RACE TWO

TRENTLEIGH (1) should be close to full fitness now after 4 runs back from a spell, the latest when angled to the pegs from a 2nd line gate, but unable to work into the contest. He pounced on the pegs 2 starts back prior to releasing and wasn’t too far away. With the ace gate, he can look to dictate.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (10) has placed at his past 3 starts and will return from a freshen after not going to the races in August. Last start from gate 1, he set the tempo over the sprint trip at Redcliffe when grabbed in the last strides and beaten a half-head. With even luck, he can be swooping late.

BEYONSKI (9) went to the pegs last start looking for cheap runs when not too far from GOALKICKER. Too far back the start prior when chasing KWASII, with the right run in transit, she looms as a player.

KOOKABURRAPRINCESS (4) was a tidy debut winner when leading throughout and cruising home to an 8m victory. Taking silver 2nd up, the past 2 haven’t really suited and she has podium claims here.

SELECTIONS: TRENTLEIGH (1), WILD ABOUT TOWN (10), BEYONSKI (9), KOOKABURRAPRINCESS (4)
SUGGESTED BET: TRENTLEIGH (1) to win

RACE THREE

5 starts back at her latest AP appearance BUNDJALUNG BEAUTY (4) started from this gate when taking control and once in front was a comfortable 4m victor. Game in holding 3rd at her next start, she struck trouble her next 2 and then was wide last time. Back in the draw, she can bounce back.

SOMEHHOWSOMEWAY (3) rolled forward to face the breeze over the Redcliffe sprint trip 3 starts back and was fighting hard when 2m from the winner in claiming the silver. Back in the pack from gate 10, he worked home strongly last time and with an improved gate can challenge.

FLASHING GOOD TIME (10) has been to The Creek on 20 occasions and is yet to find the winners stall and faces a tough ask again from the 2nd line. This does look easier than recent starts and she has place claims.

STAR OF WONDER (1) will have his 1st outing at Albion Park and with the benefit of the good alley, should find a handy position in transit and be looking to hold on for some place money.

SELECTIONS: BUNDJALUNG BEAUTY (4), SOMEHHOWSOMEWAY (3), FLASHING GOOD TIME (10), STAR OF WONDER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BUNDJALUNG BEAUTY (4) to win

RACE FOUR

HIGH ON MONTANA (8)
will need a rub of the green from inside the 2nd line but he follows out a good beginner and if hitting the passing lane with momentum can be ready to take the closing shot. Freshened since his last outing when working hard in the breeze, he finds an easier assignment here.

THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (1) was forced to work in the run last start from wide off the track and couldn’t reel them in. Racing tough in the breeze at her previous 2 starts, she was only collared on the line at Redcliffe 4 starts back when looking to take them all the way. She will be gripping on.

DATSGOOD (3) features in a stable switch, joining the Peter Jones barn. 3rd up from a spell last time out, she was up to her old tricks but was still able to claim the win. If she paces cleanly, she is a chance.

WHERES TASCOTT (5) was a winner in a 2YO race on the last day of the season, just on 12 months ago and has been unable to add another win. Her 2nd at Redcliffe 2 starts back had merit and she can find the podium here.

SELECTIONS: HIGH ON MONTANA (8), THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (1), DATSGOOD (3), WHERES TASCOTT (5)
SUGGESTED BET: HIGH ON MONTANA (8) to win

RACE FIVE

STUDLEIGH WILL (8) landed his 1st Ap victory here 2 starts back when angled away from the pegs to face the breeze and then packed too many guns in the run to the line. Finishing mid-field last start after settling back in the pack from the 2nd line, he can get the soft trip and take the snipers shot.

LIVING FREE (1) has been runner-up at his past 3 starts and will be looking to land his 1st ever victory at The Creek in this. Finding the front from gate 4 last start over the Redcliffe sprint trip, he was worried out of it by RAGING INFERNO. With the speed to take control, he will try to fight them off.

