RACE TWO

With added fitness from two runs back from a spell where she has finishes 2nd in each run, BETTERTHANDIAMONDS (2) comes up with an improved barrier after facing gate 6 and then 9 the past two. Closing out nicely to be 2m from BLUE IVY last start, it was a gritty effort when parked first up and this looks right in the wheelhouse.

MOLLIESMARYELLE (1) was not suited from the second line at Marburg last start and the task was made tougher when striking some trouble in the run. A big winner first over at Redcliffe two starts back with a smart last 800m, she can secure the ideal trip from this gate to make a challenge.

BLISSFULL LILLY (5) fired off the gate to take control two starts back and from the front was able to see it out. Handing over last start and holding on for 3rd, she can be thereabouts once again.

SPIRITED BELLE (8) has been down the line in two runs since returning from a spell where she has not really appreciated The Triangle. Back to headquarters where she is 3 from 3, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: BETTERTHANDIAMONDS (2), MOLLIESMARYELLE (1), BLISSFULL LILLY (5), SPIRITED BELLE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: BETTERTHANDIAMONDS (2) to win

RACE THREE

Returning to Qld from NZ after a stop off at Menangle in search of a Ladyship Mile berth PELOSI (1), amazingly is still eligible for a mare’s qualifier. A slick winner last start over the Menangle mile to record a new PB win rate, she hit the line nicely in a recent workout and has the gate to dictate.

THE DARLING (4) has won 4 of her 5 starts since arriving in Qld, with that defeat coming from gate 9 over the Redcliffe sprint trip when she was wide off the track and just 2m in arrears of the winner. Grabbing the chocolates at Redcliffe on Tuesday via the passing lane, she can throw it down here.

VALKYRIE (7) makes her first appearance in Qld and arrives a four-time winner with her last start when 3rd in a strong closing 800m at Swan Hill. With a smart workout to open the pipes, she is in the mix.

HAMMERTIME HARLEY (2) continues to get close in this grade and added another 2nd placing to her tally last start when hitting the line hard from back in the pack. Settling handy she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: PELOSI (1), THE DARLING (4), VALKYRIE (7), HAMMERTIME HARLEY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: PELOSI (1) to win

RACE FOUR

Still yet to claim a victory since arriving in Qld, the jack Butler trained OBI ONE (1) might just have found his opportunity to open the account. Asked to roll the sleeves when sent forward to sit parked last start, he was grinding it out to finish 5m in arrears of the winner. With all the options he lands his chance.

GLENLEDI BOY (3) is absolutely knocking on the door of victory, returning some eye-catching runs in defeat in recent weeks. The widest runner swinging for home last week at Redcliffe, he was strong to the line to get within a neck of the winner. Wide gates have been hurting and he lands the chance to challenge.

THE IRISH EAGLE (8) started from inside the second line last time out and was soon buried in the run. Finding some gaps to grab the bronze, he looks set for the right trip to chime in again.

THE HERVEY BAY (4) is 2 from 22 here at The Creek, but he has placed in a further 14 of those appearances. Making some nice metres over the closing stages last start, he is in the mix here.

SELECTIONS: OBI ONE (1), GLENLEDI BOY (3), THE IRISH EAGLE (8), THE HERVEY BAY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-4-8

RACE FIVE

From gate 6 last start at Redcliffe the red line can go straight through the run of JUDDY DOUGLAS (1) with it impossible to make any ground with the tempo controlled in front. Game in defeat when facing the breeze two starts back, a strong workout and the good gate have him primed for this.

THREE IN HEAVEN (8) faded after a tough run from gate 6 over the 2138m two starts back with the last 800m in slick time. With a month between runs, he was at Redcliffe last start when setting the speed and collared in the last stride by KEAYANG MARVEN. He will stalk the speed here ready to strike.

FALCONS (6) has two wins and a 2nd from the three times he has faced the started in Qld, the latest a fast-closing win from against the markers. The gate does him no favours, but he stays in the mix.

SHADOW MINISTER (5) held the front from the ace at Marburg last start and after a steady opening quarter kept them rolling through the next 1200m. He is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: JUDDY DOUGLAS (1), THREE IN HEAVEN (8), FALCONS (6), SHADOW MINISTER (5)
SUGGESTED BET: JUDDY DOUGLAS (1) to win

RACE SIX
Kept fresh since his last appearance CLASS TO THE MAX (1) will be giving away experience to his rivals for this contest but importantly lands the gate to take full advantage. Last seen back on February 15 when runner-up to his stablemate LEAP TO FAME, his run was strong in victory two starts back when sitting parked.

GOOD AS IT GETS (8) faced the outside second line gate last time out at The Triangle and was picking up some good metres in the closing stages to finish within 3m of the winner. Luckless the start prior at Marburg, he looks set enjoy the perfect trip here to issue the closing challenge.

