RACE TWO

COMPLY OR DIE (4) put together a win streak of 4 on the bounce including a win in Sat night band company. Luckless when after the handful over the 2138m he was then run down here 2 starts back after being stung in a 26.4 opener. Bouncing back with a win over his less preferred 2138m last time, he looks to have a mortgage on this.

MAYWYNS BEST (5) took on a M0 race on Sat night and the effort was solid when shuffled to 3 back the poles and probing for the gaps was only 4m from the winner SPARKLING CULLECT. Buried away 2 starts back, he should find this easier and with the small field and even luck can make a closing play.

STIRLING WILLIAM (2) lands his best gate for some time and he can look to make some advantage of that to find the pegs 1st. He worked home soundly from the rear last start and will be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: COMPLY OR DIE (4), MAYWYNS BEST (5), STIRLING WILLIAM (2)
SUGGESTED BET: COMPLY OR DIE (4) to win

RACE THREE

TROJAN BANNER (8) was impressive at his Aus debut when pressing on to take control from gate 3 and once in front was able to get home strongly for a comfortable victory. He will strip fitter from that run after a 7-week gap between runs and it will be only luck in running that can hamper him.

ITZ MAJOR LOOK (3) was much sharper last start when resuming from a break. Snagging back early from gate 5 in a small field he let down nicely in the stretch in a slick closing panel. This is his best gate since arriving and if able to find the pegs and pinch a panel he can claim the prize.

THE RAGNBONE MAN (1) should enjoy a great trip here and with the cosy run can be ready to strike when the gaps arrive. Still after a maiden breaking victory it may not arrive here but won’t be far away.
SEA HAWKE (11) has a tricky gate to negotiate here but he should take good benefit from his latest run when returning from a freshen. Working to the breeze he held on for 3rd and can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: TROJAN BANNER (8), ITZ MAJOR LOOK (3), THE RAGNBONE MAN (1), SEA HAWKE (11)
SUGGESTED BET: TROJAN BANNER (8) risk form the gate but looks smart

RACE FOUR

ITS JUST KENNY (6)
might have a duck egg next to his name but he was hitting dead-ends in a much stronger race last start and was only 7m from the winner. His run was a strong effort here 3 starts back when 6m from LILAC FLASH and despite a tricky gate he might just have enough of a class edge.

COREY WILLIAM (5) started in red figures here on Tues when looking to take them all the way over the mile. Setting a slick tempo, he was only grabbed in the closing strides and beaten a head. He has the speed to find the pegs but will need a breather with the 2138m trip posing a query.

ZARAS DELIGHT (7) was taken back from gate 5 last start in a mares event and found the line in good order in a blanket finish when 8m from the winner. Luckless here 2 starts back she can be in the mix.

FARRAHFOWLER (1) found the pegs before releasing last time out and was winding up late when 2m from the winner TRILIGHT BRIGADE. With a cosy trip on offer she can be looking for the gaps late.

SELECTIONS: ITS JUST KENNY (6), COREY WILLIAM (5), ZARAS DELIGHT (7), FARRAHFOWLER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ITS JUST KENNY (6) to win

RACE FIVE

MICKEE CULLEN (6) was sent forward to the breeze last start at Redcliffe and after working in the run faded in the latter stages to finish mid-field. He lands another tricky gate after a string of wide and 2nd line alleys and while he will be relying on some luck in transit, he can claim a wide-open race.

DOOLITTLE DANDY (9) has been in the money at 4 of his past 5 starts and last start worked home from back in the pack to be the best of the chasers behind MINI MIRACLE who cleared out to a big win. He can follow through in the early stages here to settle handy to the speed to feature here.

VINTAGE DREAM (8) will be needing some luck in transit but if seeing space with track to work with can be swooping home. Only beaten a head behind ONLY IN ROME from the pocket trail 2 back she just needs space.

GOOD BOY OLIVER (2) has good speed off the arm and from the two-hole can find the pegs and be gripping on. Wore down last start out in front if he can run some steadier fractions, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: MICKEE CULLEN (6), DOOLITTLE DANDY (9), VINTAGE DREAM (8), GOOD BOY OLIVER (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

TOPNOTCH MACH (2)
worked across to find the pegs from gate 3 over the Redcliffe sprint trip last start and set a sizzling tempo out in front when only grabbed in the closing stages. That was his best alley for some time and with the speed to lead can look to make his AP debut a winning one.

OUR CHITTYBANGBANG (8) has some early options as the lone 2nd line runner and might look to slide through into a handy position in the running line in the early stages. He will take good benefit from his latest start when returning from a break and if the speed is solid look for him swooping.

IM FREE FALLING (7) made an error here 2 starts back but was still able to reset and prove too strong for a stylish win. His run from this gate behind PACIFIC DRUMS on Tues was a solid effort and he can be working home strongly once again.

PLATINUM ROULETTE (5) shoots for the hat-trick after wins at Redcliffe and then here on Tues where he was strong over the 2138m trip. His chances hinge on how hard he works early but he has found the zone.

SELECTIONS: TOPNOTCH MACH (2), OUR CHITTYBANGBANG (8), IM FREE FALLING (7), PLATINUM ROULETTE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 2-5-7-8

RACE SEVEN

RED CHARMER (5) shoots for the hat-trick after wins at both the 2138m and then the mile here last start. Rolling forward to the breeze from the 2nd line last start she was able to control the race from there and was never in danger to score by 10m. She might need to work again but she can cope.

MAMMALS MAGIC (2) snagged back from gate 7 last start and was charging home late to get within a flared nostril of victory. Luckless the start prior when buried in the run, she was gunned down late over the 2138m trip here 2 starts back. With the speed to find the pegs she will then have options.

INNOCENT CROCKER (4) rolled back from gate 7 and then came with a booming finish to claim a Qld debut victory here 3 starts back. Grabbed late by the in-form TOM ME GUN 2nd up she wasn’t suited at the 2138m last start and can feature here.

THE BOYS GNP (3) landed the pocket trail here on Tues and chased gamely behind the flying PACIFIC DRUMS. Never far from the action he can settle close to the speed and will be finishing on hard.

SELECTIONS: RED CHARMER (5), MAMMALS MAGIC (2), INNOCENT CROCKER (4), THE BOYS GNP (3)
SUGGESTED BET: RED CHARMER (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

ROYAL LINCOLN (2)
was a winner here 5 starts back when sent to the front from this same gate over the mile and was too strong in claiming a 10m victory. Facing wide gates in all 4 since that win, his run here 3 back was solid when 3rd to INNOCENT CROCKER and with the improved gate can cash-in.

RENEE DALE (6) faces a tricky gate here but has been game in her 2 Qld starts to date. Snagged back from gate 6 over the mile 2 starts back she chased gamely when the race was gone behind the huge winner PINUP BOY. Only grabbed in the last strides by CALLMEQUEENBEE last week she can go close.

MACHIN OUT (8) will be relying on plenty of luck from this alley as he looks in danger of being buried in the run, however placed in his past 3 he is going well and just needs the luck to see some space.

ARK PATROL (5) has been runner-up at his past 2 starts and been no further than 2m off the winner in each. Pressing on to the front from gate 6 last start he was nabbed up the passing lane and will be thereabouts here.

SELECTIONS: ROYAL LINCOLN (2), RENEE DALE (6), MACHIN OUT (8), ARK PATROL (5)
SUGGESTED BET: ROYAL LINCOLN (2) to win