LETS DIG IT (2) made errors last start that saw him banished to the trials. Earning the ticket back with a handy hit-out, if able to limit the workload in transit, he can issue a challenge.

TIGES APPRENTICE (9) will make his Qld debut for Reece Maguire and arrives a last start winner at Leeton when taking them all the way from gate 3. With even luck in transit he can feature.

SELECTIONS: STUDLEIGH WILL (8), LIVING FREE (1), LETS DIG IT (2), TIGES APPRENTICE (9)
SUGGESTED BET:  Exotics 1-2-8-9

RACE SIX

VINTAGE DREAM (1) should find this a shade or 2 easier than her last start when taking n Saturday night mares company and finishing down the line behind BALLERINA COURU. From this gate 2 starts back she was buried away when attacking the line strongly and 2m from MELANNA BEACH. This is within reach.

STEVIE DEE (6) is in nice touch with a top-three at each of her past 4 outings. Taking on a mares qualifier last start, she was back in the pack and attacking the line in good order for the bronze behind IMA BLACK BEAUTY. Within 2m of the winner in smart time 2 back, she can feature here.

SACHE GIRL (9) made the most of conditions last start from gate 1 and taking control was able to lead throughout, running a tidy last 800m in scoring by 3m. With the right trail she can chime in.

LURAH (7) arrived from back in the pack to score a nice win here 4 starts back and was able to back that up with placings at her next 2. On the short back-up from Tues, she can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: VINTAGE DREAM (1), STEVIE DEE (6), SACHE GIRL (9), LURAH (7)
SUGGESTED BET: VINTAGE DREAM (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

His numbers might not be much to look at and he has landed the widest gate, yet LANCELOT BROMAC (7) finds his easiest assignment for a long time and the veteran can start his 10YO season with success. Within 6m of TENNYSON BROMAC 5 starts back and then chasing GUNNRNEEDABIGRBOAT at 2 of his past 3, he is worth the chance here.

IM TOOT (1) sat in the pocket trail last start when chasing home for the silver in smart time at Redcliffe behind FIRE AND ICE. Tough in the breeze 2 starts back when 3rd, he has the gate but the distance is the query.

FEELINGFORARAINBOW (6) has been freshened since his last appearance in the Marburg Derby when circling from the 2nd line and forced to do all the work before fading out. He can bounce back.

AQUA CRUISER (10) was taken back from gate 5 last start and locked away was too far back to challenge as STAR OF MONTANA swooped to score. With even luck he can podium in this line-up.

SELECTIONS: LANCELOT BROMAC (7), IM TOOT (1), FEELINGFORARAINBOW (6), AQUA CRUISER (10)
SUGGESTED BET: LANCELOT BROMAC (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

CHANGE OF MIND (3) will strip fitter from his 1st run back in Qld and since changing barns to join Chantal Turpin. Staying out of the early burn last start when settling in the running line, he was within 10m of the winner JUST SEDUCE ME. From the gate he can have an early look and gets his chance.

MAFUTA VAUTIN (10) started from inside the 2nd line last start at Redcliffe and was soon buried away against the poles. With the gaps not arriving until it was too late, he still found the line in good order to be 5m from the winner. Forced to retreat from wide gates his previous 2, he can chime in.
ITS JUST KENNY (7) doesn’t have any favours from this alley, yet he is in good touch and hasn’t received the rewards despite the effort his past 3. Hitting the line hard last start, he wasn’t too far from TENNYSON BROMAC the start prior and has some claims in this.

SPEEDIE MCARDLE (1) found the line in good order last start after settling back in the pack behind SOMWHEREOVARAINBOW. Too far back the start prior from a wide gate, he can be sharper from the improved alley.

SELECTIONS: CHANGE OF MIND (3), MAFUTA VAUTIN (10), ITS JUST KENNY (7), SPEEDIE MCARDLE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: CHANGE OF MIND (3) to win
