RACE TWO

HEZA BROMAC (4) doesn’t have the greatest of numbers next to his name, however following 2 starts since arriving in Qld, he might just have found the right conditions here. Fading under a tough workload when 1st up in a strong mile 2 starts back, he was finding the line in nice style last start after retreating from gate 7. Finding position cheaply, he is worth a chance.

COMMODORE JUJON (9) has been to the track 3 times this campaign and looked unlucky not to have received a better result in each. Closing strongly last start at Redcliffe after settling well back in the pack to get within a head of the winner, his 1st up run behind SPEECH IS SILVER was full of merit.

MISTER HART (10) may have been closer than the 10m margin he was beaten last start if the gaps arrived sooner. That followed a tidy 3rd at Redcliffe and with even luck in transit can podium here.

BLUE MOON RISING (1) has been kept fresh since his 1st run since featuring in a stable switch and arriving in Qld. Back in the pack from gate 5 at Redcliffe in that event, look for a sharper effort from this gate.

SELECTIONS: HEZA BROMAC (4), COMMODORE JUJON (9), MISTER HART (10), BLUE MOON RISING (1)
SUGGESTED BET: HEZA BROMAC (4) to win

RACE THREE

STREET APPEAL (7) powered home over the top here 3 starts back after starting from gate 12 and justifying his $1.60 quote in a smart win. Forget his next start at Redcliffe where he was fired up outside the leader and forced the tempo prior to fading. Bouncing back with a comfortable all the way win last start, he looks to have their measure under these conditions, despite the gate.

CALLMEDEMARO (6) wasn’t suited from the 2nd line last start when trying to make ground behind the in-form winner CAUTIVAR. Within 10m of the dictating winner FEELINGFORAMIRACLE the star prior, he looks to get into this race nicely and can be around the mark.

KOTIRO (9) was 1st up in Qld and following a break when doing some work over the 2138m, but unable to finish it off. Back to the mile, she can return a sharper effort against this line-up.

JILLIBY JACKPOT (5) will strip fitter following his latest appearance when resuming from a spell. Eased to the pegs for a cosy run, the tempo was against the chasers. Settling closer, he can chime in late.

SELECTIONS: STREET APPEAL (7), CALLMEDEMARO (6), KOTIRO (9), JILLIBY JACKPOT (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi 7 / 5-6-9

RACE FOUR

FOREVER ROCKING (5)
will take good benefit from her latest offering following 5 weeks between appearances. Snagged back from gate 6 over the mile 2 starts back, she was closing strongly when 3.5m from the winner BROKEN ARK. Only 2m off the winner last start after not finding the smoothest trip, she can rise to the 2138m to take this.

VENUS JUJON (3) found the 1x1 trail here 2 starts back when returning from a break and with the power on through the 3rd panel, she couldn’t go with them. Looking to have found a suitable assignment at Redcliffe, she was sent out a red figure fav when fading after working in the run. This is within reach.

CHEESANDKISSES (1) will be 1st up from a spell here without a public trial to prepare. Placed at her past 2 last campaign from wide gates, the cosy trip at her 1st attempt over the 2138m suits and she is a podium hope.

THE WARP REACTOR (2) closed in good order to grab the silver here over the mile 3 starts back and franked that with a Redcliffe win over the 2040m. Mid-field last start behind STREET APPEAL, he is an exotic inclusion.

SELECTIONS: FOREVER ROCKING (5), VENUS JUJON (3), CHEESANDKISSES (1), THE WARP REACTOR (2)
SUGGESTED BET: FOREVER ROCKING (5) to win

SIGNOR JUJON (3) started from inside the 2nd line last start over the mile and soon was buried away and facing a forlorn task. Not finding the smoothest passage home, it was a tidy effort under the circumstances to be 8m form the winner. Tough in the breeze from gate 6 at Redcliffe the start prior, he looks to get his chance here.

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (1) found the 1x1 trail over the Redcliffe 2040m trip last start and with the leader running even sections, he was unable to eat into the deficit. That had followed 3 successive wins including a Trot Rods heat. With the right trip from the ace, he can look to make a closing play.

ALL GOOD WALLY (4) started from the 2nd line over the mile here 2 starts back when closing strongly to get within a half-neck of the winner. Forget his last start when striking trouble, he can fire the early shots here.

MOTU AMETHYST (7) is a 3YO Bettors Delight filly on debut for the Mark Dux stable. With some strong breeding backed up with a tidy trial to prepare, the gate hurts but she stays under notice.

SELECTIONS: SIGNOR JUJON (3), BEEF CITY STARZZZ (1), ALL GOOD WALLY (4), MOTU AMETHYST (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SIGNOR JUJON (3) to win

RACE SIX

LAVROS TEXAS (1) is starting to put it together for the Dixon barn and was finding the line in good order under mobile conditions 2 starts back when grabbing the silver when 2m in arrears of the winner. Again, from the mobile mile last start he finished best to score a good win and with a safe start off the front tape looks to get every chance once again.

JUSTABITNOISY (4) flew the tapes from his 10m here 2 starts back and was able to slice through to find the front over the long 2647m trip. With GREG THE GREAT stalking him every step, he was unable to hold him off. Hitting the line strongly last start after being buried in the run from the mobile, he can challenge.

MAYBETOTHEMAX (10) was beaten by gate 7 last start when forced to retreat early and then just found himself too far back. A winner when charging home here 4 starts back, look for the big chestnut swooping.

GEE UP NEDDY (8) will strip fitter from his latest appearance when resuming from a spell. Stepping cleanly from the 20m to have a look for the front, he eased to trail when 3rd to GREG THE GREAT. He is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: LAVROS TEXAS (1), JUSTABITNOISY (4), MAYBETOTHEMAX (10), GEE UP NEDDY (8)
SUGGESTED BET: LAVROS TEXAS (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

IS SOMETHINGBURNING (7) is still looking to open her Aus account after making it to double figures last time out without finding the winners stall. Placed in 3 of those 10 attempts, she has shown the ability is not lacking, the manners just need adjusting. Finishing nicely to be within 2m of MUSCULUS 3 starts back, that type of run could win this if she can re-create it.

EL SWAVO (2) started from the 30mape last start and after securing the 1x1 trail in transit, worked home soundly to finish 3rd. Pressing on to light the lamps from the same 30m impost 2 starts back, he held on for the silver. Back to the front for this, he looks to have ideal conditions to break a long winless streak

DAY TOURER (6) started off the big 50m handicap last start when away in his usual safe manner and then making a closing run, grabbed the bronze. Settling handy, he can be in the mix again here.

BOURBONONTHEROCKS (5) closed hard from a 40m tape here 3 starts back to get within a half-neck of the winner. Charging home last start at Marburg for a smart win, she can feature from the 10m.

SELECTIONS: IS SOMETHINGBURNING (7), EL SWAVO (2), DAY TOURER (6), BOURBONONTHEROCKS (5)
SUGGESTED BET: IS SOMETHINGBURNING (7) to win
