SUGGESTED BET: ANOTHER STATEMENT (9) to win

RACE SIX

NIFTY STUDLEIGH (11)
started from gate 7 last start and after settling back in the pack over the mile, worked home strongly to arrive for the prize. His run last start at Redcliffe was full of merit after not receiving the cleanest run in transit and despite the tough alley, can work home over the top here.

SPORTS STORY (4) resumes from a break and has been to the trials to prepare for the return. Last seen from the tapes at Marburg, she made an early error and was then brave in holding on for the bronze behind ESCALERA. Not far away from HIPSTAR 2 starts back, she has claims here.

AUNTY BESSY (7) has placed at 4 runs back from a spell, the latest when having her 1st Qld outing. Looming up strongly she went off-stride and had to grab 3rd on protest. The gate hurts but she is in the mix.

SPECIAL RESERVE (10) was back in the pack from a 2nd line gate last start and hit the line in nice style when mid-field behind the smart FOR ALL WE KNOW. With even luck she can feature.

SELECTIONS: NIFTY STUDLEIGH (11), SPORTS STORY (4), AUNTY BESSY (7), SPECIAL RESERVE (10)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

STAR OF MONTANA (2) was beaten a head at his Qld debut back in May when crossed in the early stages he was out-sprinted to the line. 2 starts back he was sent straight to the front from gate 3 and taking control was able to slice home a sharp closing panel. With the gate to capitalise he can take this.

RECIPE FOR DREAMING (9) has been in consistent form of late with a top-3 in 9 of his past 12 appearances. Last start he took on a qualifier and from gate 5 was back in the pack when finishing 10m from the winner BARRETT. With 3 of his past 5 from gate 7, he can be chiming in late here.

IM NO OUTLAW (8) was too strong from the breeze here 3 starts back in a Gold Pot heat and then worked home in good order in the final. With a slice of luck from this gate, he can chime in late.

GOLD REACTOR (3) was 2nd up from a 12 month break last start and after securing a cosy run in transit, packed too many guns in the stretch to come away for a 6m win. He can be sharper again.

SELECTIONS: STAR OF MONTANA (2), RECIPE FOR DREAMING (9), IM NO OUTLAW (8), GOLD REACTOR (3)
SUGGESTED BET: STAR OF MONTANA (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

LITTLELIONELJAMES (4)
was a Redcliffe winner 4 starts back when holding the inside advantage from gate 1 and taking them all the way. Locked away at his next outing from inside the 2nd line he was hitting the line nicely once the gaps arrived and has been within a head at his past 2. He can cash-in.

MINTED MONTANA (9) has had an interrupted preparation as he looks to make a return from a long-term injury layoff. Making errors at his return he has since been to the trials on 3 occasions in attempt to get things back on track. The latest trial was a sharp effort and he can chime in late here.

SIRIUS VICKI (3) was buried away on the pegs last start and never saw space to issue a challenge. Not suited the start prior when forced to work in the breeze, with an easy trip she can feature.

CHANCLESS CENTURY (1) has placed in 3 of 6 career starts as he looks for the maiden breaking success. Too far back from gate 9 last time, with the options for an easy trip, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: LITTLELIONELJAMES (4), MINTED MONTANA (9), SIRIUS VICKI (3), CHANCLESS CENTURY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: LITTLELIONELJAMES (4) to win

RACE NINE

ROYAL LINCOLN (1)
has been sparingly raced this campaign with 4 runs in the past 12 weeks, but will come into this with just a 10-day gap between runs. Taken back from gate 5 last start over the mile, he was charging home when within 2.5m of the winner. With the options he gets his chance here.

STOMPEM (10) was having his 2nd Qld start here last week when floating back from gate 7 he was a long way out the back of the pack. Taking inside runs, he just followed the fence home all the way to arrive on the line for a tidy win. Despite the gate he can be charging home again to challenge.

LIFEONTHEBEACH (6) resumes from a spell and has blown out the cobwebs with a handy trial. Last seen when beaten a head over the 2138m behind HAPPY FEELINGS, he can be around the money.

JUST SEDUCE ME (12) returns to the Narissa McMullen stable and has been sharpened for this with a strong trial win in slick time. The gate hurts but she can be chiming in late.

SELECTIONS: ROYAL LINCOLN (1), STOMPEM (10), LIFEONTHEBEACH (6), JUST SEDUCE ME (12)
SUGGESTED BET: ROYAL LINCOLN (1) to win

RACE TEN

OLIVER WINKLE (2)
is in great form at present and looks to get the favours from this gate. Taking a trail once finding the front 2 starts back, he took the snipers shot off a sizzling tempo set by VASARI to score. Last start he led them up over in a strong tempo and only faded late. This is within reach.

CLARRY (8) was a qualifying winner 2 starts back when swooping over the top to score in stylish order. He had been building towards that after a string of luckless and close finishes and then last start was wide off the track chasing. With a rub of the green from the gate he can challenge.

SPRING CAMPAIGN (10) doesn’t have the greatest numbers next to his name, but he has been doing things wrong in his races since scoring a tidy win here 5 starts back. Putting it together he can place.

KARINYA MULLY (3) was a qualifying winner over this trip when leading throughout 2 starts back. Not far away last start, he is racing well and won’t be far away from the good alley.

SELECTIONS: OLIVER WINKLE (2), CLARRY (8), SPRING CAMPAIGN (10), KARINYA MULLY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: OLIVER WINKLE (2) to win

RACE ELEVEN

LINCOLNS GIRL (4)
was looking to complete a hat-trick last start when starting at a very short quote over the 2040m trip at Redcliffe. After doing it easy in front, she couldn’t see it out and a subsequent veterinary issue was identified. Back to AP suits and she can bounce back with venom.

APHORISM (1) started fav last time out when leading them up over the 2138m from gate 4. Keen in the run the opening 800m of the last mile was strong and then he was unable to finish them off, fading out. Stripping fitter for the outing following 2 months between runs, he can be sharper here.

AMILLION PROMISES (10) will take further benefit from his latest win after 4 runs back from a long break. Swooping home to a 4m victory last start, he can watch the action and take the last shot.

ROCKNROLL PROMISE (8) was locked away on the pegs last start, charging home once the gaps opened to grab the silver. The cosy run will suit and he will be again probing for the gaps.

SELECTIONS: LINCOLNS GIRL (4), APHORISM (1), AMILLION PROMISES (10), ROCKNROLL PROMISE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: LINCOLNS GIRL (4) to win
