RACE TWO

ONE WISE MAN (4) was having his 1st hit out in the claiming ranks last start when facing the inside of the 2nd line. Away from the pegs early he chased gamely and had to settle for silver behind KARLOO MAC. His run 3 back was solid behind LINCOLN ROAD and back to the front can prevail here.

EPIRUS BOY (1) started from this gate last time out when settling in the pocket trail he chased home the winner KARLOO MAC. He should take benefit from the run after returning in that race from a freshen and with the cosy trip again here will be ready to take the gaps when they arrive.

KARLOO MAC (7) rolled across from gate 5 last start when able to find the 1x1 trail. Hitting his straps in the stretch he was able to arrive for the prize. With early options if needed, he won’t be far away.

IDEAL SITUATION (3) speared out from gate 4 to lead them up over the 2040m trip. Fading in the closing stages to be well beaten, he might find the sprint trip more to his liking and has rough hopes.

SELECTIONS: ONE WISE MAN (4), EPIRUS BOY (1), KARLOO MAC (7), IDEAL SITUATION (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ONE WISE MAN (4) to win

RACE THREE

DEVOUGED (1) rolled forward to face the breeze here on Sun night at his Qld debut after starting from the 2nd line. In for the fight he was only 3m from the winner in claiming the silver. He lands the improved gate and with the early options can look to claim his 1st career victory.

MISS MIA (3) lands her best gate for some time and can look to make the most of the opportunities. 4 starts back she finished best to take a tidy win over the 1780m trip and was given a freshen after the run. Struggling with bad draws, she will be right in the fight here.

TELLELLA (4) ws buried away in the run last start and hit the line strongly to be within 2.5m of the winner JOVIAL JULIE. Placed in the 2 runs prior to that, she won’t be far away with the right run.

BETTOR BECAUSE (2) features in a stable switch and will line up for Mark McNee. Starting from the 2nd line last start she hit the line strongly to be within 2m of the winner and with her best gate for some tie can go close.

SELECTIONS: DEVOUGED (1), MISS MIA (3), TELLELLA (4), BETTOR BECAUSE (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

MIRACLESDOAPPEN (1)
started from the 2nd line last start and was trying to work home wide off the track when the leader and winner was setting a slick tempo in front. A winner when resuming from a break here 4 starts back, she was runner-up at her next 2 outings and back to gate 1 gets her chance.

MO JARNEY (7) couldn’t go on with it last start when looking to make his charge and the start prior at AP he was a long way back when hitting the line nicely in the latter stages. 3rd in a much stronger race at AP 3 starts back, he will get the cosy trip here and can be coiled and ready to strike.

STUDLEIGH STRIDE (2) finished best from a 2nd line gate here 3 starts back and went past them in position a 7m victory. Tough from the breeze last start in a strong AP contest, he is a big threat here.

WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (8) started from gate 10 here 3 starts back and finished best to hit the line sharply and claim a 5m victory. With options in the early stages, he can fill the podium in this.

SELECTIONS: MIRACLESDOAPPEN (1), MO JARNEY (7), STUDLEIGH STRIDE (2), WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MIRACLESDOAPPEN (1) to win

RACE FIVE

MY ULTIMATE MAJOR (1) finds his way into the Donny Smith barn and lands the prefect gate for his 1st assignment. A Redcliffe winner 4 starts back when making the most of the run from the pocket trail, he has faced wide gates in the 3 runs since. Hustling to protect the pegs, he can bounce back.

OUR DELIGHT (8) faded badly last time out in the Triad Consolation after having an early dip for a forward position. Only beaten a half-head 2 starts back after finding the front from gate 4 and then releasing, she can get the right run through early here and will be right in the fight.

STUDLEIGH SONNY (7) was a winner here 4 starts back at his Qld debut from gate 4 and in his 3 runs since has failed to land a decent gate. With the right trail here, he can be ready to strike.

