RACE TWO

Benefitting from the 8 being forced to the outside of the line, KLEENED OUT (9) should be able to secure the prefect run behind a slick beginner and be coiled and ready to strike.  Sent to the front last start in a qualifier, he was keen in front and setting a solid tempo held them off for a PB victory. He can take the snipers shot.

MAYWYNS COURAGE (1) speared out from gate 7 last start over the sprint trip before handing over. Waiting for the closing shot, he fell a half-head short as LIFES BLACK powered home to the prize. Not suited from gate 6 when retreating the start prior, he can look to dictate from this gate.

SIR JULIAN (10) eased back from gate 5 here 2 starts back and with the right trail into the contest had bullets to fire when arriving for a 2m victory. The pegs look a play here and darting down can take the short way home.

MACEY JAYDE (8) will start from gate 10 after being banished to the outside following an indiscretion that ended her chances here on Tues. Only grabbed in the last strides the start prior, she has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: KLEENED OUT (9), MAYWYNS COURAGE (1), SIR JULIAN (10), MACEY JAYDE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: KLEENED OUT (9) to win

RACE THREE

GOONLY (1) will need some factors in his favour here, but with the right trip on offer can be ready to take the closing shot. Locked away on the pegs from this gate last start over the middle distance, he was hampered when needing space that ended his chances. A passing lane winner here 2 starts back, he will be coiled and ready to strike.

BETTOR TO BE TRICKY (7) completed a hat-trick of victories here on Tuesday when finishing over the top of a smart tempo to claim a new career PB. Eased back from gate 6 and then packing too many guns late to score 2 starts back, he overcome gate 7 on Tues and with the speed on will swoop hard again.

SO KOOL MASTER (10) looked a tragedy beaten here on Tues in the race claimed by BETTOR TO BE TRICKY. In the pocket trail, he looked to have a quiver full of arrows, but when the leader jumped it off, his chances vanished. With a powerful closing sprint, look for him late.

COREY WILIAM (5) wasn’t suited last start when snagged back from gate 7 and from too far back in the pack was never in the mix. That followed a tough run in the breeze over the 2138m. Limiting the burn, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: GOONLY (1), BETTOR TO BE TRICKY (7), SO KOOL MASTER (10), COREY WILIAM (5)
SUGGESTED BET: GOONLY (1) to win

RACE FOUR

IMMORTAL CHANGE (7)
has placed in all 3 starts since arriving in Qld, the latest when forced to roll the sleeves and face the breeze over the 2138m. Fighting hard she was within 2m of the winner. That followed a similarly tough effort when only beaten a neck. The gate hurts, but she is in great touch and the daughter of Changeover can claim victory on Changeover Classic night.

RUNFORTHEROSES (3) settled in the running line from her 2nd line gate here on Tues and was hitting the line in nice style when 5m from the swooping winner THE DOORMAN. Grabbed late when leading them up here 2 starts back, she should appreciate the return to mares only company to challenge here.

HOT FLUSH (10) took on the lamp lighting roles here last week and after a steady opening 800m of the last mile, couldn’t hold off the finishing power of TORI MAY. Her effort was sound here on Tues behind SPEECH IS SILVER and she has claims despite the gate.

TIMELESS APPEAL (4) has worked her way into some good touch, finishing runner-up at each of her past 2 starts. A Redcliffe winner 3 starts back when finishing over the top, she won’t be too far away.

SELECTIONS: IMMORTAL CHANGE (7), RUNFORTHEROSES (3), HOT FLUSH (10), TIMELESS APPEAL (4)
SUGGESTED BET: IMMORTAL CHANGE (7) to win

RACE FIVE

GLENFERRIE HOOD (3)
is working his way back towards his best and strike the right conditions here to end the longest winless streak of his career. He might show a duck-egg from last week, yet his sectionals were still slick when attacking the line strongly in the closing stages. Charging home 2 starts back for the bronze, he can bounce back with a bang.

SLICE OF HEAVEN (2) was locked away against the poles last start and chased home in good order to grab the bronze. His 1st 2 runs back this campaign have been below what has been expected of the 6YO since he arrived in Qld, but his latest display suggests he is back on track. Back to the front line after 3 successive 2nd line gates this campaign, he can be sharper.

MACH ALERT (9) went to the pegs last start from gate 4 and with them walking through the opening stages, was always facing a task when the power went on. The pegs look an option again and he will be probing for space to rattle home.

SAMS THE MASTER (1) wasn’t suited last start when forced to face the breeze and under the strong tempo, faded in the closing stages. Striking trouble the start prior, he has the gate to chime in here.

SELECTIONS: GLENFERRIE HOOD (3), SLICE OF HEAVEN (2), MACH ALERT (9), SAMS THE MASTER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: GLENFERRIE HOOD (3) to win

RACE SIX

The 2nd running of the Changeover Classic where 4 of the 9 runners can bring last start victories into the contest. Impressive when making her debut, THIS ONES FOR YOU (4) rolled forward and after securing the pocket trail finished over the top to claim a half-head margin, with a 15m gap back to 3rd. With the added experience, she can go 2 for 2.

