RACE TWO

ARK PATROL (10) found his race last start and was sent forward from gate 5 to take control, holding on to score over the 2280m. Runner-up at his previous 2 starts, he has been able to follow a win with victory at his next outing each time in his career and can look to continue that trend here.

MONTANA CHIEF (6) rolled forward from the 2nd line to find the breeze over the 2200m at Marburg last start and through a slick 3rd panel was able to continue fighting to land a narrow win. Holding on for the bronze here 2 starts back when 2nd up from a break, he can challenge despite the tough alley.

MIRACLESDOAPPEN (1) will be better suited from this gate after starting from wider alleys at her past 3 outings. Grabbed late at her previous 2 starts when leading, she will be gripping on here.

BUKTHSYSTEM (7) has been racing in good touch without threatening for a win, placing at 4 of his past 7 starts. Working home wide out last start, the run had merit and he can chime in late.

SELECTIONS: ARK PATROL (10), MONTANA CHIEF (6), MIRACLESDOAPPEN (1), BUKTHSYSTEM (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

OUR PEPPERJACK (5) will find this a more suitable target after facing a tough race last time out. It wasn’t helped by his sketchy manners or a wide gate when down the line behind MAJOR CURRENCY. A smart winner 3 starts back, he followed that when only beaten 2m and is wroth a chance in this.

FLASHING GOOD TIME (2) speared across from the widest gate to light the lamps at Marburg last start. Through a steady opening half, she was gunned down late, holding on for 3rd. Only 2m off the winner 2 starts back, again when leading, she will be gripping on here from the good alley.

SPONDOOLEY (6) shoots for the hat-trick after successive wins here on the triangle. Locked away 3 back on the pegs last start, he sprinted hard to arrive when the gap opened. The gate makes it hard.

GOTOTHEMOON (9) was angled to the pegs last start from gate 10 to look for short-cuts and was hitting the line strongly when within 6m of the winner. Beaten a head 2 starts back, he can place.

SELECTIONS: OUR PEPPERJACK (5), FLASHING GOOD TIME (2), SPONDOOLEY (6), GOTOTHEMOON (9)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR PEPPERJACK (5) each-way

RACE FOUR

FIOKI (4)
will appreciate the return to the mobile conditions after taking on the Flashing Red from the tapes last start. Making a mess of the start, the run was full of merit when within 10m of the winner NORTHVIEW HUSTLER. With a solid record here on the triangle, he can take an open race.

SPORTS BOUNTY (6) makes his 1st race appearance at Redcliffe and is greeted with the extreme gate for his troubles. Claiming 3rd at his past 2 starts, he was charging home from back in the pack last start when 2m from the winner. He can get into this early and out of trouble can challenge.

LIKEALLOFUS (3) is approaching 12 months since his last success, but should appreciate this type of contest. The effort was sound last start when snagged back to find position and he has claims.

MY MASTERCRAFTSMAN (8) resumes from a spell and was last seen in February when hitting the line strongly when beaten 2m. Preparing with a steady trial, he can improve off the run.

SELECTIONS: FIOKI (4), SPORTS BOUNTY (6), LIKEALLOFUS (3), MY MASTERCRAFTSMAN (8)
SUGGESTED BET: FIOKI (4) to win

RACE FIVE

REGULUS (8) returns to the scene of his G1 2YO Sales Classic Victory for the 1st time and despite coming up with the 2nd line, he has the class to negate it. A beaten red figure fav last start over the 2138m, his win 3 back was a brutal display when leading throughout. His class can get him home.

ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (2) started from gate 12 last start and didn’t have the cleanest run in transit when working home in good order to grab the bronze. A strong winner 2 starts back over the 2138m trip, his Redcliffe record is solid and with the gate advantage can throw down the challenge.

SIGNORINA JUJON (1) faced a task in the Fillies Triad Final 2 starts back when retreating from gate 7. Freshened she didn’t have much luck from gate 11 last start and can take advantage from the ace.

ARK ME (4) arrived on the line to claim a career best win rate last start and take the 2nd win of her 3YO term. 5m from LINCOLNS GIRL 2 starts back, she is right in the mix here.

