RACE TWO

TASCOTT LADY (5) was brave last start in facing the breeze and digging in for the fight when 8m from the winner TOOK YOUR TIME. Her past 3 starts have all been sound efforts against stronger opponents than what she will face up to here and she will get her chance to cash-in.

EVERY THINGS ROSEY (2) is sparingly raced and lines up for just her 3rd outing since May. Last start from gate 1 she did enough to hold the pocket trail but couldn’t go with them when the pace went on, yet she was still going in the latter stages. From the gate she has some hope.

DIAMANTINA DEVIL (7) went winless last season as he struggled to show his best. He lands to get a cosy trip here and while he will need some luck, this is the type of race he can regain some form in.

COAST WARNING (6) was a nice winner on the grass at Kilcoy 4 starts back and then struck trouble that ended his chances at his next start. Banished to the outside after his next run, he has exotic claims from the outside.

SELECTIONS: TASCOTT LADY (5), EVERY THINGS ROSEY (2), DIAMANTINA DEVIL (7), COAST WARNING (6)
SUGGESTED BET: TASCOTT LADY (5) to win

RACE THREE

CLASSYTOFF (3) will appreciate getting back to this type of race after meeting a very handy field at AP last start when well held behind MR KALYPSO. The start prior she looked to take them all the way over the 1780m trip when grabbed right on the line. With good early speed, this looks her chance.

INCITER (5) was a Marburg winner 5 starts back when leading throughout and followed that with a tough effort in the breeze here over the 2040m when 2nd to DAPPER.  Placed his past 2 starts from wide gates and working in the run, he can be a danger in this line-up.

BETTOR WATCH HIM (7) pressed ahead last week and once in control was never in danger to score. Run down after setting a strong tempo at Marburg on Sunday, he can place from the tricky gate.

CHEYENNE WARRIOR (1) can land a cosy trip here and be ready to take a closing shot when the gaps appear. 3rd to CLASSYTOFF 2 starts back from the trail, he is in the mix again.

SELECTIONS: CLASSYTOFF (3), INCITER (5), BETTOR WATCH HIM (7), CHEYENNE WARRIOR (1)
SUGGESTED BET: CLASSYTOFF (3) to win

RACE FOUR

BIG BEAT (4)
has been meeting stronger opponents than he faces here and can open his 4YO term with victory. Forced to plenty of work out wide off gate 6 last start he was within 7m of the all-the-way winner THE NEXT STAR. A winner from this gate 5 back, he gets his chance.

RITCHIE BEE (2) has started 3 times now since arriving in Qld and returned his best effort last time out at the non-TAB Marburg fixture. Finding the line in good order he was within 5m of the winner after starting wide out. Settling handy he can be in the mix in this line-up.

MISS ROB ROY (1) held on for the bronze behind MIRACLESDOAPPEN here 2 starts back after securing the pocket trail. With the cosy trip she can be in the money again here.

ARCHIECANO (8) was too far back last start from gate 4 after snagging back to find position. He can follow through early here to find position and has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: BIG BEAT (4), RITCHIE BEE (2), ARCHIECANO (8), MISS ROB ROY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BIG BEAT (4) to win

RACE FIVE

OPONONIS BLISS (10) is a talented mare and despite gate 10 looks to be too classy for this line-up. Returning for a hit and run mission in the 3YO fillies Triad consolation she went for another break before resuming with a half-neck 2nd to the smart COREY WILLIAM. This looks hers for the picking.

JENUFLECTION (6) has the wide gate to negotiate, however she too has her share of talent and will strip fitter following her return to the track after a 12 month lay-off. Settling in the running line from the 2nd line she worked home nicely. She is worth following.

WILLSINTOWN (5) found his race here 2 starts back and from gate 1 was able to dictate in front and ripped home a sub 28 panel which is flying on the triangle. With even luck he will be in the mix.

MAYTHEHORSEBWITHU (4) wasn’t suited from gate 6 last start when snagged back and then never in the mix behind the talented MR KALYPSO. His run 2 back was solid when making an error and he can feature.

SELECTIONS: OPONONIS BLISS (10), JENUFLECTION (6), WILLSINTOWN (5), MAYTHEHORSEBWITHU (4)
SUGGESTED BET: OPONONIS BLISS (10) to win

RACE SIX

UNASSUMING CHAMP (9)
was lining up off gate 10 here 2 starts back looking to make it a hat-trick of victories when he was sent to the breeze and went down swinging, getting within a head of the winner. His latest effort was solid under the circumstances and he can look to take this.

OLIVER WINKLE (2) settled in the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line last start and used the passing lane to get within a head of the winner BROADWATER. Probably better suited from this alley rather than having to make one closing shot like last time, he will be right in the fight.

SHADOW HUNTER (5) circled them early here last time to press on to light the lamps and once in control held off a gallant UNASSUMING CHAMP. That followed a narrow AP 2nd and in great touch can give this a shake.

ANNAS BEST (1) has been runner-up at her past 2 starts with both runs coming from the 2nd line. Back to the front and with good early speed she will be in the firing line for a long way.

SELECTIONS: UNASSUMING CHAMP (9), OLIVER WINKLE (2), SHADOW HUNTER (5), ANNAS BEST (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-5-9

RACE SEVEN

SHADOW PASS (9) was able to sneak a breather at the right time and then finish over the top of FRANCO TOTEM over the AP 2138m trip 3 back. Beaten in red figures at his next run after doing plenty of work, his latest run was full of merit when wide for a long way. He can bounce back here.

GLENFERRIE DUSTER (3) took them all the way from gate 2 over the mile at AP 3 starts back and followed that with a late closing 3rd from gate 10. Last start he packed too many guns in the run to the finish in a smart run from gate 9. Back to the front line he will right in this.

ELMAUR JOY (2) resumes from a spell and was last seen when finishing 1m from the winner JAZZY ARTIST over the mile at AP. With good early speed she can look to take control and will be gripping on.

HOT DOGMA (1) is on the short back-up after going around from gate 1 at AP on Tues. After a hat-trick of Redcliffe victories 4 starts back, he fought hard when only 4m from the winner. The gate suits.

SELECTIONS: SHADOW PASS (9), GLENFERRIE DUSTER (3), ELMAUR JOY (2), HOT DOGMA (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SHADOW PASS (9) to win

RACE EIGHT

STEVIE DEE (4)
has been freshened since her latest start when starting from gate 10 and tracking home in good order to be 7m from the winner. Her run 5 starts back when grabbed in the closing stages by the smart REDBANK ADDI was a nice effort and with good early speed can take a shot here.

ONE MANS PASS (5) found his race last week and was sent to the post a short-priced elect. Settling in the running line when not pushed early, he was far too strong in with the winning margins 9m x 16m. From the gate he can ease back to find position and will be steaming home.

IM ROLLING STONED (1) will take benefit from her latest start when returning from a long break. Well covered from a 2nd line gate, she will enjoy the cosy trip here and has place hopes.

ITS ALL GO (9) returns from a break and was last seen when successful when able to lead throughout from gate 4 at Marburg. There has been some nice form come out of that race and with even luck he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: STEVIE DEE (4), ONE MANS PASS (5), IM ROLLING STONED (1), ITS ALL GO (9)
SUGGESTED BET: STEVIE DEE (4) to win