GLITTER STRIP (3) had finished mid-field at each career starts leading into his mid-week outing here on Tues. Sent straight to the front, he was never in dan when pacing smartly to claim a comfortable 10m victory in handy time. If he can show more improvement like he had displayed leading into that win, he looms large in this.

ONLYSBEST (8) is undefeated after successive early season wins and comes into this fresh. Showing speed to get across from 7 and then find the trail, he was too slick in the stretch last start and kept sharp at the trials will be searching for space.

MY CHINA DOLL (5) has progressed nicely in her 3 starts for the season and last start capitalised when the leader made an error to land the prize. With further experience, she can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: THIS ONES FOR YOU (4), GLITTER STRIP (3), ONLYSBEST (8), MY CHINA DOLL (5)
SUGGESTED BET: THIS ONES FOR YOU (4) to win

RACE SEVEN

MAJOR LUCKY (3) has worked his way into some handy form and from this gate should be able to settle close to the action. Eased back to find position over the 2138m here 2 starts back, he powered home to a smart win. Charging home last start when 2m from the winner, he can continue on with it.

JOHNNY WHITE (6) was looking to stay undefeated since arriving in Qld last start when forced to roll the sleeves and do it the tough way in the breeze. In for the fight he was within 6m of the winner CHERRYS THE BEST to claim 2nd. That followed successive wins in races where the form out of them has carried. Freshened, he can challenge.

RECIPE FOR DREAMING (1) was taken back from gate 6 last start prior to working home wide out and chasing in vain against the tempo. A smart winner from the front here 3 starts back, he has the options off the ace.

CELTIC CRUZA (7) doesn’t have any favours from this gate, but has been strong in defeat at his past 2 when placing. Hitting the line strongly last start from this same gate over this trip when 1m in arrears, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR LUCKY (3), JOHNNY WHITE (6), RECIPE FOR DREAMING (1), CELTIC CRUZA (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (5) has the hoof well and truly on the ‘till and looks to find the right conditions to cash-in. Taken back from this gate last start over the mile, he was a long way back the pack and hitting dead-ends, yet was still only 6m in arrears. Probing for an opening that didn’t arrive the start prior, he can arrive.

CONDAFEW (4) started from this gate 2 starts back and eased back to look for a cheap run up the pegs when hitting road-blocks to be 6m from the winner. A real eye-catcher from gate 6 at Redcliffe 4 starts back, he was working home wide off the track on Wed at Redcliffe after settling a long way back.

FEELINGFORARAINBOW (2) took on a much stronger race last start and couldn’t go on with it after finding the 1x1 trail. That followed a hat-trick of victories and from this gate is right in the fight.

TOO GOOD FOR YOU (8) chased hard to grab the silver behind KLEENDED OUT here last week when only 2m in arrears, backing up from Thursday at Redcliffe, he will be probing for gaps from this alley.

SELECTIONS: SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (5), CONDAFEW (4), FEELINGFORARAINBOW (2), TOO GOOD FOR YOU (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (5) to win

RACE NINE

After scoring a smart win here on Tues when sprouting wings in the closing stages, MAYBETOTHEMAX (8) can look to make it successive victories. Facing what looked a forlorn task when buried by the big field, he charged home to arrive after starting from the 40m impost. Back to the 20m in these conditions, he can arrive.

SPRINGBANK EDEN (7) retreated from a wide gate last start under mobile conditions prior to closing strongly in the latter stages to grab the silver behind the dictating winner QUIETLY SPOKEN. Looking for a hat-trick of wins here 2 starts back over the longer trip when grabbed late, he is right in this.

MELPARK MAGIC (1) is in super form and lines up here looking to complete a hat-trick of victories. Too slick in the closing stages when leading throughout last start, he is a threat from this position.

JUSTABITNOISY (5) was a winner from a 20m impost last start over this trip after continuing to press forward to take control. Once in front, he was never in danger in scoring a 2m victory. From 10m he looms large in a very even trot contest.

SELECTIONS: MAYBETOTHEMAX (8), SPRINGBANK EDEN (7), MELPARK MAGIC (1), JUSTABITNOISY (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MAYBETOTHEMAX (8) to win

RACE TEN

RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (4) did some early work from this same gate over the mile last week prior to receiving cover in the run. Making his charge in the stretch, he loomed strongly, but was nabbed late by the passing lane winner, beaten a head. Finishing his races strongly, he is closing in on a deserved victory and strikes the right type of contest here.

JEROSH (8) speared out to take up the lamp lighting duties last start and with a solid tempo over the 2138m, folded after the 3rd panel was dropped in sub 28. Chasing hard to grab the bronze the start prior, he will get an easy trip here and if the gaps arrive in time, can be issuing the challenge.

JILLIBY GIZMO (2) is on the back-up from Thursday at Redcliffe where he looked a chance to be in the money. A nice 3rd here 2 starts back when only collared late in a slugging finish, he can place.

ONE WISE MAN (6) took on the claiming ranks last start when easing back from gate 4 and closing out in good order behind BULL MARKET. With even luck in transit, he has podium claims in this.

SELECTIONS: RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (4), JEROSH (8), JILLIBY GIZMO (2), ONE WISE MAN (6)
SUGGESTED BET: RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (4) to win