IMPRESSIVE DIAMOND (10) has found some nice form with wins in 2 of her past 4 and placings in the other 2 starts. She found the line strongly last start to arrive for the prize and can overcome the gate here.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE MAJOR (1), OUR DELIGHT (8), STUDLEIGH SONNY (7), IMPRESSIVE DIAMOND (10)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-7-8-10

RACE SIX

MORROCH BAY (10)
couldn’t find position in the run last start and covered plenty of the triangle when fading out late. Luckless the start prior, he hit the line strongly to grab the silver over the sprint trip 3 starts back. Finding his easiest assignment for some time, he can overcome the gate.

DATSGOOD (1) has proven costly and burnt the pockets of her supporters in recent outings. The ruling fav last start from gate 2, she finished down the line when well beaten. With the benefit of gate 1, can she be given another chance to bounce back? She can bounce back if getting it right.

TASCOTT LADY (9) has placed in her past 2 starts, the latest when tough from the breeze and fighting on to claim 2nd. The 2nd line hurts somewhat here but she can work home to place.

HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (7) was only 5m from the winner here over the sprint trip 2 starts back and then last time out took on a stronger race than this. With the cosy trip he can be probing for gaps.

SELECTIONS: MORROCH BAY (10), DATSGOOD (1), TASCOTT LADY (9), HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MORROCH BAY (10) to win

RACE SEVEN

SLIPPERY JADE (3) will be fitter following 2 runs back from a spell with her 2nd up run a sound effort behind ON THAT DAY. Her 1st up run was good when 4m from the winner after racing in the pocket trail and sent forward here can look to take control and can break a 12-month winless streak.

MONTANA MALONE (1) is yet to miss a top-two in 3 career outings with the latest outing a sharp effort when 2m from the winner. Pressing forward to take control and dictate over this trip 2 starts back he packed too many guns in scoring a big win. Freshened since his last start, he can feature.

OUR PEPPERJACK (7) started from gate 10 last start and was working home wide off the track and hot the line in good style when 2nd to GOALKICKER. In the money at 4 of his past 5 starts, he can go close.

TEARAWAY DIAMOND (5) was a winner here 3 starts back in a strong run when sent forward from gate 4 to take control. Tough from the breeze last start over the AP 2138m trip, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: SLIPPERY JADE (3), MONTANA MALONE (1), OUR PEPPERJACK (7), TEARAWAY DIAMOND (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SLIPPERY JADE (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

ELMS CREEK (3)
has won 2 of his past 4 starts and been a beaten fav when within 2m of the winner in another. Coming with 1 closing run last start he found the line in fine style to claim a strong win in a slick rate around the triangle. Tough from the breeze the start prior, he can prevail in an open contest.

YKIKAFIL (1) has been freshened since finishing down the line in the 4YO Triad Final behind the gun COLT THIRTY ONE. Only collared in the closing stages over the mile at Armidale the start prior, he will get the options from the gate and can be around the money here.

LURAH (9) was snagged back from gate 5 here 2 starts back and was finding the line in good order and last start was working home nicely. With even luck in transit she can make a closing play.

TRAIN WRECK (2) has placed in his past 2 starts with both runs coming at AP. Last start he was able to work to the front from the 2nd line and grabbed late, he won’t be far away here.

SELECTIONS: ELMS CREEK (3), YKIKAFIL (1), LURAH (9), TRAIN WRECK (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ELMS CREEK (3) to win

RACE NINE

IM WITH LEXY (1)
started from inside the 2nd line at AP last start and was shuffled back in the run before hitting the line in strong fashion to grab the bronze. A passing lane winner here 5 starts back, she lands her best gate for some time and with the available options gets her chance.

EARL JUJON (7) was a winner from this gate 2 starts back when packing too many guns in the closing stages. Forget he went around last start when unable to work into the race, with the benefit of the cosy trip here he looks set to offer the closing shot.

STEVIE DEE (3) used the passing lane to fire some late bullets when claiming the silver. A beaten fav at her next start, she wasn’t suited from gate 7 last time and can be sharper here.

ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (8) can look to take the short-cut and will have the option of a cheap pegs run. Placed in 4 of his past 5 starts, after striking some dead-ends in transit, he can chime into the exotics here.

SELECTIONS: IM WITH LEXY (1), EARL JUJON (7), STEVIE DEE (3), ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (8)
SUGGESTED BET: IM WITH LEXY (1) to win
