RACE TWO

THE BUS (1) has been racing well without the reward of late and utilising the concession claim, gets into a slightly easier line-up. Forced to grind it out last start, he was on for the fight when not too far away from MAJOR CURRENCY which followed a nice 6m margin behind RICH VIRGIN. Hustling early, this is within reach.

COREY WILLIAM (8) will be sweating on THE BUS running express and if able to secure the pocket trail, will be ready to take the closing shot. In for the fight when within 1.5m of the winner MAYWYNS BEST last start, he was only 3m from RICH VIRGIN here 4 starts back.

JAMIES BAD BOY (2) has missed a placing just once in 12 starts here at headquarters, the latest when brave in holding on for 3rd behind SPEECH IS SILVER. He can go close again here.

SO KOOL MASTER (9) was too far back in the pack last start with the tempo on the front end making it tough for the chasers. The pegs might be the place to be and taking the short-cuts can chime in.

SELECTIONS: THE BUS (1), COREY WILLIAM (8), JAMIES BAD BOY (2), SO KOOL MASTER (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-8-9

RACE THREE

I AM SERENGETI (8)
shoots for a hat-trick after successive wins over the 2138m, both coming from gate 9 when working home over the top in the closing stages. Starting in red figures last start, he powered home to claim a 6m victory which followed a big 18m winning margin. He might need a slice of luck, but can arrive.

SIR JULIAN (3) was finding the line in nice style last start to grab the bronze when 6m in arrears of the winner MACEY JAYDE. Put a line through his run 2 starts back when the majority of the field were left standing by THREE MUGS IN and look at his win 3 starts back. From this gate he can challenge.

NEWPORT DREAMZ (1) broke through to claim victory in a qualifier last start when finishing strongly in the closing stages to arrive for the prize. This is a step up and despite the gate, not many can win their qualifier and band 5 in successive starts.

KLEENED OUT (4) is an example of that situation, looking well placed to win last start in a band 5 after winning his qualifier in good style 2 starts back. Deserted by luck, he was carted back, yet closed nicely when working into space. He is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: I AM SERENGETI (8), SIR JULIAN (3), NEWPORT DREAMZ (1), KLEENED OUT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: I AM SERENGETI (8) to win

RACE FOUR

BRADNESS ELDEFUEGO (1)
has placed in both runs since returning from a spell, the latest when looking to be under pressure yet he kept finding to get within a half-neck of the prize. Charging home when resuming, both return runs have been from the 2nd line and with the improved gate, he can look to cash-in.

HES NOVAK (8) secured the perfect trip in the pocket trail here 2 runs back and when given his orders up the passing lane, finished with too much zip to claim victory by a head. Not too far away last start when stuck in traffic, he can get a cosy trip again here and be ready to pounce up the lane.

AT WEST POINT (2) was forced to race tough last start and was on for the fight when within 2m of the winner FEEL THE REIGN. Only 3m away the start prior from gate 7, he can feature from this gate.

CELTIC CRUZA (5) eased back from gate 7 last start and was back in the pack when chasing in vain. Big in defeat when only 1m from the winner COOL SCOOTER the start prior, he is in for the fight.

SELECTIONS: BRADNESS ELDEFUEGO (1), HES NOVAK (8), AT WEST POINT (2), CELTIC CRUZA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BRADNESS ELDEFUEGO (1) to win

RACE FIVE

GLENFERRIE HOOD (7) capitalised on an improved gate last week, when taking control in front. Allowed to roll, he had them chasing and put the power on in a 54.5 closing half to score in style. Jammed with the outside gate in this, he can still press forward and show his class to claim his 25th victory at The Creek.

DARK ENERGY (1) was buried away last start and didn’t have the clearest passage to the line when grabbing 2nd behind MAJOR CURRENCY. His run was sound despite finishing officially last the start prior from gate 10 which had followed successive wins. From this gate he will be slicing through late.

MAJOR CURRENCY (2) is in great form with wins at 4 of his past 6 starts. This is a rise but if allowed to roll in front like his past 2 victories where he has been too sharp, he can give some cheek.

MAJOR CAM (8) was taken back from gate 6 last start and was stuck in traffic when down the line behind GLENFERRIE HOOD. That was a handy pip-opener for his return and 2nd up will be probing for gaps.

SELECTIONS: GLENFERRIE HOOD (7), DARK ENERGY (1), MAJOR CURRENCY (2), MAJOR CAM (8)
SUGGESTED BET: GLENFERRIE HOOD (7) to win

RACE SIX

These mares races are always keenly contested and despite the chance that she might have to do it the tough way, MISS MONEYBAGS (3) might be able to use her class to claim the win. She chased gamely to grab the silver behind the gun filly PELOSI last start. Fitter again after 3 runs back from a break, she can take this.

