RACE ONE

RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (8)
found a suitable race 3 starts back and from gate 5 speared across to the lead and once in control was never in danger he followed that with a 2nd to BUNDABURRA then last start returned a tidy effort when 6m from ANYCHANCE. Sweating on the 1 leading he can take this.

FIRE AND ICE (1) was an all the way winner off this gate 5 starts back with a strong closing 800m. His past 2 runs have been through a Rising Stars series where he was a 5m 3rd to MARETTI in the heat and then the tempo of the final made it impossible for those chasing. He can look to dictate.
KYMS BOY (4)  back to the front he can settle close to the speed and be looking to swoop late.
SURFACE TO AIR (5) can be sharper here.

SELECTIONS: RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (8), FIRE AND ICE (1), KYMS BOY (4), SURFACE TO AIR (5)
SUGGESTED BET: RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (8) to win

RACE TWO

THE HARLEM HAMMER (1) was a heat winner of this series when leading throughout off gate 2 and sprinting a strong closing panel. That followed a passing lane win over the 2138m trip and with the good gate here and no early challengers, they will be hard pressed running her down.

ONLY ONE PROMISE (9) is a talented 3YO taking on the older horses here and was a strong winner of the other heat when pressing around to the breeze at the 1000m and then proving too strong to put them away. With that his 1st run off a freshen he will strip fitter and can throw down a big challenge.
BANGKOK BRAVADO (6) can press forward early here and will likely get cover and that brings him into place calculations.
MACH SAM (5) with a soft trip can look to sprint home late.

SELECTIONS: THE HARLEM HAMMER (1), ONLY ONE PROMISE (9), BANGKOK BRAVADO (6), MACH SAM (5)
SUGGESTED BET: THE HARLEM HAMMER/ONLY ONE PROMISE (1/9) quinella

RACE THREE

ALWAYS MY MATE (1) closed strongly 3 starts back to claim the bronze behind BULL MARKET and followed that with the silver when he secured a perfect trip off this same gate but was hesitant to get into the passing lane. Luckless last start, with the cosy trip he can issue the closing challenge.

REMEMBER THEM (4) sped out from gate 3 in looking to take them all the way over the 2138m trip 2 starts back and then last start took on open company when GLENFERRIE HOOD was too slick. With the speed to find the pegs here and back to the mile, he will be gripping to the front.
MAKO BANNER (5) Top 2 at each of his past 9, he can get forward here and will be in the fight.
ALLELUIA (9) with better luck here he can podium.

SELECTIONS: ALWAYS MY MATE (1), REMEMBER THEM (4), MAKO BANNER (5), ALLELUIA (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ALWAYS MY MATE (1) to win

RACE FOUR

TREVS NO ANGEL (7)
will be better suited by the outside front and at the 2138m start point can work up the speed at release to fire across and find the pegs 1st here. His win over the sprint trip 2 starts back was a nice effort and last week wasn’t suited by the 2nd line. He will take some stopping.

LUCIFERS LEGEND (5) returned from a spell in good style when holding the front off gate 1 and leading throughout in a career best win rate. He was in great touch before going for a break with a pair of wins and a 3rd to MOJO MAJOR. He can roll forward to settle handy and will be in the mix.
COLD IDEAL (3) was hitting the line strongly on Tuesday and he can feature again.
GEORGIA GRACE (4) if she is close enough she can swoop hard.

SELECTIONS:  TREVS NO ANGEL (7), LUCIFERS LEGEND (5), COLD IDEAL (3), GEORGIA GRACE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: TREVS NO ANGEL (7) to win

RACE FIVE

FIREBBY (8) was taken back from gate 7 last start and came with a closing challenge when really attacking the line hard to grab the silver behind the all the way winner ROYAL COUNSEL.  She will be glued to the back of the 1 and her biggest danger will be if CASINO TOMMY is crossed at the start.

CASINO TOMMY (1) has found rhythm and has been top 3 at 4 of his past 5. Last week off gate 10 he was working home wide off the track and was closing hard in a blanket finish to grab the bronze. He will need to hustle hard to hold the front here but should be able to hold them and dictate.
SPARKLING CULLECT (9) with better luck he can feature.
ANYCHANCE (6) Forgiven for Tuesday when below par, he is in this at his best and can turn it around.

