RACE TWO

LINCOLN ROAD (12) was a certainty beaten last week after being absolutely deserted by luck in the run. Carried back through the filed by a tiring leader he was then angled wide and was sprouting wings to get within 2m of the winner and grab the bronze. He looks a pacer on the rise and can return to winning form here.

ROCK WITH SAM (6) is knocking on the door after placing in 3 of his past 4 starts with the latest effort when beaten a pimple. Holding the pocket trail, he set out after MARETTI and was getting closer with every stride but just couldn’t quite get there. Only beaten a neck 3 starts back he can go close.

ANNIKA MAGIC (4) pressed forward to find the front here 3 starts back in a mares only event and once in control held on to score. Landing the 2nd line at her next 2 starts, the return to the front line is in her favour and she won’t be far away.

ROCKNROLL EMMA (8) has found some form and comes into this a winner of 3 of her past 5 starts. Too strong from the front last start in running a career best rate, she will be probing for openings to chime in.

SELECTIONS: LINCOLN ROAD (12), ROCK WITH SAM (6), ANNIKA MAGIC (4), ROCKNROLL EMMA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: LINCOLN ROAD (12) to win

RACE THREE

COOL SCOOTER (6) will strip fitter following his Qld debut where he was strong over the 2138m and able to split the win. Facing the breeze from gate 3 he was solid to the line in a tough performance that was his 1st run since December. He faces a tricky gate but off the strength of his debut will be fighting this out.

OUR BONDI BEACH (2) went straight to the front from gate 1 at his Qld debut 4 starts back and from the front was never in danger. His next outing was a solid effort in slick time behind TOMEARA with his latest run where he faced too much heat over the 2138m. Back to the mile he will be gripping on.

PSCYHEDELIC (8) will be looking for a slice of luck to sight an opening in time but if able to find space with track to work with, will be finishing hard. Settling in the pocket trail last week he was couldn’t reel in the leader. Look for him swooping home.

GOTTA GOOD REASON (12) made a mess of the start last time out that ended his chances. Prior to that he was racing well without any luck and not beaten far, with his half-neck defeat 2 starts back full of merit from the 2nd line. He can feature.

SELECTIONS: COOL SCOOTER (6), OUR BONDI BEACH (2), PSCYHEDELIC (8), GOTTA GOOD REASON (12)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

TOM ME GUN (12) is firing plenty of bullets of late and comes into this with wins in 3 of his past 5 starts and in the other 2 has been beaten a neck and a nose. Locked away on the pegs last start he sprinted hard to arrive for the prize over the mile. With the right cart into the contest he is the one to beat.

ONE WISE MAN (1) has been freshened since his last outing where he looked to take them all the way from gate 1 over this trip. Leading them deep into the stretch he was grabbed late with the smart LINCOLN ROAD taking the win. Closing strongly 2 starts back when 2m from AQUA MISS he has the options and is a big danger.

MAJORDOIT (2) made the most of conditions at Redcliffe 3 starts back when taking them all the way from gate 2 and running home a strong closing 800m. Luckless last start he can look to fire out early and can place.

MACHEASY (9) caught everyone off-guard last start when set alight from gate 7 to find the pegs and was able to fight them all off to score. With an early trail through he will be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: TOM ME GUN (12), ONE WISE MAN (1), MAJORDOIT (2), MACHEASY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: TOM ME GUN (12) to win

RACE FIVE

MY SECRET TORQUE (8) made the most of gate 1 to take out her heat when leading easily and then was never in danger to score a dominant 14m victory. Her run here 2 starts back when grabbing the bronze behind PARAVANI was a nice effort after hitting the line in good style. She can make the snipers shot a winning one.

OSCARS GLORY (1) was able to take them all the way in the heat but wouldn’t have wanted it much further, holding on for the narrowest of victories. Still an AP maiden after 15 attempts, he gets his chance to take them all the way and hustling early will be gripping on in the closing stages.

CALL ME YOURS (9) can look at the early option to go 3 pegs if on offer or stay in the running line. Taken back to the pegs here 2 starts back from gate 7 she was attacking the line to get within 3m of the winner. She is a knockout hope.

TASCOTT LADY (7) has placed at her past 3 starts and although she has no favours from the wide gate here, she can do some work in her races. Grabbed late after leading them up at Redcliffe 2 starts back she can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: MY SECRET TORQUE (8), OSCARS GLORY (1), CALL ME YOURS (9), TASCOTT LADY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MY SECRET TORQUE (8) to win

RACE SIX

LEXUS ON THE BEACH (4) was doing plenty of work wide off the track last start and was in for the fight when only 3m from the winner. That followed a tough run when sent to the breeze from the 2nd line and fighting on. He can work in his races and hanging tough here can grind out the victory.