LAUGHING EMOJI (2) finished best from back the pack after starting from the 2nd line at Redcliffe 2 starts back to score in smart time over the sprint trip. Not much went to plan last start when ETERNAL PROMISE set a slick speed out in front and firing the 1st shot, is right in the mix here.

TRUNKEY DIGGER (6) is knocking but seems to have forgotten the secret knock to open the door of victory. Runner-up her past 5 in succession, she closed strongly once again last start from gate 10 over the Redcliffe sprint trip. She won’t be far away again.

JEWEL OF PEAK (1) takes on the older mares but lands the right gate to chime into the money. Striking trouble 2 starts back at Redcliffe, she backs up from Wed where she was a smart winner.

SELECTIONS: MISS MONEYBAGS (3), LAUGHING EMOJI (2), TRUNKEY DIGGER (6), JEWEL OF PEAK (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MISS MONEYBAGS (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (2) is crying out to win a race, looking a good thing beat at his past few starts. Snagged back from gate 5 last start, he was probing for openings and then was angled wide, really attacking the line strongly. Only 5m away the start prior when never sighting space, he can redeem himself here.

OYSTER STRIDE (1) was angled to the pegs from a 2nd line gate last start and didn’t have the clearest run to the line when only 4m in arrears of the winner. That followed a 3rd when locked away from inside the 2nd line and with the chance to utilise his early speed, he will be right in the fight.

JOHNNY WHITE (5) is yet to miss a quinella placing in 4 starts here at headquarters. Attacking the line strongly from back in the pack last week without receiving the cleanest passage, he is in the mix.

SHERIFF JUJON (8) should be tucked away and be ready to take the snipers shot here. Grabbing the bronze last start from this same gate over the 2138m, his run 2 back was full of merit from gate 7.

SELECTIONS: SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (2), OYSTER STRIDE (1), JOHNNY WHITE (5), SHERIFF JUJON (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (5) did some early work from a similar gate over the mile last start prior to receiving cover in the run. Making his charge in the stretch, he loomed strongly, but was nabbed late by the passing lane winner, beaten a head. Finishing his races strongly, he might have found the right race here.

BURMACH (2) was sent forward from gate 3 over the Redcliffe sprint trip last start and finding the front was able to fight them off to claim a 3m victory, running a sharp closing 800m section in the process. Not suited the start prior when snagged back from gate 6, he can fire the 1st shot here.

SHAZAM SHANNON (1) is on the back-up from Thursday at Marburg when taking on a heat of the standing-start Goldstrike Series. Tough in the breeze when 3rd to BURMACH 2 starts back, the soft trip suits.

TODAYS HERO (9) found the 1x1 trail last start from this same gate and finishing hard over the 2138m trip was only 1m from the winner. With the right early trail, he can be right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (5), BURMACH (2), SHAZAM SHANNON (1), TODAYS HERO (9)
SUGGESTED BET: RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (5) to win

RACE NINE

With the 3 front row runners drawn wide and all a possible risk at the start, there is a chance that JUSTABITNOISY (4) can show his good manners and scoot through early and might just be able to pounce on the lead. A winner over the 2138m when leading them up 2 starts back, he is worth a ticket here.

GREG THE GREAT (1) appreciated the mobile conditions over the sprint trip here 2 starts back and swooping home over the top, claimed a 2m victory. Working home strongly and wide off the track here on Tues from a 30m tape to be within 3m of the winner, if safely away, he can challenge.

OUR OVERANOVA (10) returns from a spell and was last seen back in Jan when not too far away under mobile conditions. Never far from the action, he can chime into the action late.

MAJESTIC SIMON (3) shoots for the hat-trick with his latest victory coming when powering home to claim a strong win off 30m in the McNeil Final. The start will be all important to his chances here.

SELECTIONS: JUSTABITNOISY (4), GREG THE GREAT (1), OUR OVERANOVA (10), MAJESTIC SIMON (3)
SUGGESTED BET: JUSTABITNOISY (4) each-way

RACE TEN

MAJOR LUCKY (4) did it the tough way last start when forced to park up outside the leader over this trip. With the tempo on throughout, he faded in the closing stages to trail in the field. Placed his previous 2 starts which had followed a tidy win when swooping home to score, he can arrive in this.

JEROSH (6) took on a qualifier last start from gate 4 over this trip and firing out off the arm found the front and looked to control proceedings. With a slick 3rd panel, he was unable to finish it off when dropping back through the pack. Despite the wide gate, he can be sharper in this line-up.

HIGH ON MONTANA (2) has placed at his past 2 starts, the latest when sticking to the inside when 7m from the dictating winner ALBION ARK. Only beaten a lip the start prior, he is in the mix here.

MISTER BLACKJACK (7) started from inside the 2nd line last start and eased into the running line was hitting the line in nice style when only a neck from the winner. The gate hurts but he can feature.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR LUCKY (4), JEROSH (6), HIGH ON MONTANA (2), MISTER BLACKJACK (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR LUCKY (4) to win