SELECTIONS: FIREBBY (8), CASINO TOMMY (1), SPARKLING CULLECT (9), ANYCHANCE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: FIREBBY (8) to win

RACE SIX

GET IN THE GROOVE (7)
worked hard in the run 2 starts back when beaten 6.5m behind ELENIARK. She followed that with a tough win here on Tues when pressing ahead from this same gate over the 2138m to out-tough them. Back to mares only company she can be too strong again.

ARGYLE BEACH (8) makes her Qld debut for Chantal Turpin and arrives with 2 wins from 14 outings. Given a stand start trial to prepare, her closing sections were good without being extended. She will need a slice of luck from the gate but if able to find space can be sprinting home hard.
BELLA RIPPIN (6) With even luck in transit she can issue a challenge in this class.
HEY PORSHA (3) has good early speed, she can look to fire the first shot.

SELECTIONS: GET IN THE GROOVE (7), ARGYLE BEACH (8), BELLA RIPPIN (6), HEY PORSHA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: GET IN THE GROOVE (7) to win

RACE SEVEN

MARETTI (5) looks to get into this race very nicely and from the middle of the line can look to work across early to take control. His run when 3rd to THREE OF THE BEST last start in a Rising Stars Final was a top effort and he looks to have the measure of his opponents in this.

RIVERLEIGH JEFF (11) worked home off a similar gate last start to arrive in time and claim a 2nd division qualifier. That followed a pair of gate 7s with his run 3 back behind CLINTAL DO a good effort. There will be good tempo early here which will help him in the closing stages.
MONUMENTAL (2) can look to be first to the pegs which will open up a cosy trip.
JACKS AT THE BEACH (12) was grabbed up the passing lane last start he can issue a challenge here.

SELECTIONS: MARETTI (5), RIVERLEIGH JEFF (11), MONUMENTAL (2), JACKS AT THE BEACH (12)
SUGGESTED BET: MARETTI (5) to win

BETTABE PERFECT (1) has placed in 3 of his past 5 starts and been running some nice races. Last week he was too far back off gate 6 to make any ground and that followed a strong 2nd to the flying GANGSTER BOY. With the right trail here he will be ready to issue the final shot.

FRANKIE ROCKS (8) would be at a short quote if drawn any differently. He looks likely to be buried away here as he looks to make it 6 successive wins and 4 this campaign. Last week he sprinted sharply once the gap opened and if he is able to find space early, he is the one to beat.
CONSTANTLYSIDEWAYS (9) should get a nice trail early and be ready to challenge.
MAFUTA VAUTIN (5) is not far away from a win and with the right run will be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: BETTABE PERFECT (1), FRANKIE ROCKS (8), CONSTANTLYSIDEWAYS (9), MAFUTA VAUTIN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-5-8-9

RACE NINE

BETTORTHANSPECIAL (8)
was hitting the line strongly last start in a mid-week FFA taken out by FRANKIE ROCKS after sliding back from gate 7 to find position. She will take benefit from that run being her 2nd run back from a break and as the lone 2nd line runner can be away from the pegs early.

WITHALOTOFLUCK (1) has enough early speed to hold the early advantage and then look for the pocket trail. He did some work in the run last start when returning a tidy effort and that followed a 3rd behind GLENFERRIE HOOD. The inside gate is a big plus with his closing sprint.
VILLAGE WITCH (4) hit the line strongly last week and if able to settle handy can be in the mix.
MAJESTIC MAJOR (3) Sent to the front he will be gripping on again here.

SELECTIONS: BETTORTHANSPECIAL (8), WITHALOTOFLUCK (1), VILLAGE WITCH (4), MAJESTIC MAJOR (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BETTORTHANSPECIAL (8) to win

RACE TEN

MAYBETOTHEMAX (5)
has been dominating since arriving in Qld and has put together 3 victories and a half-head 2nd in 4 appearances. On Tues he looked to get into the race nicely and from a 30m impost swooped around them and went past to score a nice win. If he can look to stay ahead of his main dangers here, he will have them chasing.

FOURSHARESMOREBEERS (6) was a winner under mobile conditions 3 starts back when running down MAYBETOTHEMAX to score by a half-head. He will be better suited here than when cutting the breeze over the 2647m trip last start and will be right in the fight.
RELEVEN DREAM (8) A winner 3 back under mobile conditions, with the right trail into the contest he can challenge.
BLUE DON (1) front line suits under these conditions and he can bounce back to winning form.

SELECTIONS: MAYBETOTHEMAX (5), FOURSHARESMOREBEERS (6), RELEVEN DREAM (8), BLUE DON (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MAYBETOTHEMAX (5) to win