EVERYTHING (2) was snagged back from gate 6 in claiming company last start and was locked away on the pegs when making late metres. His past 3 starts have been from wide gates where he has retreated early and with the improved gate can hustle early and look to turn his fortunes around from the front.

MARK OF INTEGRITY (12) didn’t flatter at his 1st appearance for the Adam Sanderson barn but certainly had excuses when caught wide for a long way. A winner here 5 starts back he can be working home late.

WHISKEY BLAZE (7) has no favours from this gate but in an open contest and with some Kerryn Manning magic, can look to feature. A winner 4 starts back via the passing lane, his latest start had merit behind the in-form SIR JULIAN and he can feature.

SELECTIONS: LEXUS ON THE BEACH (4), EVERYTHING (2), MARK OF INTEGRITY (12), WHISKEY BLAZE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: LEXUS ON THE BEACH (4) to win

RACE SEVEN

BRIAN WHO (10) was sent forward in the early stages from gate 7 here on Tues when it looked that the lamp lighting duties may have been on offer. Pressing ahead they were not available and he was forced to work in a strong opening 800m. Although officially last, he was only 9m from the winner and saved for 1 run can bounce back.

RENEE DALE (7) makes the trip north for NSW trainer Gemma Rue and arrives as a beaten fav at her last start. That was at Bathurst where she led them up from gate 3 over the 1730m trip but was gunned down in the closing stages. She decimated them the start prior at Parkes and with even luck in transit from the wide gate will be hard to hold out.

LEFT A TERROR (12) completed a hat-trick of victories last start when leading throughout over the sprint trip and running home in some tidy closing panels. He is a 3YO taking on the older horses from the tough gate, yet is a smart customer that can’t be ignored.

LANCELOT BROMAC (4) bounced back to winning form here on Tues when he secured the perfect trip against the markers and sprinted over the top. The veteran of the field, he can chime in with the right trip.

SELECTIONS: BRIAN WHO (10), RENEE DALE (7), LEFT A TERROR (12), LANCELOT BROMAC (4)
SUGGESTED BET: BRIAN WHO (10) to win

RACE EIGHT

CALLMEQUEENBEE (12) has no favours from this gate but is clearly the class mare in the field and has the talent to overcome the gate. Facing wide gates at Menangle at her past 3 starts, she has been in the money at each. Brave last start after cutting the breeze she was beaten a neck after a sub 27 closing split. Can make her own luck to sting these.

INNOCENT CROCKER (10) was a winner at her Qld debut here 2 starts back when saved for the closing shot, she came sailing home to arrive for the prize. Last start from gate 2 she looked to take them all the way when grabbed by the airborne TOM ME GUN. With the right cart into the contest she will be thereabouts.

INVITE ONLY (3) has placed in her past 3 in succession including her latest outing here on Tues when attacking the line in good style to be a half-neck off the winner. From the good gate she can settle handy and has place hopes once again.

CAESARS ASTRUM (1) sat in the pocket trail last start at Marburg and was able to find the space to sneak through and get within a head of victory. Grabbed up the passing lane when looking to lead throughout here 2 starts back, she has the options.

SELECTIONS: CALLMEQUEENBEE (12), INNOCENT CROCKER (10), INVITE ONLY (3), CAESARS ASTRUM (1)
SUGGESTED BET: CALLMEQUEENBEE (12) to win

RACE NINE

OUR OVERANOVA (7) returned to winning form here last week when able to come with a well-timed run and overcome a 50m impost and record his 42nd win at the track. His mobile record is superb and despite the wide gate he can look to make it back-to-back victories.

NEEDLE (6) was too strong last start when able to press on from position through off the front line and once in control was able to stitch her rivals with a sharp 57 sec closing 800m to give them no hope and record a 12m victory. The early tactics could prove decisive in this and she will be in for the fight.

QUIETLY SPOKEN (1) stepped cleanly last start before releasing and then the beneficiary of the cosy trip was able to use the passing lane to get within a half-head of victory. A smart beginner from the mobile, she will be in the right spot to challenge.

SPRINGBANK EDEN (3) should take some benefit from his latest outing despite being put out of business when striking trouble. Strong from the breeze in scoring 2 starts back he has enough early speed to settle close and can be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: OUR OVERANOVA (7), NEEDLE (6), QUIETLY SPOKEN (1), SPRINGBANK EDEN (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-6-7