CAPTAINS PICK (10) should relish the opportunity to get back on the big deck where he can display his best work. Buried in the run last start from inside the second line, he can be chiming in.

AMILLION PROMISES (6) was sent across from gate 5 on Tuesday and finding the 1x1 trail was then making a strong play over the closing stages to go within an eyelash of victory. The gate stings but he is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: CLASS TO THE MAX (1), GOOD AS IT GETS (8), CAPTAINS PICK (10), AMILLION PROMISES (6)
SUGGESTED BET: CLASS TO THE MAX (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

It has been a mixed start to the season for WILL THE WIZARD (7) who has managed to place on just one occasion in four attempts. Never comfortable last start at Redcliffe when finishing near the tail of the field, he was only 2m away here two starts back. With the drop back to this grade, he lands the chance to recapture winning form.

BITCOIN (4) is racing in great touch and was a smart winner over the 2040m four starts back. Not much has really been in his favour since that win, yet he has still placed twice, facing wide or second line gates in all three. Strong to the line last start, this is a step up, but he is up to the task.

FEELINGFORARAINBOW (5) resumes from a spell, with his last outing in late January when beating a few runners to the line in a FFA event. A passing lane winner in similar grade here two starts back, he is in the mix.

COMMODORE JUJON (1) rarely runs a bad race and is never far from the action, his latest outing on Tuesday when 2m away after a tough trip sitting parked. From this gate he looks set to secure the trip to feature.

SELECTIONS: WILL THE WIZARD (7), BITCOIN (4), FEELINGFORARAINBOW (5), COMMODORE JUJON (1)
SUGGESTED BET: WILL THE WIZARD (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

Settling back in the pack from the second line at Redcliffe last week, WATTS UP SUNSHINE (5) was fired up. Making a wide move, he moved up strongly but had to settle for the silver as CALL ME KEITH took the passing lane shot. A big Newcastle winner four starts back, a return to the front line is a big help.

BIG WHEELS (4) will appreciate a return to a tight gate after starting from the outside gate at each of his past two starts. Eased before making a back-straight attack last time, he pulled clear and looked to have it in the bag only to tippy-toe late and be gunned down. He gets every chance from the gate.

INFATUATION (3) powered home over the top of them two starts back to take victory in a smart last 800m over the 2040m trip. Balancing up to grab the silver last start, he should relish the longer stretch.

KEAYANG MARVEN (11) threw his chances away last start when making a costly error that put him out of business. A winner his previous two in succession, he is best placed if there is a speed battle on the front end.

SELECTIONS: WATTS UP SUNSHINE (5), BIG WHEELS (4), INFATUATION (3), KEAYANG MARVEN (11)
SUGGESTED BET: WATTS UP SUNSHINE (5) to win

RACE NINE

Given no favours from outside the second line SPEECH IS SILVER (10) will be relying on a tempo which looks set to create a genuine clip here. Taken back from the outside paint at Redcliffe last start, he attacked the line with power to arrive. Placed his previous two, he can descend on them.

IDEAL WORLD (4) was a winner at the 2138m here four starts back when sent to the front and taking control took them all the way. His efforts have been full of merit from tough gates on a track that he is not really suited at in his past three and back to the big oval he can throw down the challenge.

STAR GALLERIA (7) made the most of the gate last start to make it two wins in his past three starts since resuming from a spell, both wins when leading throughout. The gate makes it tougher this time, but he is in the mix.

BLACKSADANCE (2) is unplaced in three runs this season but there could be some valid excuses for each of those three runs. The inside second line was his nemesis last start at Redcliffe and with his early hustle, he can set the target.

SELECTIONS: SPEECH IS SILVER (10), IDEAL WORLD (4), STAR GALLERIA (7), BLACKSADANCE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SPEECH IS SILVER (10) to win

RACE TEN

With a lone Redcliffe run on March 12 since his last appearance back on December 4, LOMBO HEAVEN (4) can take full advantage of this gate to look for an all the way victory. It was not the smoothest passage on his return with the previous two runs from awkward draws. This looks ideal.

IT AINT THE MONEY (10) will have to negotiate the tricky gate here and will be relying on some tempo. With a strong front line, he will get the opportunity to chase rather than being up front carving it out. Beaten by gate 6 last start over the 1780m trip, it followed successive wins and he can throw it down.

HANDSOME HERO (6) will take benefit from his latest performance when resuming from a break. Angled to the pegs to look for some luck and shortcuts, finding position cheaply will be key.

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (1) was looking to take them all the way from the ace last start over the 2040m trip and led every inch bar the one that counted. He lands all the options to feature.

SELECTIONS: LOMBO HEAVEN (4), IT AINT THE MONEY (10), HANDSOME HERO (6), MAJOR GENERALJUJON (1)
SUGGESTED BET: LOMBO HEAVEN (4) to win