SELECTIONS: REGULUS (8), ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (2), SIGNORINA JUJON (1), ARK ME (4),
SUGGESTED BET: REGULUS (8) to win

RACE SIX

RED CHARMER (3)
retreated early from gate 7 last start to look for luck up the pegs and was sound in the run to the judge behind JOSSIE JAMES. The start prior was a similar run when snagging back from gate 7 and looking to run on late. Making her debut here on the triangle, she can capitalise.

LOCHINVER (2) was 1st to the pegs last start before taking cover and with the majority of the field striking trouble in a 1st corner scrimmage, he was able to make a late play to grab the bronze. Not suited by the conditions the start prior, he can get forward early and is in the fight.

SWEET AS (1) wasn’t suited last start when snagging back from gate 5 after unable to find early position and ended up too far back. With the improved gate, she can get the right run to sprint late.

LEXUS ON THE BEACH (4) has faced 2nd line gates at 4 of his past 5 starts, in part owing to a starting error 5 runs back. Strong to the line last start when 3.5m away, the move to this gate is a big plus.

SELECTIONS: RED CHARMER (3), LOCHINVER (2), SWEET AS (1), LEXUS ON THE BEACH (4)
SUGGESTED BET: RED CHARMER (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (1) took on the middle distance of the 2138m last start and sent to the front from the three-hole was able to dictate the terms and claim a 1.5m victory. 2 starts back she charged home from back in the pack and with the options from the gate looks to get her chance.

MADAMOISELLE JUJON (7) will be sweating on a Doozzie lead and if that scenario eventuates, she will be coiled and ready to strike in the stretch. Yet to miss a cheque in 5 career outings, she was grabbed up the passing lane in the closing stages last start in strong time, she will be right in this.

HIPSTAR (5) made the most of the passing lane to arrive for the prize at AP 2 starts back in scoring over the 2138m. Last start the run was a top effort from gate 6 when beaten 2m and he is a threat.

DATITUDE (2) brings plenty of convictions, but when he can put it all together, he has his share of talent. His manners have cost him at his past 2 starts which followed successive wins and he can feature if on his game.

SELECTIONS: DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (1), MADAMOISELLE JUJON (7), HIPSTAR (5), DATITUDE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

SPECIAL RESERVE (4)
will take further benefit from her latest start when 2 runs back from a freshen. Settling in the running line from a 2nd line gate, she closed out nicely to be within 6m of the winner NIFTY STUDLEIGH. Grabbed late by JOVIAL JULIE here 3 starts back, she can fire the 1st shot here.

MOONLIGHT JACK (2) resumes from a spell and has been to the trials on 3 occasions to tune up for his return. A beaten fav at his last race appearance, he can settle handy here and has place hopes.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (5) shifts to gate 6 after an infringement last start. He can still chime into the money here if bringing the type of effort that saw him claim victory from gate 10 here 3 starts back.

SELECTIONS: SPECIAL RESERVE (4), MOONLIGHT JACK (2), WILD ABOUT TOWN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SPECIAL RESERVE (4) to win

RACE NINE

ITSMEGS (10)
resumes from a spell and comes into the race with a pair of nice trial appearances at AP to open the pipes. Last seen under race conditions back in November when forced to cover plenty of ground when unable to find position in the run, she strikes a winnable race 1st up.

TASCOTT LADY (8) did plenty of work in the early stages at Marburg last start when firing out from gate 4 and applying plenty of pressure in the run. Only 2m from the winner over the AP mile 2 starts back from the pocket trail, she is going well enough to be a factor in this contest.

OOZINVILLE (1) will get the early options from this alley and can settle handy to the speed. He didn’t get things his way at Marburg last time out and with the right run here has claims.

CHANG (9) chimed in late to grab the bronze 2 starts back and then last start was hitting the line in good order wide off the track. In a tricky contest he won’t be too far away once again.

SELECTIONS: ITSMEGS (10), TASCOTT LADY (8), OOZINVILLE (1), CHANG (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ITSMEGS (10) to win
