RACE TWO

LETHAL PROMISE (1) worked hard in the run last start from gate 6 when sent forward to cut the breeze and was good to the line behind JANUARY. He took them all the way from this gate 4 starts back and hustled through to take control will have them all chasing.

THE FORMULA ONE (7) was a winner 5 starts back when able to lead all the way and has placed in 3 of the 4 starts since. 2nd last week behind the big winner SLICE OF HEAVEN in restricted company, he will be glued to the back of the 1 and ready for the last shot.

HEY PORSHA (2) had looked to have found her race from gate 1 here 4 starts back and leading them up was unable to put them away. All of her past 3 have been from wide gates and back to a tight gate can be an improver.

PITTSWORTH MAN (8) can look for the early option of the cheap run and dart down to the markers. From that same position he ran home for the bronze behind KAANAPALI last start. He will be looking to launch a closing sprint.

SELECTIONS: LETHAL PROMISE (1), THE FORMULA ONE (7), HEY PORSHA (2), PITTSWORTH MAN (8)
SUGGESTED BET: LETHAL PROMISE (1) to win

RACE THREE

JUST CALL ME GOOSE (1) has just the 1 win to his name with that win coming when able to lead them all the way and hang on for an 5m victory. The only time he has been able to lead since that win was over the 2040m. At the 1780m here and his best gate in some time, he can look to go barrier to box.

LATIN BEATS (6) has the tricky gate to overcome but has been racing well in recent starts. From inside the 2nd line last start she was diving late and went within a nose of the win. With even luck in transit she can be closing out late.

TASCOTT LADY (8) was hitting the line strongly here 3 starts back to grab the bronze and followed that with a 2nd to LITTLE CHANGE. Racing tough in the breeze last start, she is right in the mix here.

MOONLGHT BUTCHER (5) was sent forward from gate 4 last start and worked hard in the run before fading out in the closing stages. That followed a handy 2nd to COME OUT AND PLAY and he stays under notice.

SELECTIONS: JUST CALL ME GOOSE (1), LATIN BEATS (6), TASCOTT LADY (8), MOONLGHT BUTCHER (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

THE SHADY ONE (6)
made a mess of the stand in the Flashing Red at his 1st attempt from behind the tapes. Once he settled into stride he followed the pegs and was solid to the line when only 3m from the winner. 3m from BODHI TREE on Sat night, he will be better suited on his own line here and can land the knockout.

GEORGIA GRACE (3) has stepped cleanly at her 3 runs from the tapes and was only beaten 5m at her 1st 2 attempts against open performers. In the Flashing Red she was luckless when dragged back through the field behind a tiring runner. With a safe start and a perfect 8 from 8 record here on the triangle, she can go mighty close.

JOYS A BABE (7) has had 3 attempts at the stand and is yet to return a placing. In the Flashing Red off 10m she made a mess of the start and was never a factor. Being out the back on her own at the start might help her settle here and if safely away will throw down a challenge.

SELECTIONS: THE SHADY ONE (6), GEORGIA GRACE (3), JOYS A BABE (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

SISTER FEELGOOD (2) is still searching for a maiden breaking win and comes up with the right gate in an open contest. Her run was a fair effort in the Triad Consolation 2 starts back behind OPONONIS BLISS. Left flat-footed when the leader kicked away at the 300m, she is worth a chance here.

MATRON JUJON (6) has the wide gate to overcome but should find this easier than what she has been meeting in recent starts. 3rd to SOMWHEREOVARANBOW 2 starts back she was covering plenty of extra ground last start over the 2138m at AP. She is looms as a big threat.

KATHLEEN GRACE (5) has been runner-up in both starts since returning from a break and will be further tightened from her latest start when finishing best of the chasers behind OH STANLEY who skipped clear for a big win. The gate hurts.

FUTURE FUN (1) will take benefit from his debut behind OH STANLEY last week. Taken back from gate 6 in that event he was a long way back. He can be sharper with the improved gate here.

SELECTIONS: SISTER FEELGOOD (2), MATRON JUJON (6), KATHLEEN GRACE (5), FUTURE FUN (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-5-6

RACE SIX

KATNISS (10)
found running line cover from gate 3 last start and was hitting the line in good order to claim the silver behind KAANAPALI who led all the way. A good Marburg winner 3 starts back when 1st up from a break, she has the tough gate but strikes a winnable race and can land the prize.

LAZY BLAZE (1) will be 2nd up from a break after returning last start and fading late behind BRONSKI MACKENZIE. With options from the gate he can get the right spot here and can return a much sharper effort.

DIAMONDSFROMHEAVEN (2) lands her best gate for some time an can look to take full advantage in the early stages. Sent forward to the breeze from the 2nd line 2 starts back, she will be right in this.

WHAT A FLIGHT (8) should follow through in the early stages here to settle in a handy positon and be poised to issue a closing challenge. Fitter following 3 runs back from a break she looks an exotic hope.
SELECTIONS: KATNISS (10), LAZY BLAZE (1), DIAMONDSFROMHEAVEN (2), WHAT A FLIGHT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: KATNISS (10) to win

RACE SEVEN

ITS ALLABOUT ALICE (1) was a Tamworth winner 4 starts back when closing out strongly to claim a 7m victory. In 3 starts here at Redcliffe since that win she has placed on each occasion, the latest run an eye catcher when hitting the line hard from well back. With the options from the gate she gets her chance.

TELLELLA (4) was taken back from gate 6 last start and couldn’t get into the contest in the closing stages. A winner here 4 starts back when leading throughout, she can look to settle handy and be closing hard.

HERES MY NUMBER (6) has the wide gate to negotiate and will need some favours to go his way. His run last start was in tougher company than he meets here and a solid tempo will help his chances.

MACH TORQUE (3) landed the cash here 4 starts back when leading all the way from gate 2. A mid-field finish in the Triad Final 2 starts back behind AQUA MISS, she is much better suited here and can feature.

SELECTIONS: ITS ALLABOUT ALICE (1), TELLELLA (4), HERES MY NUMBER (6), MACH TORQUE (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

BETTOR BECAUSE (3)
has shown steady improvement and last start worked hard in the run from gate 3 as the fav and was only grabbed near the line. 3 starts back she hit the line in good order from the running line. This looks her chance to breakthrough.

GODDESS JUJON (6) took out the Triad consolation at just her 2nd start when pressing forward to find the front and once in control held on for a narrow win. This is her 1st look at Redcliffe and while she has no favours from the wide gate, she will be right in the fight.

LITTLE BOLT (1) will be better suited from the ace gate after starting from gate 6 last start and not having the cleanest run in transit. He will get a good trip here and can be an improver.

OUR DELIGHT (2) found the front from gate 4 last start before releasing the speed and then didn’t get the lane with momentum after the leader was folding up in front of her. She will be better suited here.

SELECTIONS: BETTOR BECAUSE (3), GODDESS JUJON (6), LITTLE BOLT (1), OUR DELIGHT (2)
SUGGESTED BET:
