RACE TWO

LIKEALLOFUS (9) was snagged back from gate 7 here 2 starts back over the 2138m and never had a clean shot when grabbing 3rd. He again was stuck looking for an opening here last week when only 4m from BET IM SPECIAL. He will need plenty of luck but with an opening can sneak the win.

OUTLAW FELLA (6) struck some trouble in the early stages last week and was a long way back in the run when making good closing ground wide off the track in a nice effort. That followed a strong effort from gate 7 when 3rd to BELLS BEACH HOUSE and he will be throwing down a challenge.

NUI TOC TIEN (11) will strip fitter following his latest start when 1st up from a break. Settling back in the pack he was charging late to be within 4m of the winner. 3rd to HOLY CAMP CLIVE prior to his spell, he will be swooping hard.

GLENFERRIE BABY (1) was looking to take them all the way in a mares race last start over the 2138m and after a steady opening 800m was grabbed in the closing stages to claim 3rd. From the gate she has exotic hopes.

SELECTIONS: LIKEALLOFUS (9), OUTLAW FELLA (6), NUI TOC TIEN (11), GLENFERRIE BABY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: LIKEALLOFUS (9) each-way

RACE THREE

WHISKEY BLAZE (5) started from barrier 11 last week when sitting near the rear the leader cracked at the 400m he was 3-4 lengths from the winner VETTEL. The widest runner turning for home, he hit the line strongly. His past 2 starts have been from barriers 11 and 12 and he can swoop home here.

TACT OLLIE (1) found a 2nd division qualifier over the mile last start and taking control from gate 2 packed too many guns in front to score. His run 3 starts back behind the smart FRANCO TOTEM had merit and from this gate he will be looking to take them all the way.

SUBTLE DELIGHT (2) started from gate 5 here 2 starts back and was able to finish best to beat PACIFIC DRUMS. Fighting on from the breeze last start in a qualifier in a nice effort he can again be in the fight.

OFFICIANADO (9) did his share of work in the run last start and fought gamely when not far away from THE IDES OF MARCH. A winner here 3 starts back he can land a good spot and issue a challenge..

SELECTIONS: WHISKEY BLAZE (5), TACT OLLIE (1), SUBTLE DELIGHT (2), OFFICIANADO (9)
SUGGESTED BET: WHISKEY BLAZE (5) to win

RACE FOUR

BEAU CISHOLM (8)
fought on gamely here 3 starts back from the breeze behind MANDY KRIDEN and then was too far back from gate 12 at his next outing. Again from the 2nd line last week he hit the line strongly in running some slick panels to go down a half-neck. Coiled and ready to strike he can take this.

MY ULTIMATE FELLA (2) did the heavy lifting here last week in the breeze when holding 3rd behind the swooping MR MEDDLE. He atoned for the run here on Tues when he again was forced to work but was up to the task in scoring a 7m victory. He will be duking it out again here.

VETTEL (1) controlled the race from the breeze here last start after circling from the 2nd line and kicking clear at the 400m. With good early speed he will look to dictate and be gripping on.

SIR JULIAN (6) broke through for a deserved Qld maiden breaking win 2 starts back. Snagged back from gate 6 last start he was buried in the run and too far back. He has podium claims here.

SELECTIONS: BEAU CISHOLM (8), MY ULTIMATE FELLA (2), VETTEL (1), SIR JULIAN (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

SMOOTH SHOWGIRL (1) will strip fitter from her latest start when 2nd up from a break. Working home wide off the track she found the line in good order. That followed her 1st up run when 2nd to ALLELUIA when only beaten a neck and with the same run on offer here can score with the snipers shot.

GLENFERRIE HOOD (9) bounced back into winning form last start when finding the pegs from gate 3 and then setting a solid tempo in front over the 2138m trip. Gunned down by ALLELUIA his previous 2 starts, with even luck in transit he will be right in the fight.

ALLELUIA (6) could only get within 6m of GLENFERRIE HOOD last week when in search of his 5th successive victory. In superb touch, with the right run in transit he will be a major player again.

SOMEPARTYSOMEWHERE (4) went to Menangle on a 2 start campaign that returned a 1m 2nd to JOES STAR OF MIA and 5th to the same in-form runner in the final. Forget his last start, he can get to the pegs here and run a bold race.

SELECTIONS: SMOOTH SHOWGIRL (1), GLENFERRIE HOOD (9), ALLELUIA (6), SOMEPARTYSOMEWHERE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SMOOTH SHOWGIRL (1) to win

RACE SIX

MAJESTIC MAJOR (9)
was 3rd up from a break last start and from gate 7 went back early and was attacking the line strongly in the closing stages to grab the bronze behind WITHALOTOFLUCK. His 1st 2 runs back were in FFA company and with the added fitness and right run can look to take this.

SPIKE BROMAC (1) was a dominant winner from this gate over the mile 3 starts back when carving out strong panels from the front. He chased home strongly last start for 3rd to INVINCIBLE LOXTON and from the ace with the options will be right in the fight here.

REMEMBER THEM (3) took them all the way to soccer over the mile here 4 starts back and then his past 3 has been unsuited when buried in transit. He can take a shot here and while better suited at the mile can hold on to a minor.

MATCH POINT (5) makes his debut in Qld for Kylie Rasmussen and arrives a last start M1 winner at Menangle. Given 2 trials to acclimatise, he will be in the thick of the action here.

SELECTIONS: MAJESTIC MAJOR (9), SPIKE BROMAC (1), REMEMBER THEM (3), MATCH POINT (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJESTIC MAJOR (9) to win

RACE SEVEN

BELLS BEACH HOUSE (4) started from the 2nd line here last start and after having a shot for the front at the 1600m that was denied, he went to the front at the 1000m and after the tough run hoisted the white flag. A big winner from the front 2 starts back, he can find the pegs and from there grip on.

ITS JUST KENNY (9) wasn’t far away 3 starts back when resuming from a spell despite a duck egg going next to his name. 2nd up he chased hard when running BELLS BEACH HOUSE to a head and with the added fitness sprinted sharply to score over the mile last start. With a solid tempo he can take a closing shot.

THE SHADY ONE (3) resumes from a spell after last being seen in the Redcliffe Cup where he did a stack of early work. He can slide into a position here and will be finishing off strongly.

SPARKLING CULLECT (1) poured the pressure on in the run last week but couldn’t go on with it himself. With good early speed he will have options here and can be an improver here 3rd up.

SELECTIONS: BELLS BEACH HOUSE (4), ITS JUST KENNY (9), THE SHADY ONE (3), SPARKLING CULLECT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BELLS BEACH HOUSE (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

MIRACLE RISING (1)
is 2 from 2 since arriving in Aus with a win from the mobile and 1 from the tapes. Starting from 40m last start at Redcliffe over the 2280m trip he was sent forward early to find the breeze and packed too many guns to score by 11m. Safe from the tapes he can take control.

RELEVEN DREAM (8) was luckless in the run when snagged back to find position 4 starts back and then was a 1m 2nd behind MAYBETOTHEMAX. Able to make the most of the conditions over the 2647m trip 2 starts back in scoring forget his last start from the mobile, he can bounce back strongly.

SENITAS SUCCESS (2)
made a mess of the start here last time out and was banished to the trials. Returning a sharp trial, he can slide in for cover here and has podium claims.

MELPARK ROYAL SON (5) will be 1st up from a spell but has been to the trials 5 times in readiness for his return. With a cosy trip he can chime into the exotics and will take benefit from this run.

SELECTIONS: MIRACLE RISING (1), RELEVEN DREAM (8), SENITAS SUCCESS (2), MELPARK ROYAL SON (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MIRACLE RISING (1) to win

RACE NINE

NERIO (9)
is knocking on the door to win a mares qualifier and this looks an ideal opportunity to cash-in. Sent forward from gate 7 last start she did all the work and went down fighting when beaten 3m by THE NEXT STAR. That followed a nice 3rd behind ARGYLE BEACH and she can breakthrough.

NOVENA ROSE (7) has been freshened since her latest outing when scoring a strong win in a Marburg to Albion Final. 2nd to the smart filly DARKERSHADEOFPALE here 2 starts back in a mares qualifier, she has no luck from this gate but can work home strongly in this.

CAESARS ASTRUM (1) found her race to lead them all the way at Redcliffe 4 starts back and placed at her next 2 including 3rd to THE NEXT STAR here last week. Backing up from Thursday the gate is a big plus.

HEAVENS HINT (8) found the pegs 1st from gate 4 before taking cover and then holding on for the bronze last start at Redcliffe. She will get a cosy trip here and be ready to take her shot when the gap opens.

SELECTIONS: NERIO (9), NOVENA ROSE (7), CAESARS ASTRUM (1), HEAVENS HINT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: NERIO (9) to win
