RACE TWO

KETUT (8) drops into the claiming ranks and comes into this as a last winner. Working away from the inside in the early stages from the 2nd line he hit the line in good style to arrive for the win. That followed a tidy effort behind THE CHARGING MOA and with a great Redcliffe record can take this.

KARLOO MAC (1) tokk the pocket trail from this gate here 2 starts back and chased hard to grab the bronze behind the big winner LILAC FLASH. He didn’t get the cleanest passage last start but was still able to find the line in good order from gate 10. With the improved gate he can go close.

DEVIL DODGER (6) has no favours from the wide gate but will find this grade of claimer easier than the Sat night company he has been meeting. Only 4m from GANGSTER BOY on Sat he is a big threat.

CLASSY GUY (7) will need some favours in the run but at his 2nd run in the claiming ranks can find the podium. Gunned down in front last start when pressing on to the pegs, he will be probing for a gap.

SELECTIONS: KETUT (8), KARLOO MAC (1), DEVIL DODGER (6), CLASSY GUY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: KETUT (8) to win

RACE THREE

MINI MIRACLE (1) finds her race and from the ace gate will look to get all the favours in the run. Buried away from inside the 2nd line last start she was hitting the line in good style when finally spotting space. This looks a shade easier than her previous few and she gets every chance here.

WEE JIMMY (8) is another that gets in here on a class drop and should find this well below his past 2 when striking OUR MAJOR DAY and COREY WILLIAM. Those 2 runs followed successive placings including a 3m 2nd at AP when working home in good order wide off the track. He is up to this.

CALL ME YOURS (2) has been taking on mares qualifiers at her past 5 starts with the latest on Sat night when finding the line in good order behind DARBY BRIGHTS. From the gate she is in the mix.

ROCKWITH THEDEVIL (4) was snagged back from gate 5 last start and with the race dictated in front never got into the contest. He worked in the run 2 starts back and has exotic claims here.

SELECTIONS: MINI MIRACLE (1), WEE JIMMY (8), CALL ME YOURS (2), ROCKWITH THEDEVIL (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-8

RACE FOUR

ALLNIGHT MLADY (1)
lands her best gate for some time and hustling hard can protect the inside. Last start from gate 9 she was too far back to work into it and her previous 2 were in mares qualifiers. A good winner in similar company over the AP 2138m 5 starts back she can take this.

RIVERLEIGH WILLIAM (10) has been runner-up at his past 2 starts where taking passing lane runs in each. Last start he was hitting the line hard to get within 1.5m of the winner FRENCH GLOBE which followed a best of the rest finish behind MIGHT AND MAIN in slick time. The gate hurts but he has claims.

MO JARNEY (5) had an early look last start before taking 1x1 cover and fighting on to claim the bronze behind MACHIN OUT. Run down in the closing stages 3 starts back, he is in the mix here.

ARES (7) should find this easier than his last outing when down the line behind MONIVAE. With a cosy trip here he can look to find open space in the closing stages.

SELECTIONS: ALLNIGHT MLADY (1), RIVERLEIGH WILLIAM (10), MO JARNEY (5), ARES (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ALLNIGHT MLADY (1) to win

RACE FIVE

NEWPORT DREAMZ (1) will take further benefit from his latest start when 3rd up from 15 months on the sidelines. From gate 1 he easily held them wide and was never in danger in scoring a comfortable win in strong time over this trip. With the gate to dictate again he should prove too slick.

GOALKICKER (7) makes her Qld debut for Graham Dwyer and from the gate will be getting the perfect trip. Last start she looked to take them all the way and set a strong tempo when claimed in the closing stages by the smart JILLIBY LORENZO at Terang. She looks the quinella play

FAKEROCKNROLL (4) rolled to the breeze from gate 6 last start and fought gamely to hold the bronze when 1.5m from the winner. Too strong in restricted company here 3 back he has claims.

PHOTOZEN (2) will take further benefit from his latest run when pressing on to the front and controlling the tempo to score. That was his 4th run back for the term and he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: NEWPORT DREAMZ (1), GOALKICKER (7), FAKEROCKNROLL (4), PHOTOZEN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: NEWPORT DREAMZ (1) to win

RACE SIX

PACIFIC DRUMS (1)
is still looking to break through for a Qld win and has gone agonisingly close on multiple occasions. Last start he looked to go all the way from this gate and trip and was beaten by OUR MAJOR DAY in a first over crush. With limited outside pressure this looks his chance to score.

TASSINI (2) was after the hat-trick when chasing hard to claim the bronze behind JUST ROKIN last start. Sitting off the speed and finishing over the top here 2 starts back, that followed a strong finish over the 2138m at AP and saved for a closing shot can go close.

JACKS AT THE BEACH (10) rolled forward to the breeze from this gate last start over the 1780m but couldn’t go on with it when holding on to finish mid-field. He can repeat that pattern to place here.

DAPPER (4) settled in the pocket trail last start and held on for the bronze behind OUR MAJOR DAY. He is getting close to a win and will be worth following from a better gate.

SELECTIONS: PACIFIC DRUMS (1), TASSINI (2), JACKS AT THE BEACH (10), DAPPER (4)
SUGGESTED BET: PACIFIC DRUMS (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

ALWAYS MY MATE (1) took on the Marburg Marathon 2 starts back and found himself a long way back in the pack from the 20m tape but was solid to the line. Settling in the 1x1 on Sat after rolling across from gate 4 he finished too strong to score over the 1780m trip. He can go back-to-back.

JESTER OH JESTER (6) didn’t get the cleanest run last start at Armidale but was able to really attack the line in the closing stages in an eye-catching finish where his closing splits were sizzling. Its been 12 months since his last win and despite a tough gate can look to change that number.

IMA SEA STORM (3) started from gate 2 and slid in behind the speed here last start and found the line strongly to claim the bronze behind FRANCO TOTEM. Similar tactics might be on offer again and he has place hopes.

OUTLAW FELLA (10) has no favours from the tough gate and has started from outside the front line at his past 2. He was finding the line strongly when 6m from ALWAYS MY MATE on Sat night and is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: ALWAYS MY MATE (1), JESTER OH JESTER (6), IMA SEA STORM (3), OUTLAW FELLA (10)
SUGGESTED BET: ALWAYS MY MATE (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

ARGYLE BEACH (9)
started from 10m last start in the Marburg Marathon and moved forward early to a position and then probing for an inside run went within 2.5m of the winner GANGSTER BOY. Beaten a nose her previous start, that followed a hat-trick of wins. Her first look at the triangle can be a win in a strong race.

THE CHARGING MOA (8) looks for the hat-trick after wins at the 1780m and then the 2040m trip here both from the 2nd line when finishing over the top in the closing stages. Starting a red figure fav last start she packed too many guns to score by 3m. With even luck she can be swooping hard again.

OUR MAJOR DAY (2) is another after a hat-trick after he landed a strong win here last week from the breeze after racing there throughout. That followed a strong Armidale win and from gate 2 can look to dictate and hold on.

FRANCO TOTEM (6) was a tidy winner of a qualifier on Sat night when watching the pressure unfold up-front and then coming with a well-timed run to score. There is plenty of depth in this race with 5 last-start winners and he stays in the mix.

SELECTIONS: ARGYLE BEACH (9), THE CHARGING MOA (8), OUR MAJOR DAY (2), FRANCO TOTEM (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ARGYLE BEACH (9) to win
